Soooo impressed with Lang Nuong!! They have a very extensive menu (like literally every Vietnamese dish you can think of, besides pho and such), but every dish we tried were done so well! Food was so good that we all forgot to take any pictures haha Came on Sunday around 5:30 and it was a pretty long wait, but understandable since they're still new and it's the weekend. Despite the restaurant being packed, service was good. We were checked on a few times and water was constantly being refilled without having to ask. Everything we tried: - banh khot: I usually don't care for banh khot and prefer banh xeo, but these were actually really good! It's more coconutty than I'm used to, but not in a bad way, and it didn't feel heavy. Would get again! - mango salad w/ cuttlefish: AMAZING! I could probably eat this whole thing myself. Flavor was perfect and I loved the texture of the kelp noodle. - bo nhung dam: This was good, but nothing special to me. Only thing is, I guess this place used to be long men bay hotpot, so they were reusing the hotpot pot for the broth. The pot was huge and really deep. I find it unnecessary and inconvenient to cook. Especially you don't need a lot of broth for bo nhung dam. Kind of had to stand up to cook properly. - fried rice w/ crab meat & soft shell crab: Another dish that I will be coming back for! The only thing that threw me off was the crab meat was kinda cold while the rice was piping hot. - ca nuong da gion: Their house special and it definitely did not disappoint! Ốc (2/5): hit or miss, not fresh, only 1 type of oc that were worth eating again, ốc hương nướng muối I believe. Mì xào tôm hùm XO Sauce (3/5): sauce is ok, it's thick noodle and not thin egg noodle which takes away how mì xào should be. Cá nướng da giòn (3/5) skin is not crunchy but HARD, would break teeth. Good portion but fish is also a hit or miss cause some fish has the grassy fishy taste. Gỏi (3/5): mostly consist of hành tây, expensive for what it is. Bánh khọt (4/5): crunchy layer, soft inside, delicous banh khot with hefty price tag: 6 small pieces for $17 is pretty crazy. Lẩu: all lau soup are on the saltier side for me, it's alright but nothing special. Good for big parties, nice crowded place, remind me of loud crowded Viet restaurants in vietnam. This place is delicious & flavorful! We ordered a lot & I was hungry so I only have one picture. Everything came out delicious & fresh. I love their option of a hot grill with the beef & calamari. Beef is so tender & melts in your mouth. Their egg drop fish soup is fire as well, flavorful & cooked to perfection. I love the fresh veggies that came with the egg rolls (a lot of places would only give you a piece of lettuce & fish sauce with them), as well as with the hot pots & the grilled meats. Also, their menu is pretty impressive with a lot of different things to choose from. So why only 4 stars? The Bo Luc Lac Garlic Noodles were a stand out dish for me. On the greasy side, but very flavorful. Incredibly tender filet mignon perfectly seasoned and tossed in the noodles. Saw a video on tiktok that this place had recently opened in Vietnam town. The food looked really good so we decided to check them out for dinner on a Friday. We should have guessed that since it was a new restaurant, there would be a long wait. When we got there, we went up to the podium and asked them how long the wait would be for two people, and the guy mentioned it would be about 20-30 minutes. We did decide to wait and had our name put on a list along with our phone number. Once a table is ready for you, they call your phone number to let you know you can come in. We actually had timed our way and we did end up waiting a little more than 40 minutes for a table. I have been here a 2nd time for a late lunch on a Saturday and there was no wait. They have a really big menu with a lot of different types of entrees! One thing I noticed was that they don't really have a lot of Rice Plate options. It also seems like the popular items are the DIY Rice Paper Wrapping and the BBQ at Your Table. We did see a lot of larger parties ordering from these menus. I've only been here twice so far and I've ordered the same thing both times and they were slightly different each time. I ordered the "Five Spice Pan Seared Cornish Hen with Garlic Noodles" and the first time I had it, the garlic noodles were just okay. It was more of a very flavorful chow mein, but I wouldn't call it garlic noodles. The 2nd time I had it, it was a little better but I still wouldn't consider it garlic noodles. Some other dishes we've ordered were the Shaken Beef with Garlic Noodles, Dino Rib Supreme with Kimchi Fried Rice Korean Style, and Crispy Half-Moon Crepe with Pork and Shrimp. The Shaken Beef was also really good! The meat was very soft and well seasoned. The Dino rib was good as well, it seems like it was marinated similar to a galbi. The crepe (banh xeo) was pretty good too, but the banh xeo was a little too sweet. Overall, we really enjoyed coming here! The food is a little on the pricier side but is reasonable since the food is really good. I would just really suggest having more rice plate options or have an option to substitute noodles for rice. read more

