So, of course, have to stop by here. Friendly workers. There's indoor & outdoor seating. Decided to seat outside in the shade under the trees. Fortunately, not too busy when I went on Tuesday 11:30amish for breakfast. Ordered: -#6 Eggs Milan (with included hashbrown and choice of toasts.) loved that it had pesto sauce on it, too. -Apple cinnamon waffles (with sautéed apples, cinnamon sugar spice and whipped cream, maple syrup on the side). Also pretty delicious & fluffy. Overall, it's worth the meal. Great prices for food and smooth tasting coffee.

It was sooo good! Price ended up around $55 its veryy worth it for the portions and flavor. I included pics too :)

The original management seems to be back and I am so happy there is an authentic Filipino breakfast spot to come back to. My husband and I both really enjoyed our tocino silog with garlic rice and 2 perfect fried eggs. I really enjoyed the tomato and the spice vinegar along side it. The portions are great, and we left with to-go boxes. Really enjoyed the equator coffee as well. We will be back, and look forward to trying the homemade corned beef. Thank you East Bay Cafe Depot! Indoor and outdoor seating both available. Came by for a Saturday lunch and they said the food will take ~45 mins. They were very grateful for our patience and even threw in a plate of sweet pork longanisa on the house for the wait! We shared the pork adobo island d-lite and the Hawaiian char siu chicken burrito. I really enjoyed the pork adobo, it had melt in mouth texture and great flavorful and went really well with the garlic rice. The Hawaiian char siu chicken burrito was good too but I liked the pork adobo plate more. The service was wonderful and they really make you feel at home. Very kind folks, definitely come support them!

I loveee the atmosphere here so much funny pictures on the wall! We were seated and given our menus. I got a hot chocolate of course with my whip cream and my baby got an iced mocha latte. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Skillet'z today. I came in specifically to order…read morethe chicken and waffles, only to be told it is strictly a weekday item. It would be incredibly helpful if this information was actually listed online to save customers a wasted trip. Because my main order wasn't available, I decided not to get food. I had already ordered two iced coffees, so I politely asked the waitress if they were ready yet, noting that if they weren't, I would just like to cancel them. She explicitly lied to me, claiming, "They are ready, sorry," and quickly charged me $18. That was completely untrue. After paying, I was forced to wait 14 minutes for two simple iced coffees. To make matters worse, I watched her serve iced coffees to other tables while completely ignoring mine. When I finally asked her why there was such a delay since she claimed they were already made, she completely flipped, gave me massive attitude, and was incredibly rude. To top it all off: The Drinks Were Awful: The vanilla and caramel iced coffees had absolutely no flavor. They just tasted like bitter, strong coffee. $18 straight into the garbage. No Receipt Provided: When I asked for my receipt, she flat-out refused or failed to provide it to me. The owner seriously needs to look into this employee's behavior and attitude toward paying customers. Lying to prevent a cancellation and then giving attitude when caught is completely unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that values honesty and basic customer service.

My husband's go to is lechon kawali. Perfectly deep fried pork served with the classic Filipino "all purpose sauce". I usually steal one or two pieces off his plate but the serving is a healthy size I could never finish one by myself. My personal fave is beef sinigang. There's a a generous amount of meat and it's always so tender. I would love if they made it a little more sour but that's my personal preference. The protein might be different depending on the day but they've all been good. The place is tiny, maybe like 10 chairs so you might have to wait at prime times. Service is friendly. A couple times they've told me to pick up to go orders at a certain time but I had to wait an additional 15-20min after arriving but not too big of a deal.

We waited about 15 mins to be seated. We ordered while we waited so as soon as we sat down the food was ready, yayyy! They were able to accommodate my 10month old and the high chair was perfect for his size. The place is super tiny so they don't allow strollers inside, and there's also no restroom. Now onto the food. The tosilog was sooo good! The meat was seasoned and grilled perfectly. The java rice is okay, I wish they have garlic rice as an option. Hubby got the longanisa and it was good too. Portions are huge. Service was good even though they had a full house. They're not on DoorDash which is a bummer. We would definitely come back again but not during rush hour.

What a gem of a restaurant!…read more We were looking for some bbq on a Sunday funday and were so glad we stopped by. It's in the grocery outlet plaza. Order at the counter and sit and enjoy kind of place. It's decorated simply with a tv that was playing ufc and we were welcomed by Tim who was so warm and hilarious our entire visit. First thing I noticed was how fairly priced the place is. 1lb of brisket is 30 dollars, potato salad is 5 dollars and soda is 2 dollars (some places charge like 4 bucks for a can!) Ordered, sat down and enjoyed some convo with the order and our food came out in about 10min. If there's one thing to get, it's the brisket fries!! Oh my word, the sauce and cheese all go so well with the bbq. I like how their sauce has a kick to it and isn't overly sweet. The brisket was really tender and smoked well. I personally enjoy fattier pieces of brisket but I bet if I would've asked for those cuts he might've accommodated. The smoked potatoes salad is almost a must. Very unique style of potato salad and pairs well with everything. We noticed they also do catering, and the prices for that also look very reasonable. Would definitely considering using them for our next party!

Normally, we have our own waiters to take our order, serve our food, give us the bill, and pay for it. This one is like ordering from a cafe but serving us breakfast that we usually find from a diner. There is also a display of bakery goods you can select from while you're at it. I don't know if I recall correctly, but we can self-serve complimentary chips and salsa as well as water. And they have hibiscus tea? Pretty much it's ran out already by the time I arrived. Speaking of that, it was very loud here since I came here during the weekend, but it doesn't really bother me as much. I mostly came here for the Ube Pancakes since I have them before and I think that they're famous for having them. Honestly, it's really good and tasted like how I had them back then. The serving was quite huge to the point that I'm almost full. It's expensive though since it's $22. That's quite unusual for just pancakes alone but that probably because of the ingredients they used. The Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet at first but watered down overtime, but that's natural. At least that didn't happen when my drink arrived. I really enjoy my time here and I'm thinking of returning perhaps on weekdays if I can. It's just too hectic here, but it's not to the point that I would leave since I drove about 25 minutes from Fremont for this restaurant. I feel like Ube Pancakes is the only main dish I have so far and so I'm looking forward for other dishes in the future.
