I'm a new homeowner that recently acquired an in ground saltwater pool, that I had absolutely no idea how to maintain or assess if it was in working condition. Thankfully, Garrett was able to inspect the pool prior to me closing on the house in order to ensure there weren't any significant issues (or red flags) that would require a costly, immediate repair. Scheduleding with Garrett was easy. He was very accessible by phone (via text) and was able to squeeze me into his schedule with only a couple days notice, even during peak pool season. I'm super thankful for him, otherwise I may have bought an expensive nonfunctioning pool. On the day of inspection, Garret was very professional. He explained to me his findings as he performed the inspection. He even provided me with a quick tutorial in how to operate my pool. There were so many switches!! He understood confidentiality and even pulled me aside for minor issues (loose pool light, cracked top pool step, and a leaky jet return that was not connected to the main pump) I may have wanted to discuss with my real estate attorney to be put in escrow funds. Overall, he confirmed there was no alarming issues that would need costly repairs. And, in the end, he spoke honestly and said, if he were the buyer, he would feel confident moving forward with the purchase. That alone gave me the peace of mind to close on the house. Can't believe I didn't review Garrett prior. Sorry! I've been using him for three seasons now, opening and closing only, and I can't complain. Might not seem like much, but it is. Knowing my $30K investment is opened and closed properly is very important. My pool is literally crystal clear when he opens it. I know that's mostly due to the solid Loop-Loc cover, but, he installs it correctly. Remember, these covers are nearly $5K alone, important to take care of them as well. Garrett organizes everything, removes the cell without you asking, manages to actually get the cover in the storage bag as if it was factory-packed, and is just a good guy. He has also saved me money on service-related visits just by offering me advice. He's not the type to take your money for nothing and that's rare these days. When he first came, I was shocked because it's just Garrett, and one assistant. The other guys I used sent four guys and it would take them a little over an hour, messing around with hand-trucks, and whatnot. Garrett is in-and-out in less than 30-minutes I'd say. So happy I found this company. I reached out to several companies on this app and even though Garrett from GZ pool works couldn't provide weekly Maintanence, he was able to come out and power vac for us. He and his partner came in and got right to work. He also gave my husband a bunch of tips on how to maintain the pool. We set a date to close and confirmed it, reminded me of what I was expected to do in advance. On the scheduled day, he let me know he was running a bit late.
