    Vermicelli Bowl (Combo)
    John L.

Pho Now has been on my must try list for a while now. Since I had some pho the other day, I got a vermicelli bowl. I got the combo because I wanted to try the egg rolls. This was a good size portion and everything was fresh. The shrimp were huge! I enjoyed the fun vibe of this restaurant and I had great customer service. Looking forward to going back soon to order a bowl of pho.

AMAZING PHO SPOT!!! If this is your first time at Pho Now, be prepared to be WOWed like I was. Enormous portions (size Large pho lives up to its name) and super yummy and fresh ingredients. I opted for the "wok-fried filet mignon" pho and it was as unique as it sounds. Small pieces of wok-seared garlic and filet swam all over the steaming hot and flavorful broth. I've never had anything like it. Easy 5/5 stars for Pho Now. Parking was a breeze (same parking lot as ChaCha Sushi, Tastea, and Lucky supermarket). Service was excellent and friendly. Shoutout to our server, Trang, who made excellent recommendations!! No time to wait...go to Pho Now...NOW!!!!

Im almost never, ever left speechless... Today,Monday, April 21st during lunch I was rendered speechless, left completely satiated and beyond satisfied...from the warm service, cleanliness, huge portions, quality of food and lovely soft jazzy house music playing in the background! We started with the veggie egg rolls which we wrapped in the crispy green leaf lettuce and mint. They were incredibly delightful despite having no meat. My friend doesn't eat pork so I settled but definitely wasn't disappointed!!! She got the wok seared beef pho #3. I got the B.1 vermecelli bowl. Both were A1 quality and quantity! We found our new favorite! Many thanks to the staff and chefs!

The kumquat iced tea wasn't for me since it had a strong floral, perfume like aftertaste. The pho dac biet was also okay, the broth had a strong herbal flavorful and aroma that I wasn't a fan of. My favorite were the spring rolls. They were fresh and tasty.

We were seated and greeted right away upon entering the restaurant. They have an extensive menu. We ordered the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter and the Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Rolls With Vermicelli. The waitress gave us a complimentary appetizer. It consisted of Egg Rolls and a Fresh Shrimp Roll. The Grilled Pork, Shrimp, Egg Over Rice On A Sizzling Platter was still sizzling when it got to our table. The Grilled Pork on both entrees were tender and flavorful. The Grilled Shrimp wasn't overcooked. The Egg Rolls were crispy and crunchy on the outside. The prices were fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We were surprised with the free appetizer. We will definitely be back to try their Pho.

Tried a new pho place for us. Friendly service. Even by the robot delivering your beverages. Very clean establishment. Love the decor. We ordered the beef pho (large) And sizzling rice with pork chop and shrimp. For appetizer: spring rolls. Fresh and tasty! We both enjoyed our dishes. Definitely will return.

Pho Now is hands down our favorite spot for pho in San Jose. I love coming here with my family--it's close to home, super convenient, and always a great experience. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes you get. The pho is consistently delicious, with rich, flavorful broth and fresh ingredients every time. It honestly tastes like the best pho in San Jose to us. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's a perfect place for a casual meal with family. Highly recommend if you're looking for great pho without breaking the bank!

We have been thinking about this place ever since our last visit.. Coming back today, it was exactly how we remembered it! We couldn't even bring ourselves to try anything else and ended up ordering the same thing again. The pho broth was still incredibly rich and the filet mignon was just as tender as last time. The nem nuong cuon and the iced coffee were also just as spot-on. It's rare to find a spot that stays this consistent, and we left feeling very satisfied. Service was also consistent, friendly, and fast!! So glad to confirm this place is officially a favorite

