Drug Came out to the house, found a very small place where rats could enter the subfloor, put out traps and caught them right away. Came back three more times and then sealed their entry when there was no more activity. Great job! read more

I love this man. This is the second time he has come to solve my problem. He is honest, reliable, and gets the job done. I have to say he is very reasonable too. You would be lucky to have him take care of any issues at your home. I am sure he is so busy he does not need reviews. I'm sure he gets his customers from other satisfied customers he has served. Sieg has helped me with rodent problems in two homes. He was on time, thorough, and effective at trapping (no pesticide or poisons) the little critters and sealing up very nicely the areas where they gained entry. For my personal home, he made a mesh door which has been very effective for years now, and for my rental he found two areas and covered them with vent screening. He also provided four follow-up visits to be certain of a job well done. He is very nice to work with also. And he is reasonably priced. I would not think of calling anyone else! Larra R read more

Wow! If you have problems with mice or rats, do yourself a huge favor, and consult with Sieg before you sign up with anyone else! After getting estimates from two other companies that ran into the thousands, I heard about Sieg via a word-of-mouth recommendation, and he: did not charge me for a site visit, came over within a couple of days and did a thorough inspection, gave me a fair and reasonable price that saved me a small fortune, eliminated my rodent problem with a minimum of hassle and zero surprises, and sealed up our home so there'll be no repeat appearances Plus, he's a genuine, pleasant and honest old-school journeyman who knows what he's doing (25 years in business), and will do what he says he'll do without any BS or self-inflating nonsense that is all too common today. Seig was recommended to me by my real estate agent and has been an absolute blessing. Reasonable prices, easy going personality with great attention to detail. Seig was professional and installed a redwood access door to get to the crawl space area of the house. He can tell where the rats are coming in and how many we there are. He knows the business and accurately rat proofed my house. He is a one man show and does the work himself. I was very impressed with him and will keep him on to maintain the property as a vermon free zone. I am very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone. read more

I had a rat problem and I gave Sieg a call based on his yelp reviews. He lived up to his five star reviews and beyond them. I'm sure his ratings would be the top no matter how many stars you could give. He is a super nice guy and didn't make me feel like a wimp since my fear of rats could be considered over the top. He is professional and takes care of the problem as needed. He did a great job of sealing to prohibit future problems from developing. He is very reasonable in what he charges for his services. Read his five star reviews and every word written about him is the truth. Thank so much, Sieg. read more

I called Sieg to come to my new house to investigate an odor which I thought might be a dead animal. I found him to be one of the friendliest, most courteous, helpful and honest people I've encountered in a long time. He spent about 20 minutes poking around the house and didn't find any signs indicating that animals of any sort were in the house. He climbed into the crawl spaces (which are creepy and dark), up ladders, etc. And he did all of this for free. If he had really wanted to make some money off of me, he could have told me that there were critters up there and that we needed to pay for his removal services. But he did no such thing. Instead, he told me that things looked fine and that we should be fine without any sort of extermination. The best part was that Sieg was so excited when he found old items in the crawl space that the previous owners had left there. He found a sign that some kids had made, some old suit cases, a pair of ancient sunglasses and an old flag... He was so excited to share all of these finds with me as if he were on a treasure hunt. I found this really endearing -- and considered it to be a sign that he loved his job. Good guy -- good service. Highly recommended. read more

Here's a new one -- Sieg apologized to me for NOT catching any rats. He visited three or four times, set up traps, blocked entrances, explained what he was doing and why. I was, of course, delighted. My theory is the RN (Rat Network) scented him and hightailed it out of here. Sieg doesn't just dump poison, take the money and run: he studies the situation and figures out how to solve the problem, not merely treat the symptoms. So impressive. read more

When we were first buying our house it was clear that there were rodents in our crawlspace. Our realtor had used Sieg's in the past and didn't hesitate to recommend Sieg for the job. Sieg came out cleaned up and set the traps and visited our house 3 or 4 times after he set the traps to check them. He caught a rat on the first visit. Once he was convinced that the rats were evicted he covered up all the access points, so hopefully we won't be having unwanted guests anytime soon! He does a very thorough job, and though I have never used any type of exterminator service he comes when he says he'll come and I won't hesitate to use him again. read more

Can't say enough about Sieg. One of the best tradesmen I have ever used (in any category). Friendly Reliable Honest Reasonable Non-judgmental (important for this kind of need). When Sieg came for his estimate, he quickly diagnosed potential causes for my problem. He quoted a one time set up for traps and closing off holes, with five follow up visits. After three follow ups, the problem was fixed and the charges for the two remaining visits was waived. I cannot say enough about Sieg and wish all service providers were as good as him. read more

Knows what he is doing and followed up as promised. Excellent.

