My first time trying the food here and I thought it was authentic style Thai Food apparently not. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and beef salad. The fried rice does not taste anything like Thai and the chunks of pineapple was sour and the beef salad beef was so dried like beef jerky with lots of onions and not enough salads. These dishes were bad in my opinion, not very happy with the outcome. Not even close to the way Thai food should taste. read more

Have always been a fan of this place in their cupertino location, this new Milpitas location did not disappoint! Best pad thai ever! It was my first time trying the crispy pork with it, and I don't think I'll ever go back. Their satay is one of the best -- big portions. Their tom yum is a classic. Their pineapple fried rice, green curry, and papaya salad is always a classic! read more

Went during their soft opening weekend. Food came out quick. You got your choice of protein for many of their dishes as well as their spice level. I went with a group and got mamas egg roll, pad kee mow with fried pork, siam station fried rice with chicken, and kapow beef all mild. Overall good quality for the high standards of the milpitas square plaza. The place was pretty busy throughout our time there and was quite noisy so definitely not a place to sit and chat. Will revisit to try their curry one day. read more

Finally decided to try this location. So glad that they opened one closer to my house. I like the food, but Cupertino is kinda far. To me they have some of the best Pad Thai. The flavor is great, and the portions are big. The parking is better, but the lines to get in are still long. Service is quick, they give you a couple of minutes after seating, then take your order. Food comes out soon after. I'm trying to eat more vegetables and less starch. So I ordered something different today We got the broccoli and beef, and house fried rice. The beef today was a little chewy. I've had it at the other location and it tasted better read more

Heard about the second location that opened in Milpitas and had to check it out. This location definitely tastes better and balanced compared to the cupertino location. Everything was delicious, except I felt the tom yum soup was lacking in flavor and just tasted sour. Servers are very attentive and pleasant; Sheri was wonderful at attending our table. I recommend trying this place out for lunch or dinner! Oh and you're able to join the waitlist in person by putting your name down, thankfully we only had to wait 20 mins to be seated. read more

Midweek dinner date night here. Between 3.5-3.75 stars. Almost a full house on a Wednesday night! Tried their pad thai with chicken and Penang curry with the crispy pork. Pad Thai was more tomato-sauced & saltier than what I prefer (and they forgot to add peanuts but brought it out for us in a cup.) Curry was spicier than what hubs preferred even at "mild" (but he has lower spice tolerance). Portions were large and filling. Crispy pork was a nice contrast to the usual boiled pork in curry. Service was generally attentive until toward the end when waiting for bill & getting containers for leftovers. We'd return to try more menu items. read more

We were so excited to find out that our favorite thai restaurant in Cupertino opened in Milpitas! Soooo much closer to us! Food is just as amazing and the service was so quick and attentive. The wait on a Wednesday was only 5 minutes. We assumed it would be longer seeing the place was packed and at the Cupertino location, we usually wait a while for a table, so we walked around 99 Ranch to buy some time. The ambiance is very modern and clean as well. The prices are unbeatable compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. Reasonable prices AND the best quality Thai food? This will definitely be a regular spot for us :) read more

Siam Station - Mango Sticky Rice - Thai Near Me - Milpitas, California

This was a solid, solid Thai spot for the Bay Area suburbs - the food was perfectly spiced for our order (medium), not too salty or sweet, and came out super quickly given how busy it was. Service was also quick and attentive, but we never felt rushed to eat. I particularly loved the Thai lemon tea - it wasn't too sweet and a super refreshing with my food. We ordered pad woon sen, kapow with tofu, and poh tak soup. The poh tak was by far the highlight for the meal - it was nice and tangy, and the spice really built nicely to a fiery finish. If there was one complaint I had, it was that it is EXTREMELY loud in there. Mostly a function of the flooring and furniture they decided to use, but we came when it was busy, and between all the people talking and moving around, my party had to shout at each other just to have a conversation, and I left with my ears ringing. Hopefully if they stick around here, they invest in some better sound dampening panels to help absorb the noise so it makes the environment feel less stressful. read more