Large #1 with pickled onions and an iced coffee

I was the first customer here on a Saturday morning right when they opened at 10, and had a great meal. I ordered fewer dishes than I'd normally eat, but that turned out to be a good thing. I had a large #1 with raw onions and a no-milk iced coffee. I'm not sure if the pictures do it justice, but this was almost a comically large bowl. I typically have a big appetite, but this was ridiculous. A mountain of noodles, all the meats, a ton of soup... I have literally never seen such a large bowl of pho besides eating challenges. $19 isn't cheap but for this quantity and quality it's kind of a bargain. And as for quality, this place delivered. Complex and rich broth, perfectly chewy noodles, all the meats and tendon and tripe exactly right. I have no notes other than I didn't quite finish the broth because I just simply ran out of room. Shameful, I know, I hate wasting food but there just wasn't any way I was finishing. Normally I'm against adding condiments like hoisin and ESPECIALLY sriracha to pho as I think it ruins the flavor, but I did experiment with adding a very small (like a teaspoon or less) of fish sauce and I did find that it added a pleasant little something to the broth. Herbs don't count of course, I guess if I was nitpicking they could have been more generous with those. Although it just might be that the bowl is so comically large that it makes a normal amount of herbs seem insufficient by comparison. I had a dining companion who had the #14 Kid Pho with well done brisket, and pronounced it "the best pho ever". And keeping with their portion size, it wasn't that much smaller than what I'd consider a normal adult portion. So I guess one tip is come hungry and under-order because they are not messing around with the portion sizes. When I do come back I'd also like to try a vermicelli bowl and some of the appetizers, they look delicious. Just not combined with the pool of pho, unless I was splitting it. The coffee I had was great, strong and not too sweet. Oh and the service was also very nice, we were quickly seated and they checked on me and my slow-eating companion many times. Inside it's very clean and bright, with high ceilings and music playing. Not a bad place to linger while you attempt to eat 5 lbs of pho.

Upon entering, you're welcomed by an eccentric collection of trinkets. An often looked over necessity for an authentic and homey Asian feel. The servers were very warm and helpful, they also use the serving bots that's recently often found in pho restaurants. I ordered that shrimp and egg roll vermicelli bowl. It came with a hefty serving and the shrimp and egg roll tasted incredible. The rest, however, were okay. I personally wasn't a fan of the sauce they provided. I felt like they used too much chili that it overtook the other ingredients, flavor-wise. My friends all enjoyed the phos they ordered and the garlic fries my friend ordered was extra nice and crispy. Overall a good experience.

I got a large bowl of pho tai and it was very flavorful! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very spacious and allows big parties! Overall would come back again!

If you have not tried this place, you should. This place has such good food. I love the Pho. They also have good rice dishes. The prices are good and so is the service. They have a little robot that drops off the water and the food. I like the decor in the restaurant. I enjoy watching the cooking on the TVs throughout the dining area.

Thank you to my bro and his fam for treating us out to some Mother's Day noods!!!…read more My bro and his family are massive fans of Kali Noodles + Tea Bar. Even with them moving out to the East Bay, they make periodic drives just to enjoy what KN has to offer. I've had one dining experience here previously and was not impressed. This lead to not returning. Fast forward 2.5 years or so, here I was again. Our large party of 9 arrived at opening hours and the owners were so very welcoming. The restaurant was clean and the condiments were in tip top shape. Our family's order was massive. We started the meal with xiu mai [Vietnamese pork meat balls] and Chinese donut sticks. This then continued with mi do bien, filet mignon and beef ball pho, & a variety of nam vang noodle versions. The great thing about Kali Noodles are the multiple options of noodles they provide. There are a number of combinations that could be made with the 6 offerings. The food was surprisingly really good- so much better than what my first visit was. The bowls were presented neatly but plated in a way where the large chunks of lettuce made the bowls seem a lot more fuller that it really was. The noodle soups also consisted a lot more broth than noodles. Having said that, the egg noodles are really really good!! The restaurant cooks them perfectly- chewy with a slight bite that keeps you wanting more and more. Hu tieu dai was unfortunately too mushy in texture for my liking. 4 stars overall. Customer service from the owners were exceptional. They were attentive to each person's order and were so welcoming. The food was good but maximize the deliciousness by strictly going for the thin egg noodles. You will not be disappointed and this recommendation is coming from a person who typically steers clear of this. I'd happily return.