Sieg saved the day for us. We were hearing little running noises in the wall behind our bed for the last three days and wondered with dread whether that meant what we thought it meant...turns out yes, it did mean that we had a rat situation and I don't mean like a Trump-twitter rant type rat situation but a real one. I got a referral to Sieg and read through all the wonderful Yelp reviews then called him and emailed him. He is really busy but he emailed me back and scheduled a day to come out, climbed up near our roofline and confirmed our fears. He set up traps and the very next day my husband texted me a picture of a huge roof rat that Sieg's trap took out. I felt really bad for him but I was also relieved to be honest because I didn't feel ok sharing space in our bedroom wall. Sieg was a pleasure to work with and obviously saves the day right away. read more

Reliable. Thorough. Easy to work with. Our neighbors seem to have a rat-farm in their ivy. Sieg made our house rodent proof and did a very thorough job. I'd call him again in a heartbeat, but luckily I think he did such a good job we won't need to call him for a long time. read more

Sieg came to my rescue with my rat problem. He quickly found how they were getting into the house, and set up a plan to catch the rats (which worked) and fix the access points. Happily rat-free now! Sieg is easy to work with and just a super nice guy. Thank you, Sieg! read more

First couple visits were fine, even though they weren't really on time. After placing traps everywhere under the house, traps started getting sprung and I called them repeatedly to come check the traps and the dead rat smells, but they refuse to return our calls. I have called their cell and their office numbers. We now have flies everywhere, and dead rat smells all around and in the house. I have disposed of a few myself but there are a few places I would just rather not crawl. Maybe there is not enough money in the return visits so they aren't interested? That is just speculation of course. They could end the speculation by just returning our calls. Don't expect good follow up or follow through from this company and avoid them at all costs. read more

I called Sieg a few months after moving into my new home. The initial inspection had shown evidence (hello, droppings!) of rats in the crawl space, and I had some foundation vent covers that were damaged and bent to allow furry creatures inside. Sieg came by with one other employee and did a quick check of all my vents and the crawl space. He said that while it seemed clear raccoons and rats had been in the crawl space in the past, he did not sense that they were still there. Ever thorough, Sieg set some traps anyway and sealed up the vents in a makeshift way so that a rodent who wanted out would leave evidence of his movement. Sieg came back a few days later and found no evidence of rat or raccoon activity, so he sealed up all my vents, including rodent-proofing my dryer vent. His price is very reasonable, and he is a pleasure to work with. He is highly recommended! read more

We called Sieg for a skunk problem we had under our house in Sonoma. He and his team took care of the problem and ended up having to repair some of the heating duct work as well. Seig is the absolute best! He is smart, thorough, funny, and really cares. He's so good you might have to wait for him.

Sieg came out to our house last November/December and his team got the rats out of the crawl space under our house, and sealed up the entry points. everything was great. two weeks ago we heard some noise under the house, caught a rat, and Sieg came out a couple of days later. he found a small hole crated where the cable guy had put the cable through and fixed the hole at no additional charge over what we paid him last year. Sieg stands by his work, delivers great service with a smile, and I recommend him without hesitation. Craig read more

Take it from a 30-year veteran of the restaurant trade, rats are a formidable adversary. Sieg is a consummate professional . . . knowledgeable, attentive and kind. Our home was under siege. A colony of rats had taken-up residence in the ceiling in a space where we couldn't get to them. We were being held hostage. Sieg positioned the traps strategically and drew them out of their hiding place, then expertly sealed the holes to prevent this ever happening again. Michael M. read more

nice guy, but be advised he doesn't go up on the roof. i engaged his services, and he did catch one rat, but ultimately the issue was an access point on my roof that he could not help with. in hindsight i should have gone with someone else. read more

I would highly recommend Sieg's Abatement for anyone in need of pest control. Sieg has been doing this for 20 plus years and this experience really does show. He was quick to assess, diagnose and offer a plan to rid our house of the rat infestation that plagued our attic. After several "trapping visits" Sieg caught a total of 6 rats. Once he determined that the family had been captured, he then sealed up all of the points of entry around our house, which is something that the other outfits I had considered did not offer. Many competitors to Sieg simply charge you to trap and don't take care of sealing up the premises, which is of course essential in preventing future infestations. After countless bids and meeting with pest control companies, I am so thankful we found Sieg. He was reliable, on time, professional and his quotes for work, including sealing up our house, were actually less than his competitors. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Sieg. read more