Wow wow wow, saw the sign for this place opening and was super impressed. We came on a Saturday night which was super busy for a party of 6 and waited around an hour before being seated. The food came out super fast: I was quite impressed with all the dishes we got and none of it lacked any flavor. Looking for vietnamese seafood, this place does it right! I believe they took over a hotpot place so they have really big tables with a bunsen burner in the middle and funny enough still use thier utensils and dishware. I definitely come here with a large group so you can try a lot of things on thier menu. I came with three other people and we were able to try a decent amount of. items. We had a clam salad, soft shell crab, shrimp balls, and a catfish sweet and sour soup. All were delicious and you could tell they were made with fresh ingredients! Had an amazing experience here! This location used to be a Chinese hot pot restaurant, but it has now been replaced by a Vietnamese restaurant. Boy was I lucky to give this place a try because we found one of the best lobster dishes I've had in a while. We came on a Friday around 8pm and the restaurant was pretty busy, but only waited about 10 minutes. Here is my take. Food (4.5 stars) * The salt & pepper lobster over fried sticky rice was the star of the meal. The lobster was fresh and they cut the shell in all the right places, so it was surprisingly easy to eat without fighting your way into all the crevices. The lobster sits over this slightly sticky fried rice with crispy pieces of garlic everywhere. When you get a bite of lobster, rice and one of those crispy chunks of garlic together...wow! The rice is a little oily, but it's delicious. At around $70, it's definitely not cheap, but you're getting fresh lobster and this is a dish I would absolutely order again. (5 stars) * Shaking beef with garlic noodles was also excellent. You get big chunks of beef cooked around medium with a good portion of meat. One of my kids really liked the garlic noodles while the other preferred eating the beef with plain rice. At around $27, it's a little pricey, but still a very good dish. (4 stars) ~ Banh xeo was good with plenty of meat and shrimp inside. The crepe itself was thin and really crispy, and you get plenty of fresh lettuce and Vietnamese herbs to eat with it. At $17, the price is reasonable, although the portion is smaller than some other banh xeo I've had. It was also kind of an awkward dish with everything else we ordered since I was pretty much the only one eating it! My wife nibbled on some and my kids wanted nothing to do with it. (3.5 stars) Service/Ambiance (4.5 stars) * We came around 8pm on a Friday and the restaurant was busy, but we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. * Our server seemed pretty busy but kept coming back to check on us. Our water glasses were always full, which I definitely notice and appreciate. * The restaurant has a nice modern look. You can still see the hot pot setup built into each table from the previous restaurant. I'm assuming they use these for Vietnamese hot pot now, which gives us something else to try next time. * Restroom was very clean. When I see a restaurant taking care of its restroom, that's usually a pretty good indication they're taking care of the rest of the place too. This place really impressed me. I think it's perfect for a party of 4-5 because you can order several dishes to share, especially that lobster. It's not a cheap meal, but I don't mind paying more when the food delivers. That salt & pepper lobster over fried sticky rice alone is enough to bring me back. Next time we'll have to try their Vietnamese hot pot! read more

Saw the buzz around this restaurant and decided to stop by Saturday night around 6:00pm for dinner. It was just my husband and I but the restaurant was bustling with large parties. The owner let us know it would be around a 25 min + wait but we ended up waiting for over an hour. I didn't fault him though since it is hard to gauge the flow especially during soft opening. By the time our table was almost ready, he was quoting a 1 + hour wait regardless of party size. Business is good :) The owner was super nice and he let us know he would rush our food order so we wouldn't have to wait longer. He kept his promise! We ordered the beef, calamari, and shrimp table top grill. I love how they marinated the proteins with lemongrass. The raw (veggies) were fresh and the mam nem sauce was heavy on the mam flavor and delicious. ($45) Also got an order of the mango salad with salt/chili grilled squid. So fresh and delicious!! ($25) I also couldn't resist ordering the Hong Kong style salt/pepper/garlic crab fried rice but my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! We ended up taking this home for dinner the next night! As you can see by the picture, it was super fresh and flavorful! ($48 seasonal price) Service was absolutely amazing, especially for a viet restaurant (if ya know ya know lol!). Had their Dino Rib with Garlic Noodle, Five Spice Cornish Hen with Garlic Noodles and Banh Xeo Land Nuong. Their Banh Xeo crepe was unique. It