BEST Banana Bread!!!! $3.50 loaf....I've posted before about this little place and usually buy a loaf of the zucchini bread or carrot but this time the BANANA is a stand out. Located in the parking lot BEHIND MAIN street.

I pre-ordered this cake for Fathers Day for $25! Can't beat that price! Can't wait to eat it!

I can't wait to start enjoying these goodies. Pumpkin bread and assorted muffins.

We stopped by Fink's Bakery last night to show our friends where it was located in Hayward. We had a $5 bill left in our pocket and you wouldn't believe what you could buy for $5 there. I love pumpkin and they had pumpkin Loaves for $3 a piece. What a great deal. I couldn't even make a pumpkin loaf for $3. They also had assorted muffins for in a pack $2. That's $0.50 a piece guys. What do you pay for a muffin at Dunkin Donuts on Noah's? This place is a no brainer.

Not only are you able to purchase from their bakery case, you can also request to have desserts made for special events! (In advance of course.) I very much enjoy their macarons and fresh fruit tarts. They also added Banana Matcha to their menu when it became a craze, and I 10/10 would recommend it. They use high quality matcha powder (Marukyu Koyamaen) for their drinks. This is one of the few things that drew me into their cafe. The baristas are extremely friendly and have a wonderful sense of humor, AND they support small businesses! While you wait for your order, you can browse their shelf full of crystal candies, matcha sets, candles, and they may also have Natsume matcha tins available! (This is not the matcha they use in their drinks, but it's nice to have other options available to buy.) ^^ So if you're in the East Bay and are looking for a business to support, go to Always Yours Bakery Cafe (they're also available on the Too Good To Go app)! I usually go to the Pleasanton spot but happened to be nearby and wanted to get a cake for Mother's day. I understand that because it is a holiday that they were going to be busy, but it was incredibly disorganized inside with people cutting in and out of line at the counter and the staff were too busy to redirect customers or take orders. Incredibly frustrating as there were several instances of people just cutting their way in line and just placing their orders/getting served ahead of everyone else by just walking straight up to the register. When it came to my turn the staff asked for my order then turned around and instead went and took care of someone who had cut in front straight to the register to buy bread when I had already been waiting in line for awhile. They did not even bother asking if they had been waiting there before or had cut the line, the staff just skipped me just because that person had gone straight up to the register. Incredibly frustrating situation and I just did not want to get into it with the line cutter or the staff. Was still able to pick up the cake but I would skip this place since they can't even set up a system for a line/queue. Go to the Pleasanton spot instead and skip this spot.

After studying their menu, I decided to try a couple things. I started with the mango cotatas (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=cGdFOvjjZDLkViOf_ixRKw), which I reheated a couple mornings later for breakfast. The shell was slightly flaky yet not oily nor dry, filled with a mildly sweet mango jam. I tried the guava cotatas (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=cTLFTbTjaq_x1fTUJiKCzw) next; putting it in the toaster oven, I warmed it and the filling was similar to the mango, not too sweet. I gifted a cornbread (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=WHXSJl1aCMqIJFWrah1iOw) to my friend and she enjoyed it though a bit difficult to eat with the husk there. Big thanks to Jo Jo and Ricky and welcome to the Ferry farmer's market. I appreciate your friendliness and generosity.

Guava Coyota: Not sure I've ever had anything like this. It was like two flaky shells with a bunch of a sticky guava paste in the middle. The sign describes it like a cookie empanada. I'm kinda thinking it's like a cookie poptart. Either way, so delicious. Mango Coyota: Same great cookie exterior, but with a sweet seasonal mango jam filling inside. It's close, but I think I liked this one even more than the guava. Cornbread: Very dense. Kind of has a bread pudding texture instead of that grainy cornbread texture I'm used it. Random corn husk baked in, which I guess is nice for visuals, but doesn't serve any other purposes.
