I originally came in for Dubai inspired chocolate pistachio cheesecake but was instead greeted so warmly by head pastry chef Nile! She is full of life and so passionate about her baked goods. Desserts: *Blueberry Ube Cheesecake *Pistachio Ricotta Cake *Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Cake with Biscoff Cookie Butter *Red Velvet Cheesecake Cup Nile just baked the Dubai cake and mentioned she would have a slice for herself that night. It was sweet and decadent for sure. Definitely perfect for sharing! I loved the blueberry ube cheesecake and so did Mom! I was looking for my leftovers and they disappeared from the fridge. Creamy and slightly fruity with that thick buttery crust-- amazing! Pistachio Ricotta cake was light and moist. Perfect when you want something delicately sweetened for tea time. Red Velvet cheesecake cup was just ok for me due to the cheesecake frosting. I think I would've preferred a whole slice of cake instead. This bakery kiosk is a part of Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant Moussaka. Interior has the cutest cafe tables and chairs. Love the grey with baby pink + mint green color scheme. Step inside and go directly to the dessert display to place an order. They're also on DoorDash. Can't wait to see what Chef Nile comes up with next!

Hands down they have the best drinks, cookies, macarons, cakes, and now salt bread! I always come to get treats for my kid's teachers (for their birthdays, teacher appreciation week, just because, etc.). I've brought friends visiting the Bay Area to this bakery, which they have loved. Always Yours also has fun cup sleeve events, macaron classes and afternoon tea from time to time. We love supporting small businesses and this one is definitely worth supporting! P.S. with all these drink places popping up in the area...we still think the drinks at Always Yours not only taste better, but also are of higher quality.

I recently heard about the salt bread at Always Yours, along with the banana pudding matcha latte,…read moreand knew I had to try both. We heard that there had been some long lines recently and that the bread can sell out fast, so he went ahead of me to get in line before they opened, but he said there actually wasn't a line this time. We went on a Sunday afternoon and got two each of the regular and chili oil scallion breads. Once I got to the cafe, I ordered the banana pudding matcha latte. We sat on the bench outside to eat our bread and noticed that it tasted just a *little* like it had been sitting out for a while. I wouldn't describe it as stale, it just didn't have as soft a texture as we expected. However, it tasted absolutely delicious. I'd recommend getting both flavors if you can. The chili oil one wasn't spicy, in my opinion, it just had a kick of chili flavor. The banana pudding matcha latte was a little less successful. The pudding was great, but it just sat on top of the drink. When I mixed it into the matcha, it still wasn't coming through very strong and the drink tasted almost entirely of matcha. It was disappointing because I love banana so much. I think I'd be better off just ordering the banana pudding in the future. I'd like to come back here on a Saturday to see if the bread is a bit fresher, and I'd order the banana pudding rather than the latte.

I literally felt like my stomach was bigger than my eyes, I wanted to try everything. But got a few chocolate covered goodies from kunafa to dates to regular dark chocolate for me and my coworkers. EVERYBODY loved it. My favorite hands down was the chocolate covered date. You HAVE to get that one. I only got a single, but I wish I got like five. You can also pick and choose and they provide you a little baggie to put them all in. They also sell turkish delight which he cuts for you by hand. I really enjoyed the pomegranate one as a nut-allergy girlie. The rose water was a little too rose-y for me. Too floral, it tasted like the smell of a grandma with her potpourri. They also sell nuts and other goodies like Palestinian ceramics. I had to get myself a Falasteeni ceramic magnet. It was so beautiful, painted with olives all over. Zaytoun aesthetic! I tried the guava cotatas (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=cTLFTbTjaq_x1fTUJiKCzw) next; putting it in the toaster oven, I warmed it and the filling was similar to the mango, not too sweet. It's very quiet when I come here and there were only a few people here. I wanted to take my order in person but the employee seems to be too busy in preparing them. I waited for a couple minutes and then decided to order from the Kiosk. The Upside Down Halo Halo was interesting because some of the ingredients were swapped such as Ube ice cream with the yellow one. I don't know what it's called but I'll have to look it up. Usually Halo Halo's main ingredient is Ube ice cream, which is why it's flipped upside down. Anyways, let's talk about what they also included, they included boba, Leche flan, and other flavorful ones, which I don't know what they're called. I may have to research it. I'm surprised that they included boba, which isn't really usual to be a part of this dessert. They all taste good though. It's like other Halo Halo I had from many Filipino restaurants. There are two locations that are near my home: Union City (which is here) and Milpitas. Even though that the one is slightly closer to my location, I came here since I wanted to try going to places in Union City. Definitely will be coming to Milpitas location the next time I go to Cafe 86.
