    Lychee martini

Came on a Saturday without a reservation and they sat us down right away. All the staff were friendly and kind. The lychee martini was ok, kind of tasted watered down and I'm not a drinker. I was very excited for the larb tartare and it tasted soo good but it was slightly frozen. The crispy pork belly pad kra pao was EXCELLENT. It was crispy, a little spicy and saucy. The duck red curry was great too and the food server recommended eating it on top of rice like they do in Thailand instead of putting the rice in the curry. That was a nice touch! The space is beautiful, very Instagramable. Saw some bday dinners going on. This was our second time and would deff go back again !

The food was delicious and would recommend. The coconut In photo had a different taste which I did not like. Overall everything was good.

4 stars for the food but dropping down to 3 for the service. Came for family dinner & Siam Thai is an incredibly cute restaurant! The host was really nice & hospitable but other staff members could use some serious work. Our waters were always running low, it was hard to find a waiter, and the person serving our food actually rolled his eyes when we asked what certain dishes were. With that being said, everyting we had here was delicious! I'm especially a fan of the noodles dishes which were all flavorful & generously portioned. We went a little overboard with ordering, but did have a chance to try a bunch of items. The papaya & mango salads were both tasty and well balanced, the green mussels curry was fragrant, pork belly was delish, and the sampler had a little bit of everything. We had to play sauce roulette though - we had no idea which was paired with each appetizer. The only thing I'd skip is the fried fish (fish in the garden) and the calamari. Neither was particularly memorable. Its a bit on the pricier side for thai food compared to Elmhurst, but the portions arent stingy. Parking is doable around this area.

Rainy Saturday evening and came across this cute place along Northern Blvd with a plethora of restaurants to offer. You go downstairs into a bamboo type decor and pop music playing in the background. Good for groups or a solo date. Staff is very nice. Street parking available, will be back to try other things My son ordered Hibiscus lemonade, very good and tart and I ordered the very berry mojito, I felt like it was a virgin/mock cocktail. Started with the Siam platter, skewers, moneybag wontons, chive cakes and forgot what the other item was called. Platter comes with 4 of each item and 4 different dipping sauces. For the main I ordered the fish in the garden, whole fried striped bass with the mango and cashew salad, delicious! My son got the crying tiger, ribeye steak, a little fatty, with sticky rice and the mango salad. They said the dishes were good for sharing but honestly one person can eat with a snack portion left over. Overall, food was good, presentation was decent and to my son's surprise they bought out coconut ice with a birthday candle. .

It's been a while since I've been to Siam Thai, but I recently came back to enjoy a holiday gathering with friends, and it was a great reminder of why this spot is so loved. The décor and ambiance haven't changed warm, cozy, and inviting and the food did not disappoint. We started with a few appetizers, including the money bag dumplings, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and generously filled, and the calamari, which was lightly fried, tender, and not greasy. We also ordered chicken satay, which was flavorful and paired perfectly with the peanut sauce. For our mains, we shared a variety of dishes, including the pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, Kana Moo Krob, and a seafood entrée from their winter menu. Everything was well prepared, full of flavor, and ideal for sharing family-style so we could sample a bit of everything. We ended the meal with the dessert sampler, which ended up being my favorite part of the night. The mango sticky rice was absolute perfection, and the mini coconut pudding was rich, creamy, and delicious. The only drawback was related to their brunch special, which allows you to add $20 to any entrée for 90 minutes of unlimited mimosas, sangria, or sake. Our server mentioned that everyone at the table is expected to participate. Thankfully, he made an exception since I'm pregnant and one of my friends has medical issues that prevent them from consuming alcohol. While we appreciated the flexibility, it would be helpful if the policy were more clearly communicated upfront in their marketing. Overall, the food, ambiance, and experience were wonderful. Siam Thai continues to be a solid spot for a festive meal and catching up with friends.

After trying their Staten Island location, I was hooked with this place. I have to say, the SI location is way better. Tried the creamy crab curry, money bag dumplings, zabb wings, pad kee mao and the green curry chicken. The appetizers were really good, especially the creamy crab curry with roti on the side. We did not like the pad kee mao and the curry as much. Definitely prefer the SI location in terms of taste.

Awesome food! Cool vibes. Ordered the CHIVE CAKE that was okay as a starter. The main we ordered was FISH IN THE GARDEN with mango salad that was amazing, pre cut and deboned so it was easy to eat. Also had the PAD KEE MAO made vegan style and it was just filled with amazing flavor. Side note I'm pregnant & have a lot of food aversions but this was the first time I walked away full and not sick after! Yay!! Wish there were more vegetarian/vegan option available on the menu. There was some that they were able to adjust but wish there was some more options for vegans so I can come back with my vegetarian husband

It pains me to give this place 4 stars because I really wanted to give it 5 because the atmosphere is top notch. But the first draw back when we walked to our seats was the overwhelming sewage smell. They might have sewer problems right now. The smell is especially awful in the bathrooms. We ordered the soft shell crab mango salad which was very tasty and refreshing. The duck red curry was also super flavorful and the duck was perfect. The basil ribeye has a lot of potential. The meat was tender but unfortunately was over seasoned. Another reason for the 4 star was because there were only 1 other table occupied but the service was not attentive at all. No water or drink refills and no checking to see how our food is. With so many Thai options within 5 mile radius, we'll probably try something else next time but this place can still be a good choice for a fancier Thai option.

