This is a new location of the local favorite Leung Noodle over at the Little Saigon area in San Jose. They serve authentic hủ tiếu noodles in both dry and soup styles. This place is both very clean, bright and spacious, the service is also very quick and friendly. I highly recommend the #2 special with bowl of soup and pork bone marrow.

We visited on a Saturday with my family and tried a few dishes. We ordered the dry hủ tiếu with the broth on the side, and my boyfriend got the version with egg noodles and dry noodles on the side. Overall, we all agreed the food was good especially the noodles, which were flavorful, and the portions, which were generous. I also liked that they served pickled garlic on the side, which was a nice, tasty touch. That said, the meat and organ toppings were quite dry and ended up tasting rubbery, and the bone didn't have much meat on it either. I also tried the xíu mại it was decent but could use a bit more flavor. For now, I'll probably stick with my usual hủ tiếu on Alvin street.

The location of this restaurant is in a busy plaza with the tiniest parking lot. May need some patience to park. I went in on a Saturday morning at 11 and was seated pretty quickly. Inside was really spacious and clean. I know this sounds funny but I wanted my dry noodles to not be so dry? Haha. They have their special sauce they add to all their dry noodles and I wanted more of that. Overall, the noodles were good and the soup on the side came out scalding hot. I'm surprised the server carried it over without a tray. They give you pickled raw garlic and chili oil which I highly recommend adding.

I came here with my friend on a Saturday and it was packed - there was at least 5 people ahead of us but the line moved very quickly. I ended up ordering the #1 dry with egg noodles and it was delicious -- it's one of those dishes that is simple but is well executed and satisfying. I also love that it comes with soup on the side. I definitely will be back whenever I have a craving for some good noodles.

Food comes out fast and hot. Portions are large. Service is quick. Interior is clean and feels new. They may use a lot of msg as I was very thirsty during my meal and after. Got the special dry noodle soup with the pork bone and was able to split it between 2. Also got the egg rolls. The 2 dishes were enough to fill us. I wouldn't go out of my way for the noodle soups here as there are plenty of places all over.

I came here on Tuesday morning around 10:30 am, so it wasn't crowded yet. The server noticed us as soon as we entered and seated us right away. The menu was made of thick plastic, had a nice display, and was easy to read. When I had a question about the 'side noodles' and 'extra noodles,' the server explained the difference patiently. It was clear they knew the menu well and had a positive attitude toward customers. Before my food arrived, I was served water in a small plastic cup. The vegetables were fresh, I especially loved the Chinese celery. Their special sauce was a hit; it really enhanced the flavor and freshness of the seafood. My husband ordered hu tieu mi kho hai san, and I had a side order of noodles. The side order wasn't just a small portion; it was a whole bowl of the same high-quality noodles, just without the seafood. I also ordered mang cau dam and sam bong cuc. It was a very fulfilling and happy Tuesday!

This new location is super spacious and has three times more tables than the original spot, with over 25 tables if I counted correctly. The decor is modern and clean, and I felt super comfy dining here. The menu is super simple. Pick your style, dry with sauce or soup, your noodle option, and the bowl you want. Easy peasy. My wife ordered the Hu Tiu Nam Vang Kho, and I went with the Hu Tieu Mi Xa Xiu with sui cao. The noodle texture here is perfect. While the broth leaned a little on the blander side for my taste, the assorted condiments more than made up for it. The sweet and savory soy sauce is amazing and works perfectly as a dipping sauce. The trifecta of condiments, sate, pickled garlic, and crushed Thai chilies, made it easy to dress up my noodle bowl exactly how I like it.

Tried the new Leung Noodle as this is their second location. It's in a strip mall but parking was easy, even though it was pretty busy. The place is clean and modern, and service was fast. Came on a Saturday during lunch and there was no line, which was a plus. Ordered the dry rice noodle #1 Nam Vang (Saigon shrimp & pork) ($15.95). It comes with sauce, a side of broth, and a plate of bean sprouts, jalapeño, cilantro, and lemon. It was a small portion. I probably should've gotten the rice + egg noodle combo. The rice noodles were stuck together in a clump, but pouring some sauce and a bit of the soup helped break them apart. There was a lot of liver, which I wasn't a big fan of. Also wish they gave a bit more sauce since it looks like they charge extra for it. Didn't realize they were doing 10% off for their grand opening until 1/1/2026, until after we paid. Saw the sign outside on the way out. Overall, solid spot with quick service.