Service is quick, friendly and very attentive. The food is amazing and the portion is enough for an individual or family style. The inside is spacious with ample space between each table. We got the Pad Thai with Crispy Pork, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Pineapple Fried Rice, Basil Fried Rice, Tom Yum Soup. Seafood Soup, Papaya Salad and Chicken Satay. All the dishes were amazing and definitely recommend to come and try the dishes. Do be sure to call out what your heat level is as it comes to the table as medium. read more

i've been to the cupertino location multiple times and have ordered a variety of dishes, but my most recent visit to their milpitas location for soft opening hit different! this was my first time trying the boat noodles and it was a 5/5. i would say it tastes similar to cambodian kathiew or a more flavorful version of pho. i would highly recommend getting this and look forward to ordering it again. the pad thai and khao soi were good, but i thought bought could use some lemon or lime to cut through the sweetness / richness. i like ordering all three dishes to get variety in my meal as each dish is very flavorful. overall a really smooth soft opening, wait time was reasonable on a saturday night and the servers were very fast and helpful. so happy this location opened up closer to me! read more

This is a collective review of my four visits. The first three were excellent. great portions and excellent customer service. The reason I'm writing, though, is my most recent visit on a weekday evening. We arrived at 8 PM. It was busy, so we put our name on the tablet and it estimated about a 25-minute wait. We waited in our car across from the restaurant. Around 8:40c we started wondering why it was taking so long, since we'd never received a text. When we walked in, they said they'd already called our name and were no longer seating new customers. They still sat us, but the meal that followed was a letdown. We ordered the basil eggplant and the green curry. The eggplant had noticeably less meat than the other times we'd ordered it. The green curry had only four prawns and very few vegetables, it was easily 90% liquid, 10% shrimp and veggies. I couldn't believe the difference. It was hard not to wonder whether the kitchen skimped because we'd "come in late." And if the Yelp waitlist isn't going to ping our phones, what's the point of using it? To top it off, the next day we both had stomach issues. I can't say for certain what caused it, but after everything else, it was hard not to connect the dots. I still plan to go back but this experience was unacceptable. read more

MUST KNOW: They will tell you to sit anywhere. They will only come to you if you signal for them - even if it's as simple as taking your order. Delicious food. Great location. Great service - once you signal for it. Would come back again. read more

Pad see ew was cooked really well, but the beef was not good. Maybe vegetarian would be better. Tofu Khao Soi was really good. The eggrolls were yummy too. I would come back again, maybe shrimp or vegetarian next time. The beef does not taste good and my husband tried chicken before and said it was dry. read more

Good value. Love the prices here. I think of this place as a Chinese version of Thai stir fry. The dishes don't necessarily taste like what you would expect of a Thai restaurant but still uniquely flavorful and inexpensive. If you are Thai or have family coming to visit from Thailand, please don't pitch this restaurant to them as authentic Thai. It will not go well. It is the equivalent of you trying to tell your first generation Chinese parents that Chef Chu is the best Chinese restaurant in Mountain View when the patrons there are mostly non-Chinese and they serve Chinese food that appeals to the American palette. This Thai restaurant appeals more to the Chinese palette. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It is very popular, and since it's strategically located in a Chinese shopping complex, it offers a nice variety to the selection of cuisines available here as most patrons in this shopping plaza are Chinese. Staff are very friendly. The restaurant is quite busy. It's new to Milpitas. It's clean and organized inside. I've been to the Cupertino location and I would say the flavors are comparable. Located in the Ranch 99 plaza. Large parking lot shared with other businesses. Also parking spaces are available on the street and there's an overflow lot behind the complex. read more

Came here during Mother's Day weekend and the restaurant was definitely packed , we waited about 40 minutes for a table , but the staff was incredibly kind, organized, and efficient the entire time. Once we were seated, the food came out in about 7 minutes even though we ordered around 7 different dishes, which was impressive. We ordered the beef salad, orange chicken, Penang curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, pineapple fried rice, and Tom Yum soup. Everything was very tasty and delicious overall. The only dish that could've used a little more flavor was the pineapple fried rice, but everything else was excellent. The $5 Singha beers were also a nice bonus. The ambiance is simple but comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the food. I honestly would've left this review regardless, but the complimentary mango sticky rice was definitely the cherry on top. Thank you for a great Mother's Day weekend dinner! read more

We ordered papaya salad, crab fried rice and basil chicken. Food was good! The papaya salad was so refreshingly good! The crab fried rice was needing more crab. I think they should rename the dish "fried rice topped with scrambled eggs with a little bit of crab." But the rice was tasty so it's still good! We will come back again. Sorry, no food pics coz I was hungry so I forgot to take pictures. read more

