So I made a reservation early in the afternoon to pick me up in Newport beach to go to lax for a 5:55a flight for business. It booked me a 2:30a pick up time. At 2:00a I got a call saying they weren't going to be able to pick me up anymore and now last minute I had to find my own way to the airport. This is the absolute worst shuttle service in the world! If you want to miss your flight or pay wayyy too much for last minute transportation or want to lose your job book this company. I hope no one ever books through them again. I hope you go out of business very soon. read more

I was extremely worried they wouldn't show because the deal was too good to be true and nobody on their phone line could answer my call or confirm anything with me. But he showed up 10 minutes early in Laguna Niguel which anyone knows is very far from LAX. For 20 bucks or whatever it was, this is unreal. I hope they stay in business forever. Driver was good and helped me load my bags. read more

4 HOUR WAIT! 8 phone calls and 2 attendants later - they told me to find other transportation. Both attendants (1st skinny young black lady, 2nd Indian older guy) ignored everyone waiting. The 2nd attendant told me all the drivers quit and that this problem happens everyday. He did mention I paid only "50%" through Shuttle2LAX to use PrimeTime Shuttle which also implies to me why I was ignored. This should not matter how they treat their customers. There was no offer to reimburse me for other transportation. Shuttle2LAX is basically a service to charge your credit card and a headache to get a refund (there's no phone number on the web. UPDATE: I replied to "Paul S.'s copy and paste response with my reservation #. No response the past 3 weeks. I contacted their Customer Service. Just some Filipinos who speak broken English. They told me it my refund request will be sent for review and I would receive a response in 3-5 business days. After this happened 3 times in a row, I figured this was their broken English script. I never received a refund. They even said it was not their fault - that I was lucky I got picked up at all - that I should have expected to wait 4 hours. Unbelievable! read more

For pick up's from home it is OK. But don't use it for getting picked up from LAX. I fly every other week and have averaged a wait time of 1 hour waiting for them at the airport. Service is awful. Bad customer service. Stay away from them!!! read more

I booked Prime Time Shuttle for the first time last week through Shuttle2LAX.com and had a terrible experience. Fraudulent charges on my credit card that I tried to get refunded but had a worse experience with rude customer service. Avoid Shuttle2LAX.com and Prime Time Shuttle at all costs, they will ruin your trip! Not worth the $5 in savings over other shuttle services to LAX. read more

I put one star because they make you put at least one to review it. Shuttle2LAX, Primetime whatever it is they are the worst service from LAX ever! Do not use them! What a rip off. read more

Thanks for nothing! Waited to be 15mn late for dispatch to call me and tell me my driver was stuck in traffic and behind schedule, and he wouldn't make it but they would refund me! Well thanks if you do refund me but what I needed was to get to the airport on time to catch my flight which is already with connexions and stressful. It's LA, and anyone knows how to anticipate traffic, especially shuttle companies which only job is to drive people from point A to point B. I guess even Uber is more reliable... and shuttle2lax didn't even offer to send another driver. Just refund which wasn't helpful at all. read more

I tried to save a few dollars and ended up having to wait for 45 min for my pick-up. I called for a refund as my 30 min pick up window had expired only to be told that the "wakeup call" they gave me that morning informed me that the pick-up time had changed. Hello?!?!? I was already up and ready to go. We have to give at least 6 hours notice of a change in reservations. They could be courteous and do the same especially since my pick up time was 3:45 am - 4:15 am. DO NOT USE THEM!!! NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS!!! read more

