This place reminds me a bit of Seapot in Sunnyvale. with its similar feel, decor, style, etc. They have unique broths to choose from in which my favorite was their spicy Szechuan chili broth with lots of lamb. I thought they added a bit too much anise spice but other than that, it's delicious. They have all the major meats available like rib eye, flank steak, pork belly, beef belly, lamb, and more. They have lots of appetizers to choose from in which our favorite is their crispy fried chicken. This side dish is so good and pairs great with regular rice with broth. They have a sauce bar for condiments and a fruit bar for sweet treats. The employees are quick on their feet and do frequently check-in with tables for refills and more. I'm a huge fan of Revopot and will definitely come back again for more! read more

The concept of an AYCE conveyer belt hot-pot spot is really fun and unique, and I definitely enjoyed my experience. Dinner & weekends are ~$36, with weekday lunches being cheaper; I find that this is about the same as or cheaper than what I would pay at an à la carte-style spot. Parking was really easy, as it's in a massive plaza with plenty of parking. I thought the interior alright; it was pleasant but not notably nice. The service was quite good--our orders came out quickly, our empty bowls were cleared fast, and we never had trouble getting their attention. They have a decent selection of hot pot broths, with individual pots for each customer. Their sauce bar is pretty standard, and they have a little dessert bar also. I found the desserts a little lacking (though they had mango sago, which was fun), but there is a decent amount of fresh fruit (mostly melons). They have a menu with fried appetizers & main proteins--the selection is on the smaller side, but I think it is sufficient. The fun part is the conveyer belt! They have all the sides you would normally expect--spinach, cabbage, several types of mushrooms, noodles, rice cakes, seafood, and the like. Everything on the belt is refilled really quickly, so I never felt like I was waiting too long for any item. Ultimately, I will say that I feel this spot is great if you have a big appetite and don't mind a somewhat smaller range of options. I came here in a party of 4 on a Monday evening and was seated immediately. I got the mala broth. It's neat how each person gets their individual broth - from my experience it's more common to have a communal broth in the middle of a table. I think they use induction heaters so it is pretty slick and easy to control. The table itself felt a bit cramped though, and we had to play a bit of tetris to manage everything. There are vegetables that revolve around a conveyer belt for us to grab. The sauce bar is pretty small and got a bit chaotic. The hot food bar was also pretty small. The quality of the food is good. The mala broth was spicy. I think this place has really good value. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that similar places do but the price is hard to beat. Absolutely terrible experience. We were told the wait would be 5-10 minutes, so we waited. The server who spoke to us then disappeared, and we ended up standing there for almost an HOUR with no update and still weren't seated. Finally, another employee came out and yelled that they were extremely backed up and that we needed to put our name down and wait for a call. Why wasn't this explained to us when we first arrived? We would have happily put our name down and gone somewhere else instead of wasting an hour waiting because we were specifically told 5-10 minutes. Being busy is completely understandable. Leaving customers waiting for an hour because your staff failed to communicate--and then speaking to them rudely--is not. A simple explanation from the beginning would have prevented the entire situation. Extremely disappointing service and a complete waste of our time. read more

