Stir fry beef with vegetables 2/5 - this was pretty bad.. beef was so tough I couldn't even chew them and had to spit it out. Vegetables are not stir fry with the beef so there's no flavor. It's just steamed veggies. Not worth it I don't think this location is as good as other ones.

I've always liked Siam Station but it's been a while since I've been and recently saw that this Milpitas version opened so we had to check it out. We came shortly after opening for lunch and got the e-san sausage, beef salad and khao soi to share. I loved the tangy fermented e-san sausage which comes with peanuts and Thai chilis on the side to eat with the sausage. The beef salad and khao soi were good good as well. I like the tangy fish sauce in the beef salad which feels super fresh and a great shared app to start. The khao soi is on the saltier side but really nice and creamy. We got beef which felt a little repetitive as it's the same cubed beef they use in the salad. Would recommend opting for chicken with the khao soi. Overall solid meal - my partner doesn't do well with spice so we got the dishes mild which I have to say I prefer the original spicy versions. It felt like without the spice there was some flavor missing but Siam Station is always a good choice for a casual meal and we enjoyed our lunch here.

The waiter was very generous. He notified me that hot was actually very hot. He cautioned me that Thai chilis were no joke. I do believe that the food is pretty affordable compared to a lot of the other Thai restaurants which allowed me to order appetizers. The Khao Soi was super spicy. It was a big bowl so I appreciate the bang for your buck. It was very flavorful. Due to it being spicy, I ended up finishing my Thai tea. Speaking about Thai tea, I appreciate that it wasn't a problem asking for less ice. They did not skimp out on the fried tofu. I felt like whole families could eat this. They gave me many pieces of fried tofu. The sauce was underrated too. This was a very fun experience. I'd definitely recommend this spot for good Thai food! I'm already planning another future visit!!!

Not a deal breaker - lots of good food on the menu!

Siam Station is one of those places that stays consistent. The food is always on point--served warm, flavorful, and they actually listen when you tell them how spicy you want it. If you come around noon, expect a line and a bit of noise - it gets busy! Pro tip: add your name to the waitlist on the iPad by the entrance as soon as you walk in. The line moves quickly, and the team keeps things running smoothly even when it's busy. If you're craving Thai street food, this is the place. I keep coming back for their crispy pork curry and pad Thai. Five stars from me.

Five of us came at 11:30 right when they opened and it was super busy, but luckily we got a table! Within 10 minutes or so, all tables were taken. We ordered chicken satay, khao soi, Thai boat noodles, pad Thai, Grene curry and pad kee mow. Overall, everything was either way too sweet or too salty. The pad Thai was extremely red and sweet. I'm not sure what they did to it. The khao soi was on the sweeter side as was the green curry, but decent enough to eat. The Thai boat noodles were very salty. The chicken satay came with four pieces and they were large chicken breast cut into tenders rather than chicken chunks. It was hard to eat since the grain of the chicken ran the long way. One person in our party said her piece was overcooked. I also overheard the table next to us send back their fried rice. Overall meal was meh, I would not come back here unfortunately.

Good spot for Thai food! This was my first time at Siam Station, and I thought my pad see ew was solid. It had great flavor and was a massive portion size. I also got a Thai iced tea which was nice and strong. I'd love to come back and try other dishes too! Came on a random weekday afternoon and it was fairly busy inside. We had to put our name down on the waitlist, but got seated within 10 minutes. Service was fast and friendly here. It's a little loud inside, mostly because it was busy.

I think this location edges out the Cupertino one, and the crowds seem to agree. Currently, the strongest contender for Thai food in Milpitas. Especially enjoyed the rom yum and pad see ew, although everything we ordered was very solid. The weekend waitlist can be daunting, so I'd try my luck early on a weeknight.

Lelong P.

I've been going to the Cupertino location for a while, so I was excited to finally try the newly opened Milpitas location. Service: Friendly and welcoming. No complaints at all. Food: Just as consistent as the Cupertino location. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with anything you order. My go-to is still the Tom Yum Noodles and Larb Salad, and they didn't disappoint! Ambiance: The Milpitas location feels like it might actually be bigger than the Cupertino location. It's spacious and has a nice atmosphere. The only crazy thing about this location is the parking . On the weekends, it's basically the Wild Wild West trying to get in and find a spot. Overall, another solid location. If you already love the Cupertino spot, definitely give Milpitas a try!

Brenda L.

I've always been a huge fan of Siam Station's Cupertino location, so I was excited to hear they had opened another one in Milpitas! We came on a busy Sunday for lunch and waited maybe 20-30 minutes for a table for 8. Initial impressions: over the summer, it does get a bit hot here especially with the sun beaming through the windows. They had a Yelp waitlist fortunately, so that made it convenient to check in on wait times, etc. -- definitely join ahead of time if you can! My favorites here are the green curry and the pad thai. They do it right here! The pad thai is saucy and packed with flavor. The green curry has a ton of depth and the portion size is HUGE. As for service, it felt pretty hands-off here. The servers only came out to bring us our food. We were out of water for some time and it was difficult finding someone to flag to help us out with this. I'd definitely come back! But prefer the Cupertino location a bit more. It feels more intimate, though the Milpitas one does seem ideal for larger groups.

Tofu fried rice.

I was surprised at this restaurant. High ceiling, bright, and well spaced out tables. Wait can be long for lunch crowd so come early. Service was ok, typical of fast food lunch places. No complain. Food came out fairly quick. The amount of food for the price was excellent. I've visited a few times, the crispy pork in any of the dishes were good, but more so with the curry dishes. The spice level option vs actual was closer to my expectation, spicy level was quite spicy, proceed with caution. Unless you are a pretty big eater, the leftover could still be enough for next day's lunch. The photos were not great, it was from my first visit, didn't have much expectation. But halfway through, I thought I should do a review at some point, this place was good.