We came by after hearing about the new location. There was a pretty long waitlist, but it moved quickly and the Yelp notification system made it easy to keep track of your place in line. Had lunch at Siam Station recently and had a really solid experience. They're currently in their soft opening phase, and since I rolled in right after the lunch rush, I was seated immediately with no wait. What we grabbed: * Satay Chicken: Super tender and the peanut sauce was delicious. Bummer that it did not arrive until the end of the meal. * Tom Yum Soup: This had a nice kick (spice level medium) It was super fresh, aromatic, and exactly the kind of "spicy and sour" you want from a good Tom Yum. * Pad Thai: Really well done. The noodles weren't mushy at all, and the flavor was balanced. Will be adding this spot to the lunch rotation. read more

Everything was so delish! We got the following items: tom yum soup, crab fried rice, string beans with crispy pork, pad thai, pad see ew, and panang curry. All the dishes were so flavorful! The restaurant is clean and decently sized. I anticipate there will be a wait soon as they continue to welcome customers following their opening this week. The crispy pork as a protein is so yummy! Highly recommend! Special shout out to Winston! He was an amazing server, so attentive and welcoming. Great experience, we'll definitely be back! Happy that this is now in Milpitas! read more

The parking lot is crazy busy, so give yourself time to park because the restaurant is in a busy strip mall with lots of other restaurants and shops, especially if you're coming here on a weekend. Hubby and I came here after dropping the teenagers at the Great Mall on a Friday. The ambiance is a loud, family one, so definitely not a place for a quiet conversation. Tables are pretty close. I like that their wait list is an ipad at the front door where you add your name and number yourself and you get a text when your table is ready. The staff work well together, like a well oiled machine. They're pretty quick and efficient. We ordered the pad see eww with crispy beef, which came out fast and the hot. The beef was crispy and I loved the crunch. It gave a nice texture to the noodle dish. We also ordered the Tom Yum noodles, which to our surprise turned out to be a noodle soup dish instead of a stir fry noodle dish, even though it was under the noodle section. It was very good and flavorful though. We also ordered the Poh Tak soup which was not as flavorful or had as much seafood as it described on the menu. For dessert, we ordered the sweet crispy roti which consisted of flat roti pieces drizzled with condensed milk. The Thai milk teas were delicious though. They're super busy and if you need something, you do need to raise your hand to get their attention. Looks like a place ran by young folks, but they know what they're doing to keep the place running. Just not super attentive on service. Don't expect them to consistently check on you. And their steel water carafes don't keep the water cold, oddly. I would come back to try their other dishes. read more

I love Siam Station. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. We usually go to the Cupertino location so was very happy to see they opened another location in Milpitas and knew we had to try it out! We always get similar things and this location was also SOLID! We love their crispy pork. We got the pad Thai with crispy pork, panang curry beef, pad see ew with crispy pork, tom yum fried rice with shrimp and prik king with crispy pork. We only had one issue in that the pad see ew was a bit overcooked and had a burnt taste but they fixed it for us and make a new one which we greatly appreciated. This location was just as good and closer to home. The service was good. Very clean and spacious. Parking was a breeze even though it was a weekend. We will definitely be back. The waitlist is efficient. Sign in on the pad. Inside was clean and new. We ordered the Larb salad, Mama's egg rolls and Beed Pad Thai. The salad and egg rolls were yummy. The pad Thai had great flavor however the beef cubes were hard to chew. Maybe it needs to be cut thinner not cubes. It was set aside on the plate. The manager came and apologized and asked if we wanted to remake the plate. We declined and ate the noodles. He offered a discount on that plate. Next time we'll get tofu or shrimp pad thai. We ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert. Yes more please! I definitely would come back again. read more

It's very busy on the weekend and long wait to be seated. However, the service was good and the ambiance was nice. So far I've tried their tom yum soup, yellow curry, and mango sticky rice. Their Thai food tasted a little bit different than the others. Their taste breaks my stereotype, which impressed me a lot. Thai Tea - tea flavor is more strong and less sweet. Pa Thai - sauce base is sweeter, and it has spicy level to choose. I picked mild, that you still can feel the hot (not too much though). I probably try medium next time. Chicken Stay - way larger and thicker compares to other. read more