was like eating pandan waffle but savory; had coconut flavor and somehow pandan taste too. Crepe had nice texture; was thin and crispy on the edges and outside. It did not have that cornstarch aftertaste nor the wet pancake texture. It came with shrimp and slices of pork along with different herbs (basil, cilantro, parilla, mint) , pickled carrots and lettuce leaves to wrap everything in. The sauce it came with was sweet nuoc mam (fish sauce) but flavored with lemon grass. The mixture of flavors just came together and created a complex taste of sweet, salty, citrusy and umami. BEST banh Xeo I've had and I don't even like banh xeo. The Dino Rib had short rib meat; same meat used in Korean Galbi. The meat was beefy, soy sauce and peppery flavor with a hint of sweet. Good portion of meat in the dish. Garlic noodles were also good; garlicky sweet and salty. The Cornish Hen was a bit dry. It had sweet and five spice flavor. Came with the same the same garlic noodle. Lemon Soda was also good. It tasted better than a regular lemonade. It reminds me of calamansi juice which tasted like lime and orange mixed together. I had dinner here last Friday with a couple of friends and it was tasty! There was quite a wait when we went, I think it was about 45+ minutes but given it was Friday and dinner time. While waiting for our table, my friends and I looked over the menu and it was very extensive. There were so many dishes we wanted to try. We ordered the following: Food: Mango Salad with Grilled Cuttlefish - 4/5 good amount of cuttlefish and a lot of mango Banh Khot - 5/5 I am surprised by how much I enjoyed the banh khot here. It was crispy yet soft and creamy and had a good size shrimp Salted Egg Spotted Babylonia Snails + Toasted Baguette 2/5 - This was the only dish I did not like. The snails taste frozen as I know you don't get fresh ones here but I did not like the sauce. Snails in Spicy Coconut Sauce 5/5 - My all time favorite snail dish. I will always order this if I see it on the menu. The coconut sauce is on the sweeter side here. Banh Hoi with Bo La Lop 5/5 - I didn't care much for the banh hoi but the bo la lop were flavorful and juicy! Bo Nuong Vi (beef and calamari) - 3/5 - Personally I would not order this at a restaurant but we were with friends who wanted to eat this. The calamari rings made it hard to bite through the spring roll. I prefer thicker strips so we are not overcooking them but again that is my preference. The marinated was nice but this dish was missing the butter. Mam Nam Sauce 5/5 - Let's take a moment to talk about the sauce that was severed with the bo nuong vi. It was perfectly balance, sweet, salty and pungent without being fishy. It taste exactly like how my mom makes her sauce. Very tasty! We walked by this restaurant near the claw machines and decided to come back and give it a try. We came for lunch on a Sunday during the World Cup and were seated right away. We were a little surprised there weren't any TVs to watch the games though. The restaurant and menu reminded me of Saigon Kitchen, and I later found out it's owned by the former owner, so I'm guessing they relocated here. They also had a 10% grand opening promo, which was a nice bonus. We ended up ordering way too much food but also finishing it all The space is a little smaller, but it's more modern, and I loved that the tables have built-in BBQ grills in the center. Everything we ordered was delicious! Our absolute favorite was the mango salad topped with fried fish, literally chef's kiss. The salt and pepper squid was also amazing. We also tried one of their most popular dishes, the DIY combo spring rolls with beef, squid, and shrimp, where you cook everything yourself. It was fun, fresh, and so tasty. You can tell that she doesn't cook simply to run a business, she cooks because she genuinely loves cooking and loves making people happy through her food. The service is top notch, they gave us extra peppers, veggies, rice paper per our request. The food was amazing, my wife kept saying it remind her of Saigon. Friday was my son's birthday, and since he loves Vietnamese food, I searched Yelp for the highest-rated new restaurants. That's how we discovered Làng Nướng, which had just celebrated its soft opening less than a week ago. We ordered the grilled crispy fish, lobster with garlic butter noodles, and bánh hỏi bò lá lốt. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The grilled fish had incredibly crispy skin while remaining moist and flavorful inside. The lobster with garlic butter noodles was rich, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. The bánh hỏi bò lá lốt was fresh, authentic, and perfectly seasoned. The service was impressively fast and attentive. Even though the restaurant was busy with its soft opening, we never felt rushed or had to wait long for our food. The staff was warm, welcoming, and made our celebration even more enjoyable. The portions were very generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. There were four of us, and we still had plenty left to take home. For a restaurant that's only been open for a few days, Làng Nướng has made an outstanding first impression.
