Wonton Delight with sweet and spicy sauce

I think Thai food is such a hard cuisine to master. Everywhere I go it tastes different and usually isn't good. However, Siam Delight has set the standard for what Thai should taste like. I opted for take out and ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp (cause I'm greedy lol) and I also ordered the wonton delight. The Pad Thai is so flavorful and the right amount of everything. Bean sprouts, noodles, chicken , shrimp, eggs and crushed peanuts. It also comes with scallion but I omitted that. The wonton delights is minced chicken, shrimp and cilantro in a wonton wrap deep fried and served with a sweet and spicy sauce on the side. I mean just amazing. All that goodness for less than $20. Definitely a must try if you're ever in the area. Oh yeah the food is so filling I ate it in two sittings you really get a bang for your buck.

I love Thai food so I was thrilled when I saw this restaurant was just down the street from an Airbnb I stayed at in Beverly. The restaurant feels very cozy and intimate and the servers are friendly. Lots of choices on the menu and prices are a good deal for what you get. I ordered a Thai tea with bubbles. In retrospect I wish I had just gotten regular Thai iced tea. The bubble tea had too much ice so it got watery quickly and the bubbles weren't the best. The scallion pancake was nicely crispy but didn't have much flavor. The curry, however, was delicious. I ordered green curry with beef and my dining partner ordered panang curry with duck. Both dishes came with plenty of meat and vegetables, although I wish there had been more of the curry sauce. Hit the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and just the right consistency for Thai curry, not too thick or too runny. The duck was particularly great as the meat was tender and the skin crispy. Overall a very enjoyable for our first dining experience in Beverly. I would definitely like to come back next time I'm in the area.

Been going here for years - and have tried many of their dishes. My favorite is the ginger chicken stir fry.

The service is not quick enough and the volume of the dish is big. The dishes are Americanized Thai, not the authentic one.

Hadn't been here in a few years so decided to check back in recently. My wife and I dined in…read more Food was as tasty as I remembered, but some issues remained that would prevent me from visiting more regularly. My main gripe was with the green curry (my favorite Thai food): I asked for it "extra spicy". The waitress then said, "okay, so 3 spicy, medium?" And I said, "no, extra spicy. As many spicy as you can make it, I like it very hot". Well, the dish arrived and it was pretty mild. The curry also didn't have a lot to it. Green curry normally has a lot of vegetables, but there were maybe 1 or 2 tiny pieces of bell pepper, a few peas and green beans, but most of the vegetable was the bambo shoots. I'd like to see more "green" in my green curry. The amount of chicken was very weak too, especially for a $17 dish. So overall, the portion was small, at least for a full grown man like me who wasn't about to shell out for a bunch of appetizers on a weeknight. They normally include white rice with the curry dishes, but I remembered that it's always a pretty weak portion, especially considering this is what you need to make the curry dish more substantial in the absence of other ingredients as mentioned above. Instead of ordering an extra white rice, I decided this time to order a side of the sticky rice. Big mistake as it was so tough that I couldn't even get my fork in it. I've had sticky rice before but never had to cut it with a knife. I had planned to integrate it with my green curry but it was obviously a poor choice for that. Not worth the $4, despite the fancy little box it was presented in. My wife's mango fried rice was overall more worthwhile as it seemed more substantial and had a nice flavor. She saved about half of it, which was a pretty good amount for leftover. However, they came back out with a tiny box that made us suspect that they didn't really package all of it. Lastly, we didn't order anything with uncooked greens given the cyclosporiasis outbreak that's currently all over the news. Somehow, I ended up with a piece of lettuce on the table (perhaps stuck to the bottom of one of the dishes - not sure if that's a dishwashing issue or if there's just pieces of lettuce sitting around the kitchen). So that was a bit off-putting. Still, overall this is better than some of the Thai places I've been to. If you go, try some of the iced tea flavors like mango or ginger jasmine - very sweet but in a good way.

Food usually comes out pretty quick and they have lunch specials during the week. Everything I I've had has been really good and I think this has become my go to for Thai food. The reason they lost one star is two part - I don't think their drink prices are as good a value as compared to other options and second, last time we went there were a couple of sub-par chicken pieces in my pad Thai. It hasn't happens any of the other times so I'm not going to fault them terribly for it but will update if it happens again. They're pretty consistent with everything and the service is very friendly here. Definitely recommend this place.

We made reservations just in case online but found that wasn't necessary since there were plenty of tables open. I got to try some of my sister's pad thai basil chicken which was in fact, my favorite that I've had from any place. It was perfectly sweet, spicy, and salty. I liked my Indo fried rice but also felt liked it could have benefited from more of a kick. My mom enjoyed her broccoli Mushrooms beef which could have been better if the sauce was thicker but otherwise the taste was good! To end the meal, we split their Mango Sticky Rice which was the perfect amount of sweetness with some very ripe manngo. Overall, we had a great experience! The staff were beyond kind and more than happy to help. I loved the interior design as well as all the colors and textures which felt very intentional. It's great for either casual or slightly more dressy. Prices are also great for the portions provided. Cannot wait to come again!
