i think for most Gordon Conwell community this place is a must. Pad Thai is great. Oriental Beef is great. Spicy Squid is great. top three things i get all the time. the soup, Thom Yum is not so great. Mediocre. there is one lady whose service leaves much to be desired(for example, if we ask for things she would sometimes say no- like extra rice or water) However, I think she left or got fired because I don't see her much anymore. my baby loves the crispy duck. too soy saucy for me, but she is a saucy one. hehe. read more

Siam Delight is overrated....Sorry to burst your bubble Siam! The food is okay, nothing special. They have many options which is nice and I've tried it a few different things but nothing really stuck out. Some of the meat is pretty fatty actually but their sauces are pretty delicious. read more

SO delicious! Really great pad Thai noodles. The staff is wicked nice too, very helpful and always make great recommendations on different dishes to try. They also have a very interesting Thai beer selection. Well worth checking out for something a little different. read more

Love this place! It's our go to for Sunday night Thai. They have crab rangoons (although not on the menu) that are to die for.

I gave Siam kind of a raw deal on my first review because the Tom Yum Soup was too limey. I have not tried it since, but I can say that their Crystal Pad Thai and Panang, Red,and Green Curries have been outstanding, as I have frequented this place over the past few years. Siam Delight is the Best Thai food on the north shore of Boston. With an abundant number Thai restaurants we can go to we always head to Siam Delight. Food is super fresh (cooked to order) and very tasty. Lunch prices are fantastic with a large amount of food - dinner menu is a little more but you will have leftovers to take home. Surprised by this find. The restaurant is next to the dry cleaner so we passed by it. Restaurant has it's own parking lot. The tamarind duck was very good but the house special, "Noodle on the Beach" was bland by my taste. Service and food preparation was good. The inside was really nice. I started with the Urban Wings "Crispy marinated chicken wings in Thai special sauce". They were crispy but there was no trace of any marinade. Instead of Thai Special Sauce, I got plain ketchup! Ketchup? I then went on an ordered the DUCK CHOO CHEE *** from the lunch menu. As you can see, it was marked as three stars, and I told the waitress/owner that I liked spicy and three star spicy was fine with me. What did I get? A dish that completely lacked heat, none, nada. I got three thin slices of duck that was so dry on the bottom, that I didn't know if it was meat or pieces of the rib cage. On one it was actually a piece of the rib cage, so much for boneless. There was also a fair amount of cartilage left in there. Crispy? Not anymore. It was a deep plate, so you got a fair amount of sauce, and that would have been nice if it was a real Choo Chee curry, but it was just bland, not even a trace of coconut. The veggies were uncooked, and the string beans still had the tip left on. read more

good food at good prices = i'm in! the fact is, it might not be the BEST ever, but for the north shore, it may be as good as it gets, and at less than $8 for the pad thai, i love it! also, the in dining is always pleasant (clean!) and fast. my friend and i pop in there about once a week, and get served our food in less than 10 minutes. read more

This is one of our favorite spots in Beverly! Since moving here a little over a year ago, Siam Delight has easily become one of our staples for chilly days (their soups are amazing!) and entertaining friends and family. I have been to this place at least five times now. The staffs are very welcoming and the food is amazing. Satay chicken/beef seems to be the best I have ever had in a thai food. If you like thai and happen to be near Beverly, this is a great place to try out. They have limited parking spot at the front but there is a parking lot right across the street. read more

Better than i expected. I've lived in the area for a little while and always pass by this little spot. It's nothing special to look at from the outside but the food makes up for it. The red curry was great and my boyfriend seemed to like his meal aw well. We thought we would try something new tonight. We walked in to a somewhat confusing entry and one of the diners said to wait there to be seated. After a really long time, we were finally seated. And to answer your question, no it wasn't busy. There were plenty of open tables. So, we were finally seated only to be ignored some more. Just went here for dinner. The Vegetable Tempura was amazing, the best that I have ever had.. We also had great Thai rolls that were very good. My husband had noodles on the beach that he said was very good. I had the Pad Thai that was amazing, there was enough sauce so that it wasn't too dried out like I find in a lot of Thai places. So I'd give the food 4-5 stars, but the last few times I have gone the service has been horrendous. We were there an hour and fifteen minutes the last time. We had 5 people and everyone's meal came out separately. One appetizer arrived 5 minutes after we ordered, the next 40 minutes. The take out business was booming, but it seems to be at the expense of customers eating in the restaurant, not sure if it's a waitstaff issue or kitchen issue but after a few times taking an hour plus to get food I am pretty much done, which is a bummer because their food is good. read more

My wife and I lived in Thailand for several years, and upon our return to Beverly were relatively pleased with Siam Delight for years, as well. After all, it's always hard to recreate the true flavors with American ingredients for American palates. Unfortunately, Siam Delight has taken a HUGE downturn. Their Thai cooks have been replaced with Hispanic cooks, their Thai waitstaff replaced with Chinese staff. Obviously, the new product - heavily soysauced Chinese food - is Thai food in name only. I am having a love affair with Siam Delight. I love this place and living practically across the street has made it very easy for us to have regular Thai trysts--in my first month living in Beverly, I think ordered takeout here five or six times. The food here is top notch and is usually ready for pickup just minutes after I call in an order. So far my favorites are the Noodles on the Beach (pretty similar to drunken noodles at other restaurants) and the red curry. The prices are decent and the portions on most entrees are large enough to leave you with enough leftovers for lunch the next day. This place has very quickly become my go-to for those lazy Friday nights when I don't feel like cooking, or those lazy Tuesday nights when I don't feel like doing my grocery shopping, or those forgetful Wednesdays when I forget that I was too lazy to do my shopping on Tuesday and hence, have no food in the house...you get my point. read more

This place is SO GOOD. We discovered it at thanksgiving and have eaten here probably 6 times since then, both eat in and carry out. The portions are very generous. Veg spring rolls are great, as are drunken noodles, massaman curry, and pad Thai. Wait staff are quiet but friendly and service is reasonably quick, though they often take a while to take your order initially. I live very close to Siam delight and get take out from there all the time. The staff working there are so sweet and lovely i walk out of there smiling more times than not witch is a feat cuz I'm kind of a grump. The food is very good I've never gotten anything I didn't like,and I tried a large amount of the selections. My favorite dish is the salmon cho chee,having a strong dislike of cooked peppers they make substitution of bamboo shoots instead no prob bob. Good price good food good folks! read more