This has been on my bucket list for awhile since I first saw it in IG. Glad I finally got around to trying it! Ambiance: clean and modern feeling. There were both booth and counter-style seating. We were lucky to score a booth. It seemed like there was only a limited amount of them. Comfort experience may be different if I was sat next to a stranger or with limited room to place my food. Service: servers were attentive in clearing out empty plates. Took a little bit at times to get the attention of the waiter with the tablet to order more meat, but it wasn't long enough to get grumpy over. Food: The food available at the conveyor belt had a large variety. It ranged from staple ramen noodles to clams to the more exotic pork blood and tripe (I think there was also liver?). You are able to also order hot food via the server. The raw meat your order via the server tasted high quality, but portions were small and you're only able to order 4 per round. Dessert and side dishes also available via self-serve. The condiment bar was also a plus. Would recommend this place. Definitely a contender for my usual staple Seapot. It seems relatively new and has the concept of conveyor belt hotpot. we were seated immediately, but it gets extremely crowded on weekends. The service was incredible and the facilities were clean. I especially liked the self-serve bar where they had cucumber salad, kimchi jello cake, fruits, sauces, and even chicken feet! I've tried the Szechuan spicy broth and the Chinese herbal broth. I love spice, but the Szechuan broth did not hurt my stomach too much; I think it's manageable for people who prefer medium spice! The herbal broth smells like a Chinese medicine store; I enjoyed it as a good non-spicy option, but I know it's not some people's cup of tea. The selection of meats was good and they refilled quickly. You can also order appetizers for AYCE. The conveyor belt was clean, replenished often, and the servers were accessible to our needs. Their lunch deal is a steal at three plates of meat per person and unlimited conveyor belt usage for $23 per person. If you're not that hungry, go for this. I've been coming to Revo about 3-4 times recently, and I'm honestly so happy I found this place. My first visit was great even though I didn't know what to expect. The second time was New Year's Eve, and they were really short staffed, but the employees were still incredibly kind. Hats off to David -- he's hardworking, humble, and always takes great care of us. Since then, I've been back a few more times. Recently I met Nghi, and she set us up so kindly. I enjoy chatting with the staff and even with the customers sitting next to us around the revolving hot pot area. It gives the place a friendly, community feel. I try to eat as clean as possible, so I stick to sliced shabu meats, lots of veggies, and non‑processed items from the revolving area and this place makes that easy. The soup bases have plenty of flavor, and there are lots of options. My favorites are tom yum, herbal, and mushroom. There are two sauce stations if you like to customize, plus a station with Asian desserts and appetizers. You can also order hot appetizers but I typically won't since it's all fried foods. I usually finish with 1-3 pieces of Asian jello, but they also have assorted fruits if you want something even lighter. Highly recommend this spot. New hotpot + bar restaurant next to ITea and Ross. Talk about flow state. Important notes: * There is automatic gratuity added for parties of 5 or more. * It is all you can eat (AYCE) for 1.5 hours. * There is a 10% surcharge applied for excessive leftovers. * Revopot special is $22.95 but only from Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm. (1 hour limit and has to be less than a party of 8) Came here with the fam with reservations for 1pm on a Sunday. However, we still had to wait about 20-30 minutes for seats to be available where the revolving bar is. Otherwise the booth seats were available. I love how there is an option where everyone can sit next to each other facing the revolving bar to grab their own things, but then you can't really talk to everyone because you would have to be across from each other. They also have a few booths if you want to sit with your family or friends facing eachother but then whoever is closest to the revolving bar has to grab all the hot pot items. I like the layout of their restaurant. When you first walk in there is a small lobby/ waiting area to check in and the bar is on the right with nice lots of seats. The lighting in there is quite yellow and they play up to date music. I love that they have a lot of options of side foods such as their table of stir fry noodles, fried chicken and some other fried item (fish possibly?). There is a another table with fruits and sides such as cucumber salad, chicken feet, kimchi, etc.. The sides were pretty good. The sauce bar is standard. You got your chili oil, ponzu, soy sauce, etc with cilantro, onions, and more. However, it seemed like they kind of dilute the sauces like their garlic, and chili oil a bit. I got the spicy mala soup and it was a standard spicy numbing hot soup. You also have the option to choose hot foods from the menu and I got crab Rangoons. Those were so below average so I do not recommend. As for meats we got premium pork belly, rib eye, brisket and lamb. They were all good and some came out frozen. The quality of the meats itself were just average compared to other hot pot places I've tried. They also put the meats on top of the glass screen on the revolving bar which I think is cool. It was fun for the whole family to all sit in front of the revolving bar. I was lucky enough to sit where all the foods were dispensed from so I was snatching up the enoki mushrooms. I wish they had bamboo shoots here and the wider glass noodles like at Seapot. The quail eggs were really good. They had a good amount of selections to choose from. The service was standard but the only thing that my family didn't like was that it took a while for someone to come back to order more meats. It honestly was random there would be a long wait time and then one server would come and then 5 minutes later another server would come to take another order. However, all the servers were polite and they would periodically come to help clear out empty trays because they stacked up a lot. Overall I recommend trying this place out once. It left us feeling full with a heartiness in our stomachs! :3 So when you enter with a small group (3- 4 people) expect to be seated near a conveyor belt of an assortment of veggies, seafoods, noodles, etc to put in your pot! The meats are handled by the waiters- not too many meats to choose from but it definitely keeps it simple for people eating to not think about and just enjoy your hot pot! The meat is definitely thin.. and why would it be thick? You're heating it up in some good soup! Meats: brisket, lamb, pork belly, etc. What gives Revopot the appeal for me is that you can just add in your own veggies and works as you please, as the conveyor belt will keep "dishing" out more. (Get it?) Just