A very upscale Thai place. It has great reviews. The ambiance what brought us here tonight. Let's see how their food fare. Smells good when we walked in . There was something telling us that we will have a very good time. On a Monday night, we expect not be crowded. We were quite right . We were the first dinner customers. We were welcome with a smile by the staff. Menu has good selections. Pricing is a bit higher. Serving size is shareable. The vibes is so classy. I tried their fresh coconut juice . It's been a while I had it last. It is pretty cool drinking straight from the coconut piece. The popular Thai iced tea was ordered by my companions. Thai teas always an exemplary drinks. We had pad sew, pork belly and curry for dinner. It's so tasty and delicious. The dinnerware and silverware used for tonight's dining are so adorable. It has the authentic touch. The place is a good recommendation especially for a celebration party. Added bonus- There is a secret door leading to an omakase experience!

Everything here was amazing. I wanted to kiss the chef the flavors choices that the chef decided to use for certain dishes was just out of this world. If I could live here, I would. The drinks : they do not serve hard alcohol. They just serve sake, and beer service was great. There was no wait. I would definitely return.

Came here for dinner on a weekday and loved the decor. The atmosphere feels laid-back and welcoming. We started with the market oysters and papaya salad, which were both super fresh and flavorful. We also had the beef pad kee mao and duck red curry, and everything we ordered was seriously delicious. The duck curry was the star for me, I haven't stopped thinking about it and already want to come back! Portions were generous, and I'm hoping to return with more friends so we can try even more of the menu.

Stopped at Siam Thai with my family on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty empty so the service was very fast. We ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the chicken green curry. Suffice to say, the food was delicious. I loved the decor and the music of this restaurant. The bathroom was very clean and the waitstaff were very accommodating. I would definitely come back to this location to try out more of their offerings, perhaps the dessert!

    Softshell crab mango salad
    Camille R.

Came here for Sunday lunch with the family, and honestly, we waddled out very happy. We started with the mango salad with softshell crab--tangy, sweet vinaigrette that's basically drinkable, plus crunchy, meaty softshell crab that I could have eaten as a full meal and left satisfied. Next up, pad kra prao with crispy pork belly--actually crispy, deeply flavorful with smoky basil, and had me sneaking extra bites when no one was looking. We also got the shrimp pad Thai (huge portion, perfect for sharing), packed with shrimp and peanuts. Solid, comforting, and perfect if you want something classic done well. Seafood tom yum soup was surprisingly a hit with the kids (who are not soup kids), and they even went back for refills, which says a lot about how balanced and slurpable it was. We tried the crispy shrimp too, super crispy and fun to munch on, but it got a little overshadowed by the stronger dishes. Next time, I'd order it on its own to let it shine. Roast pork came with a spicy sauce, was fatty in the best way, and definitely a winner if you love pork that's rich and tender. The place has a warm, welcoming interior with murals of peacocks and jungle animals, giving it a legit Thai vibe without feeling stuffy. I heard there's a Japanese omakase spot hidden in the back, and now I'm curious to come back just for that. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient--exactly what you want when you're corralling hungry family members. Overall, I'd happily return to try more dishes (and maybe just order that mango salad with softshell crab again to keep to myself).

For dine in last week, we tried their Mango based rum drink each and luckily made it to their Happy Hour time so was charged $8 less, a good deal. We got their Zaab Zaab wings which were good and ordered the Crab Fried Rice and Panang Curry in Beef. Crab Fried rice was pretty yum with actual chunks of crab meat while the Panang Curry tasted just okay. Hope they can work on that. I also ordered Thai iced tea which was very watery and somehow tasted like medicine, they didn't charge me for it and I appreciated the gesture. Looking forward to try them again and hoping their taste profile can be as good and consistent as Malii. Service was warm and friendly, thanks for that! :)

Our group was quite hungry as we had just walked maybe 14-16 or so miles, and I looked up the local spots around where we finished, and this lovely place popped up. We arrived pretty early for lunch, and there was already a handful of people here, but by the time we left, it was crowded. The inside has a nice design, almost reminding me of the old markets in Bangkok back when I was there. The female server we had was very friendly, giving recommendations to the people in our group who were less familiar with Thai food or helping them decide between dishes. I will note, though, that we were unaware of the lunch menu until post-meal, but that was fine with me as I left happily full. While I only had one dish and a bite of an appetizer, I would definitely go back here, and I wish it were closer, as I found this spot a gem among the many Thai spots. Someone else ordered the Curry Puffs for $10, with homemade puff pastry, ground chicken, potato, and onion with cucumber relish, as an appetizer. The dish arrived with three puffs, and I had a tiny bit of one of the parts as I wasn't sharing this dish. From the little I tasted, the puff was standard, but good, with a lightly spiced filling. The cucumber relish was slightly sweet as expected. The presentation was also nice, as there was a piece of watermelon radish as well as some sliced carrots. My main dish was the $16 Sukhothai Spicy Pork Noodle Soup with thin rice noodles, handmade pork meatballs, roasted pork, long beans, bean sprouts, peanuts, dried shrimp, and boiled egg. The dish arrived with a cracker with their logo on it, which was a fun touch, though it was soon dipped into the broth. The broth was slightly rich and quite porky as expected, and was mildly spicy. As per many other traditional Thai spots, though, they gave the usual mix of chilies and chili sauces, so soon, the spice was to my liking. The pork meatballs had a bit of bounce, and the roasted pork had good flavor. The rest of the vegetables and peanuts added a good crunch. The noodles were plentiful, and while I prefer egg noodles or thicker rice noodles found in other Thai soups, as they grab onto the broth better, they worked here. The rest of the people enjoyed their more generic dishes, ranging from green curries to Pad Thai to Pad Kee Mao/drunken noodles. I wish this place were closer, as I would definitely go back. The ratings are high, but justified.
