While out of town for work, I was in the mood for Italian food, so I stopped in this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by the bartenders Donovan and Ryan. They both served me and were great. The restaurant was intimate and dimly lit. I started with rhe Appletini and it was delicious! I then had the pinot nior. For my meal I got the seafood fra diavolo and it too was good! I enjoyed the shrimp and clams mainly, but I could of done without the lobster. All in all, I did enjoy my experience.

I randomly found this place. They said it was lobster night so that's what I had! For an appetizer I had the fried green tomatoes topped with lump crab and remoulade. Then I had the lobster with crab on top. It was delicious. It also came with a salad and bread and butter. I would definitely go back when I'm in town again.

I was visiting from Brooklyn to see my family in the area. My friend, who's a local, told me about…read morea place that makes their own pasta and how they have a great lunch. Ok I'm in, I'm Italian, homemade pasta is right up my alley. We sat down, friendly staff (young and distant), but an extremely strange setting. It was like walking into a Wayfair showroom with a pasta kitchen. The branding was a bit horrid in my opinion, but I work in that industry, so I couldn't get over the esthetic before I even got to the food. The TV "paintings" with random art were the "highlight" truly... I'm being too kind. The wedding table numbers, really were killing me in the worst way. This place was like a mishmash of identities with no real clarity of execution or strategy on how to accomplish what they're trying to be. A crash landing of ideas with no real destination. Now the food and drink! The plates were the size of a small luggage! For starters, the "fresh" bread they offered with a rancid tasting olive oil and the tiniest drop of balsamic vinegar was appalling. The calamari was decent at best... it tasted factory made, the coating was thick and it came with the tiniest portions of sauce. I want my calamari, piping hot, with a really thin coating and a ton of sauce, that's just me. The chicken cutlet was a flavorless flour-dredged slab of meat. Barely pounded out and coated in a thin breading, with no seasoning, and it was crazy big! The Gnocchi four cheese was like eating dough turds in glue. The texture was not good at all, and reminded me of undercooked packaged pasta, and weirdly overcooked all the same time... like the water wasn't boiling and they added the pasta in while it was cold. Gnocchi should be pillowy soft and should literally fall apart in the mouth and the cheese sauce should not be like hair gel stuck to the food. It's Italian food, it's supposed to be herbaceous and well seasoned, this was food for non-Italians, who think they could like Italian food if it was just a little more bland and assimilated... without all the immigrant culture, ya know?! The best portion of the dish was the non-alcoholic drink, which is saying a lot. I genuinely hate to leave a terrible impression, but I really hated this meal, and I'm shocked by the reviews. It would seem a lot of people are here for the big portions and cheap food. Not a quality food experience. Everyone's got their own taste!

I have been here three times now, each experience better than the last, which is hard to beat. Very good food, great service, a solid selection of cocktails and nonalcoholic offerings. I have had the ravioli in the signature walnut cream sauce.. delicious, rich. I've also enjoyed seafood, steak, and a bit of my husband's gluten free pasta, which was fabulous as well. The ambiance is very nice, I love that they have a space for coats, and sometimes live music. It can get a bit loud in there, not a lot of material to absorb the sound, but to me this is not a big deal as I am often engaged in conversation anyway, just a little detail to add. I enjoy our time here, and always look forward to the next. Thank you!

We were immediately greeted with warmth and genuine kindness that set the tone for the entire evening. The ambiance alone is stunning--inviting, lively, and full of energy. The staff was truly exceptional. Our waitress, Melissa, went above and beyond in every possible way. She was not only incredibly kind and attentive, but she made us feel completely comfortable and cared for all night long. On top of that, Michelle and Diaz were just as amazing--checking in on us before we even had a chance to ask for anything. The level of teamwork and attentiveness was outstanding. Despite the restaurant being packed, we never waited for a thing. We honestly felt like VIPs--like we were the only table in the room. That kind of service is rare and so appreciated. And the cherry on top? We had the best seat in the house, right next to the piano player, Paul--and wow, can that man play! He absolutely lit up the room, graciously took a request from my dad, and even played Happy Birthday for my mom. It was such a special, unforgettable moment. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Sambuca, Melissa, Michelle, Diaz, and Paul for creating such a magical night. This was an experience we'll never forget, and we cannot wait to come back again!

First the good: the food is amazing! Handmade pastas are out of this world. Entrees top notch…read more Desserts are on point. That olive cake is to die for. The bad: this point has to do with their automatic gratuity system. Nothing to do with the kitchen. I am not sure if anything over a party of 4 gets automatic tip, but it falls apart here: the bottle list. We ordered a bottle of wine. $115. Total cost with tax and gratuity is $143. That's $27 over the cost of the actual bottle. Or a 20% tip roughly. And they probably calculated the tip post tax. Had I known that I would not have ordered a bottle. Now for the arguments of "serving a bottle involves some labor that should be compensated ". Let's do the math. The cheapest bottle they have is 60$. If you were to charge gratuity and tax on this bottle it would be $76.20. That's only $16.30. Not a bad price right? Given the service of opening said bottle and pouring it. BUT... The most expensive bottle they have is $360. If you order that bottle, you will be paying an extra $97.20. That is a huge markup. And if I'm missing something, tell me how the service on a $360 bottle is different than the service on a $60 bottle. Does the server come out with a little song and dance for the more expensive one justifying an additional $97.20 on a $360 bottle of wine? Do you realize how absurd this is? My guess is that the owners don't realize the point I'm trying to make- to give them the benefit of the doubt. That is the best situation. The worst is if the owners know this, and are fleecing the customers. I'd like to believe this is not the case. To sum up: go for the food. Order wine by the glass. DO NOT order bottle service. You will be in for a nasty surprise. The average markup for A bottle of wine is 3x the amount in a restaurant. Retail my bottle was $45. I know this. And if it's $115, that's fair. After all the restaurant makes more money on liquor sales than food. I'm okay with that. But what I find reprehensible is that they charge a service fee on top of that. Which by my calculation is 20%. Therein lies the fallacy. The same 20% charge is applied to the cheapest to most expensive bottle. The effort made to open and serve said bottles are exactly the same! They don't disclose this practice to the patrons. I've run this by multiple people I know. They all say this practice is shady as hell. Enough said, go for the food. Don't get a bottle of wine.