N8 Thai Boat Noodles
Jaane F.

We got seated right away when we arrived at the restaurant on Sunday. We ordered pad thai, Thai boat noodles, and crab fried rice. All their food is delicious and not overly salty or overly oily. The portions are quite decent. The restaurant is big and clean. The restaurant can get busy very quickly during the lunch hour. The plaza has many parking.

Kaetyng C.

After seeing such long lines, we knew we had to try this place. The food was delicious, but if you're coming for dinner, I recommend showing up on a Mon - Thurs. We came for dinner at 7pm on a Friday and ended up waiting over an hour. It was also difficult to find parking. Pad Thai 5/5 - the noodle texture and flavor was perfect. I didn't like the crispy pork -- it had the texture of freeze dried meat. Would recommend the chicken instead. Pad See Ew 5/5 - this dish is delicious! It's more savory than the Pad Thai and the noodle texture was perfect. Often times, the noodles are too squishy and soft at other restaurants but this one has the perfect bite! Even at mild spice, it has a good kick. I usually love tofu, but their tofu is extremely firm and dry here. Wouldn't recommend selecting that as your meat option. Tom Yum Soup 5/5 - noodle texture was perfect and the flavor of the soup was perfectly balanced. It has a strong sour flavor without being too sour. They give a ton of seafood in this dish! Tom Yum Rice 3/5 - I love tom yum soup and the rice tasted exactly like tom yum. I thought I would love it, but it just doesn't work as a rice dish for me. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!! So glad there's a new restaurant we can add into our rotation.

Everything was ready in about 45 minutes, neatly packed, and honestly the wings were absolute hitters at the party. Both flavors were SO good and perfectly fried. I'm really glad I got both because everyone had a favorite. Perfect potluck food and definitely something I'd order again. Highly recommend!

It's a solid Thai spot!…read more Honestly, I wasn't expecting much because this isn't in a Thai-dense area in terms of restaurants, but my friend and I were very pleased. We've eaten around quite a bit, and Thai is something we both enjoy. We each ordered a curry combo which comes with a salad, rice and curry. A meal definitely worth coming back for. It's worth its price in terms of price, quantity and quality. The chicken satay was an interesting experience. The chicken was disappointing, but the peanut sauce helped. This place serves the satay with some pieces of toast which was new for both of us. I was bold enough to try it all together and it just tasted like a toast with peanut butter and some dry chicken. Not bad, but not something I would make for myself. The place is small, so the waitress had an easy manning the floor which she did very well. She did forget one of our items, but it wasn't intentional. She also reacted very quickly when we brought it to her attention. Overall, I'd recommend people to this place if they're looking for some quick Thai food.

I asked while pointing to my Pixel Wings, "Are these wings double-fried?"…read more My waiter gave an emphatic, "Yes!" The Pixel Wings were deeply golden, with crunchy ridges that were audibly crisp. The chicken wings were adorably small, but every wing was crunch-worthy, with tender, juicy meat inside. Paired with the bright, chili-flecked house sauce, this small plate left a big impression! This was the second time my husband and I visited Must Be Thai. The other times we attempted to come here, the restaurant was packed, and we had to go somewhere else. This time, we found a nice window of opportunity for a Monday lunch. I enjoy this restaurant because it has a unique way of organizing its menu, emphasizing the regions of Thailand from which the dishes originate. It encouraged my husband and me to explore something new on the menu, as though we were traveling to that region ourselves. Besides the Pixel Wings, we traveled to Southeast Thailand to try The Ex Rockfish. The presentation was wonderfully dramatic. The whole rockfish arrived opened and deep-fried, curving around the bowl while a colorful tumble of buttery pieces of fish and peppers filled the center. A zesty green dipping sauce was also provided to cut through the richness of the dish. Pair that with a bowl of jasmine rice and some Thai iced tea and *chef's kiss*. This was a dish we had never tried before, and I'm glad our waitress recommended it! Another thing I enjoy about this restaurant is the youthful cheekiness of its ambiance. The dining room has a playful, urban-industrial aesthetic softened by warm wood and light colors. It feels both relaxing and energetic. The mural boasts a chaotic depiction of what appears to be a tuk-tuk and Godzilla fighting off some durian. The menu has a similar vibe. Despite all this playfulness, they don't mess around when it comes to food quality. Friendly service, great food, and a fun ambiance - we'll be coming back for more!

The ambiance is wonderful, with quiet, calm music and featuring incredibly spacious and comfortable seating. The food here is spectacular. If you visit, there are three absolute must-tries: Massaman Curry: Hands down the best I've ever had. It is so rich and aromatic that I could gladly drink it plain, but it pairs beautifully with their coconut rice if you're getting it as an entree or roti as an appetizer. Thai Chicken Biryani: The chicken is incredibly tender and juicy. It's served over a butter fried rice packed with addictive aromatics. My only gripe is that I always find myself wanting more chicken! BBQ Chicken: To satisfy that extra chicken craving, we recently tried this dish. Marinated in oyster sauce and spices, it is tender, deeply flavorful, and an instant favorite. Beyond the mains, do not skip on the cream cheese avocado wonton appetizer. They are so much better than the standard cream cheese wontons you get elsewhere. I think they make the sweet and sour sauce in-house; it's so delicious we drink it straight from the dish once we've finished the wontons. I've noticed a few negative reviews complaining about the service, but that has never been our experience. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, attentive, and proactive about refilling waters and packing up takeout container leftovers. While there is an automatic 18% gratuity, the team absolutely earns every cent of it. Treat the staff with respect, and they will take fantastic care of you.