be mindful as well with how close you are sitting with others- cus it does feel like you're sitting within elbow side of them, but focus on your food and your party, and it's all good! Out of many restaurants I've been to over my lifetime, Revopot ranks the top in terms of service and price/quality ratio. The staff is super attentive, friendly, and will make sure your requests are fulfilled. The pricing on the AYCE hot pot is IMO in the right spot. The red meat selection isn't anywhere extensive compared to Halidao, but you're also not paying for each individual serving. I really love their conveyor belt system where a lot of seafood / veggies / etc are constantly coming past you so you can just quickly add to your hot pot without calling for service. The sauce bar is really well-done; the sauces available that you can customize are really competitive with Halidao, and they also have a mini-buffet for things like chow mein, Thai-style flat noodles, egg rolls, and desserts too. I really love this place. It's one of the few places my wife has fond memories for and want to return to because the service is so good and the food / price is just *chef's kiss*. I do wish they had a Schezwan-spicy level broth. Would love some numbing peppers in my hot pot. The spicy mala broth is great but not it. The fries did not taste great because it has been sitting there for a while. They have a lot of sauce dipping selection, but nothing very spicy. As for the broth, I ordered the herbal soup base for myself. However, it wasn't flavorful enough and the herbal taste was too subtle. I'd probably choose a different soup base next time. I tried a sip of my fiance's spicy mala broth and THAT was a lot more flavorful (aka - it's not just spicy). My husband has been fighting to not dine here because of the reviews but I've been curious since it's so close by and I'm all for supporting local businesses. We came here on a Monday night and there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant. Service was amazing! Super attentive and friendly! The restaurant was clean and we enjoyed the sauce bar, cold bar/ desserts. If you are into chicken feet like us, you will like their chicken feet in the cold bar section. They didn't have the hot items out but the waiter mentioned we can order from the menu. Now about the hotpot, I got the Sichuan broth and it was flavorful. My dad ordered the same thing but his was extra salty. My husband and mom both got the tom yum and both liked it. The meat quality is very mid but we eat more veggies and seafood than meat. Mixed well with the mushroom soup. What I really wanted were the pandan/coconut jelly/jello type desserts which they didn't have during lunchtime. Fruits were plentiful and special sweet snacks are good. I have a feeling that the evening food bars are filled with even more goodies. Grab whatever sauces/appetizers/desserts/rice/meats you want at the food bar area. Kimchi and vinaigrette cucumbers with peanuts are my favorites to start. Lunchtime items felt limited at the food bar: rice, fried fish fillets, beef pepper onions, etc. Conveyor belt items for hot pot soup were all very good though: corn, yams, mussels, clams, shrimps, vermicelli, veggies, etc. Conveyor belt foods came out slowly, but my appetite was already fulfilled and it felt like there was more food than I can swallow or finish. Do come hungry. Vibes are probably much better during evenings and on weekends. There were only 4-6 customers inside from 11am-12:30pm lunchtime Thursday. I had the mushroom soup base. As a soup lover, I had to try Revopot after seeing it online with my post-work foodie scroll and it was good to try! It seems like they are still in their soft opening stages based from recent reviews. Love the variety of their sauce bar and maybe it's bc I went during lunch, however their hot foods section wasn't available? Would like to try a bite of their chicken! Service was fast and polite! Our waiter checked on us enough to make sure we had all the meats we needed without doing too much! Surprisingly, I really enjoyed their sides for a hotpot place. Anywho, I do think their broth can be improved and there should be more of a selection with the toppings from the revolving belt. I totally get that you can add what you like to the broth to enhance the flavor, however the creamy cheese soup was neither of those. It was more on the lighter and milky side. I really love their set up. You walk in and on the right they have a bar. Then they have the seating areas. I prefer sitting at a table, but sometimes they make you sit at a bar. But the reason for the bar is they have a conveyor belt that has vegetables, noodles, and seafood which you take to cook in your pot. I also like that they have individual pots for each person. After you order your soup and drinks, you're free to wait. Or you can step up to the self serve area and get chicken, ribs, chow mein, chow fun, or whatever they may happen to have that day. Once they had fried chicken wings, which I absolutely adored! The next time I went, they didn't have it. I forget exactly which types of soup they have but that's their one weakness. I think I got miso or mushroom. But I feel they should really have another middle of the road type. The other ones are spicy or tomato or something like that. With four people, you can order six meats at a time. The meats are really good, but they're cut extremely thin. The good news that they cook super fast. Both times I've been I left very full. I barely have any room for dessert which is either a tapioca or some other Asian custard or a lot of freshly cut fruit. The service is really good and they're very friendly. Decided to come with my fiance at 2pm. We had just done a bunch of errands and were looking forward to AYCE hotpot. We planned our day around this meal. The inside of the restaurant looks like pretty much every other conveyor belt hotpot (hint: think seapot). There are plenty of tables and there are 3 big belts of items rolling about. Each person will get their own pot and unlimited meat. One thing I really like about their items are that the plates are not too big. If I want just 1-2 pieces of something I can get it, not 3-4 such that I might overeat later when I'm full. The selection of their items is also quite good, one of the rarer things I liked for example was their bamboo. I thought the meat quality was also stellar! very marbled, even their ribeye, which is available at all times. They also have a cold / hot dish premade section. That section has lots of interesting stuff like noodles, chicken feet, and cold chicken. There were also jello and fruits but I didn't try it. I quite liked their cooked items though. Finally, their broth was stellar. I chose the mala and found it perfectly seasoned. Didn't even use the sauce bar. Not sure about their other broths though as you can only choose one. Their service was excellent (very fast) and quite a good price ($35). As I could not find any reasons to nit against their place, I wholeheartedly recommend as one of the best ayce hotpot places I've been to :) read more