Clean and spacious atmosphere. Service were slow and even though the place wasn't busy. I been trying to find a new spot for Vietnamese dry noodle (Hu Tieu). I ordered the half and half noodle (egg and rice noodle), tossed in a mediocre savory sauce. The meats were dried and the squid did not taste fresh. It came with a side of broth and I chose the pork rib broth. Pork rib itself was bland.

We tried Leung Noodles for the first time yesterday, and it was actually better than I expected. We ordered the đặc biệt and the nam vang, and both bowls had their own standout moments. The nước mam dipping sauce was one of my favorite parts. It was strong, flavorful, and it added the perfect touch when paired with the meats. The nam vang came already presauced, so the aroma was noticeable right away. It had that warm, savory smell that makes you excited to dig in. The noodles had a nice texture, not too soft, and the flavors blended really well. The meat that came with the soup was huge, tender, and surprisingly soft. You could tell it had been cooked well because it practically fell apart with each bite. Service was very quick and smooth. They also gave a generous portion of fresh vegetables on the side, which balanced the richness of the broth and noodles. I really liked that the restaurant itself is spacious with a clean and aesthetic setup. It feels modern while still giving that classic noodle shop comfort. Overall, a solid spot for a casual noodle craving with good portions, fast service, and a comfortable space. I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

I was happy that this location opened closer to my house :) First time here on a Sunday around 11ish. Super spacious inside so no wait time. I was able to order right away and got my food super fast. I love that they were able to sub out the squid to quail eggs from the #3 seafood noodle option! It's much more lively here than the other location :o Even with my headphones in it was super loud. Honestly parking here is a nightmare took forever to park since the plaza was so busy... I ate the noodles faster than the time it took to park If you want a quick meal maybe the other location is easier to park.

mi ga and hu tieu kho

Wanted to try the new location because I also love the first one. This one is just sooo delicious! The amount is super generous and affordable for the price. They give you SO much noodles, fried onions, and don't skimp on any toppings or meat. I ordered mi ga and it had so much meat I could barely finish it! I took the leftover soup home and had enough soup and meat to have a second meal!! The soup is also so flavorful and already well seasoned so I didn't feel the need to add many extra. Just a tiny dash of vinegar and chili and it's perfect. At other spots I have to add so much chili and vinegar to make it edible. My husband got the hu tieu nam vang kho and it was very delicious as well with generous and a variety of toppings. I also love that they have pickled garlic and fresh thai chili. A lot of places don't have those and only offer the chili garlic premade. I LOVE the pickled garlic it's tender, a little sweet, and very tangy. I also like that there is sweet soy sauce to dip, many noodle places don't give you any accompanying dipping (rather than basic hoisin and sriracha). The server was very nice and explained the noodle size (only one size) for me and quickly brought out extra sauce upon request. It was also very clean and modern inside after the remodel. We definitely will come back. Im a Vietnamese Chinese and this is the real deal !

We love their original silver creek location so when we heard they have a new more spacious spot, we had to check them out. We will now only go here since parking was easy and it was so modern. The quality is the similar enough with delicious pickled garlic as always.

They are fruity and fun, but they tasted like they were made with sugary syrup. So if you do not want a sugar bomb or you are watching sugar calories, I would stay away from those. This then continued with mi do bien, filet mignon and beef ball pho, & a variety of nam vang noodle versions. The great thing about Kali Noodles are the multiple options of noodles they provide. There are a number of combinations that could be made with the 6 offerings. The food was surprisingly really good- so much better than what my first visit was. The bowls were presented neatly but plated in a way where the large chunks of lettuce made the bowls seem a lot more fuller that it really was. The noodle soups also consisted a lot more broth than noodles. Having said that, the egg noodles are really really good!! The restaurant cooks them perfectly- chewy with a slight bite that keeps you wanting more and more. Hu tieu dai was unfortunately too mushy in texture for my liking. 4 stars overall. Customer service from the owners were exceptional. They were attentive to each person's order and were so welcoming.