Foods was excellent and services was okay. I came here on Friday night and the waited was about 15 minutes at 5:3PM for a party of 6. By the time they seated us, the waited are much longer. Even though it was a full house, the foods came out quickly which was excellent as I was hungry! It is located in Ranch 99 plaza with so many restaurants and drinks surrounding. We ordered the pad see ew and it was good, prefect textured and flavors. The yellow curry with crispy pork was good as the pork was crispy. The papaya salad was very refreshment and flavors as salty, sweet, sour and spicy all combined together which that is how Thai foods are made. The crab fried rice was okay. The pad Thai was a little sweet for me as I ask more lemon and it was prefect. I likes the spices level here as I love my foods spicy and it meet my expectations. Thai foods are supposed to be spicy and sour, and they did a great job combining this two elements on their dishes. I will definitely be back here if I do crave for Thai foods. read more

It seemed that I ate Chinese food in this Thai restaurant. I wasn't impressed with either the food presentation and the flavor was bold but it was also salty for my taste. The crab fried rice had its flavor but there wasn't any crabs. The 2nd meal had chicken on top of steamed veggies was that really Thai food style? I had same meal displayed in a Chinese restaurant I been too before. The pad Thai had good flavor but I didn't expect crispy pork would be Chinese sausage?? I was expecting thin sliced pork meat -crispy but was disappointed. That's it for me... there is a Thai restaurant in Warms Spring best place I found. The ambience and the food was delicious. I don't want to come here and spend ... I love Thai food but the ambience wasn't there nor the food. Sorry Service was ok only 1 guy serving many tables. read more

This new location just opened and has vegetarian options, so I watched their reviews during the first weeks. They've gotten a couple hundred reviews basically overnight which makes me think they paid for fake reviews. Sifting through looking for ones that seem real, you'll want to skip the reviews from people who haven't posted any reviews previously. The food was solidly ok--almost there but not quite right. Normally I love having leftovers because they're so easy and convenient, but we found ourselves increasingly uninterested in eating the food as the days went by and we had them again and again. Pad woon sen w/tofu non-spicy: too salty and oily Chinese broccoli w/tofu non-spicy: broccoli was bitter Eggplant basil w/vegetables non-spicy: too sweet and oily Ordering on Doordash adds a lot of extra cost compared with picking it up yourself, so order through their website for pickup if you can. "Mixed vegetables" as the "meat" option includes mushrooms. Tofu was odd texture. read more

Came here for dinner on a weeknight and it wasn't packed, but it got busy throughout our service. We got the dirty Thai tea, pineapple chicken fried rice, chicken satay and beef pad see ew. The servings were huge. The chicken satay were the chunkiest skewers I've ever seen and could easily be an entree not appetizer. The pineapple fried rice was flavorful and had good portions of chicken. I liked the different textures and flavors the raisins and cashews added to the rice. The pad see ew noodles were chewy and soaked up the seasoning. The dirty Thai was refreshing and gave off lemonade flavor. I asked the server what citrus was used and it was lime juice. Service was great, except for when it seemed like they were rushing us out. There was a small crowd outside but there were also several empty tables. Bathrooms were clean and unisex, but I was still caught me off guard when I saw the urinal inside. read more

We were really excited to try this restaurant out because we've heard amazing things. We came around 2 on Friday of a holiday weekend and had a small wait, but the restaurant was completely full and very busy. It has by far one of the largest portions I've seen at a Thai restaurant, and the sizes are great for family style. The chicken satay was a bit chewy and a bit flavorless because the spices really didn't penetrate. I think some of the flavor for the Penang curry sunk to the bottom, because my second serving was delicious. We really enjoyed the pad kee mao and that was definitely the highlight for us. It's a really good option for vegetarians because we've found some places still include fish oil, but they were really explicit about what could be made without it and with. read more

Wow! Amazing food! I'm glad Siam Station opened in Milpitas! I've always heard good things about the Cupertino location but never had a chance to try. I ordered the medium spicy Pad Thai with prawns and it was perfect! The noodles were coated with the delicious sweet and spicy sauce and the prawns were plump and fresh. Medium spicy was quite spicy so be warned if you go hotter. The choice of protein options for only $1 more is a must. I'll try the chicken or beef next time. The server was friendly and provided quick service. The ambiance was nice too and the restaurant can seat quite a bit of people.