went here around 6:00 pm on a monday with my girlfriend, was not busy at all, probably just a couple parties there besides us. there is lots of parking and there is a waitlist if needed. the place is big and has bar like seating and also booth seating. there is a revolving belt with a bunch of hotpot items which is delicious but the only thing is that it is shared between sections so you might not be able to grab what you want if everybody wants the same thing. you have to get 4 meats per round, which is also a downside if you want one certain meat to try or so, but to make it worth it i do understand. they have a dessert bar and of course the condiments bar which is free to grab. for hot pot base: tom yum: super good, kind of spicy but really good. herbal: the aromatics were so good, kind of cinammony but pretty good. brisket, rib eye, beef belly: really good cuts of meat, kind of fatty but honestly not bad. overall this place is pretty worth it for the price especially if you go for lunch. read more

3.5 Seating is very weird. It's like bar seating throughout the whole restaurant except a few tables. This sucks bc you're literally shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you. This is hard when you're at a AYCE and you have a lot of food in front of you (with meats, sides, etc), so there's not much room. The side options on the conveyer belt feels limited. There's not much variety. Nothing compared to SeaPot. On the bright side, the tom yum broth was delicious. read more

An AYCE hotpot and buffet in one restaurant. We asked for the Spicy Mala and Herbal broth. The Herbal broth had a fruity flavor and bitter aftertaste. It was just too bitter for my taste even after I added some mushrooms and tofu in it so I had asked to switch to the Mushroom Broth. It was an extra $6.95 to to switch to another broth. The Mushroom Broth was ok. There were 7 choices of meat including the American Wagyu. Dinner price applies to the Wagyu meat. Tried the Brisket, Ribeye, pork belly, and Wagyu. Meats were ok with ribeye as the best of the choices. It was the least chewy compared to all the others. The buffet was good. It had battered fried fish, soy type chicken, dumplings, noodles and lots of fresh fruits and jello type desserts. Enjoyed the buffet. Soda was not included in the buffet. Nice staff. I guess it's a soft open. The service is good. The condiment , great selection but the conveyor belt food was very simple for the price of other all you can eat hot pot... The hot pot business is a dog eat dog world business. You have to price it right with the food server or else won't service in the Bay Area. Good luck. read more

Newest AYCE hotpot in the area. Decent quality meat and delicious broths, but very limited conveyor belt items. My friends and I enjoyed our meal here at revopot. Truly took in the delicious and unlimited thinly sliced meats, but it wasn't unlimited after all. We were told they ran out of wagyu after a good 5 rounds, but by then we were already too full to care. This place is poppin! My friends and I waited close to 2 hours in a friday night. DEFINITELY not worth that wait, but a good try still. There are booth seats and conveyor belt seats. Sauce and snack bar is extensive and included in the AYCE. Service was attentive! read more

FLAVOR (2/5): My mushroom soup base was so salty I couldn't fully enjoy my food. I didn't find their meat selection quality to be that good despite it being wagyu. Wish they had more options for vegetables. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (4/5): You're probably coming here for the conveyor belt let's be honest. That alone isn't enough to eat here again. Seapot has the same concept but it tastes significantly better. SERVICE (3/5): Servers stopped coming over to our table towards the tail end of our dining. We had to flag someone over to take our order and they couldn't even take our order they sent someone else. TAKEAWAYS: Even for AYCE I found this place super disappointing. We celebrated my birthday here with my family, and it was our first time visiting. We had a wonderful experience! The young lady who helped us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. She made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, and all of the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious, and everyone in my family enjoyed it. If I can give the service a higher rating, I would TOTALLY do it!!! 5/5 for my server! Ethan made me feel so welcomed here with his humor! He was also very helpful with recommending what to order. Really funny and amazing guy. The food overall would be a 3/5 for me. I got the herbal soup and it was surprisingly sweet for me. I would definitely try another soup next time i visit again. The conveyor belt food has pretty limited options as well as the condiments section. Revopot seems like a very friendly place for solo diners, and I would definitely come back again!