This has got to to be the worst shuttle company in the world. My girlfriend and I decided that it's best for her to book a shuttle since I wasn't able to get off work to pick her up at LAX from Orange County. We thought it was the more efficient way for her to get home without waiting for me since this is the LA traffic we are talking about. As I got home at 4, she was already waiting for the shuttle to come.As it was already late, she told me that it would come in 15 minutes as she was told. At this time, we talked for a good 40 minutes and the shuttle still hasn't come. I contacted the company and I told the the situation and they told me that the shuttle will come in 15 minutes but at this, I wanted the refund already. We decided to wait for another 15 minutes and to no avail, no shuttle. I then contacted the company again and they told me that the van will come in 8 minutes which was a lie because she waited another 8 minutes and no van. I then contacted the company again and they said just a different will be there shortly and this we were done waiting for the van so she booked a super shuttle and got a van immediately. I proceeded to ask for the refund and they said they will process within 5 days so lets see if they are going to refund her or not, stay tuned for an update. PS This also happened the last trip we took, we waited for more than an hour at the airport. Last time we will be using them. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY NEED TO STEAL MONEY IN ORDER TO SUPPLY "CHEAP" SHUTTLES!! read more

I'm not sure exactly what their game is, but something is wrong here. I booked a round-trip with them on their website yesterday morning - I hate these ride shares because of the extra time that they take, but the price caught my eye. I expected to receive a confirmation email detailing who would be picking me up and how to contact them (just like it says on their website). When I still hadn't received an email from them by the afternoon I started a chat session with them. They told me that they had resent my confirmation and no too worry. Oooook, but still no email. I checked my spam folder of course, and I was able to email a copy of my chat session to the same address, but nothing from them detailing my reservation. So I try again today, but things go even worse, the person i'm chatting with appears to have an attitude. Odd, it all seems pretty simple to me - if you for whatever reason can't send me the details via email, well, we're chatting now, just TELL ME? Nope, instead the individual says "sent you the email" and terminates the chat session. Still no email of course. Cancelled the "reservations", I'm not risking missing my flight on some fly-by-night, maybe legitimate, maybe not legitimate operation. All they did was waste my time. read more

We keep getting more and more lies from these folks. A while ago, it was $20 and it really was. Then they added a $1 service charge: for what? Then I was offered a $20 rate with a $2.95 service charge but, when I posted about that, I was told it is a mistake. Now there's an apology for a miscommunication, and we're told it's to cover what's charged by the airport. Which airport, ShuttletoLAX? I was looking to book to Burbank, but you didn't know that. And Long Beach? And Ontario? These folks are shady and I, for one, won't use them again. read more

In good faith we signed up for Shuttle2LAX. They provided no means to cancel or contact them in case of unforeseen problems. We panicked when we found out our flight was later than we thought. The website provides only email to contact them. I sent two emails to contact them that we would be late; one from their website and one from my gmail. They did not reply. They did not inform me that Shuttle2LAX was really Prime Time Shuttle. So even when we landed their was no way to find them; their people are Prime Time Shuttle and we were looking for Shuttle2LAX. Even the information desk at LAX never heard of them. We had to rent a car to get home. By all rights they should be responsible for that too. But they greedily charged us and refused to return our money for services we never received. They have unfair business practices and make it impossible to contact them. read more

Le sigh! Given my other experience you would think I learned my lesson. They say a hard head makes for a soft behind and thank God mine is pretty soft because I have been sitting on it for over 40 minutes now. The thing about this company is its cheap and I am cheap so one would instantly be lured in by that $20 deal especially when most shuttles and taxi's charge you $$$! But what's cheap usually ain't good. You will wait even if you had a reservation, you will wait and wait for a shuttle to pick you up; you will wait so long that you may start to consider just walking home (I live in Pasadena and it had crossed my mind). Only take this if you have all the time in the world and the patience of a saint, otherwise take the Fly Away or tell a friend you'll give them your first born for a pick up. Don't do it! read more

This business is operated by the red Prime Time shuttles. Their estimated pick up time is "a fake time" as stated by the man at the Prime Time lollipop sign. It took 45 min to get picked up and another 30 min to leave LAX. All the while about 10 blue Super Shuttles stopped at the adjacent Super Shuttle stop, probably one every 3 minutes and picked up their passengers. Was unfortunately the last dropped off and it took a total of 3.5 hours from the time I exited to ground level and from the time I was dropped off at my destination. I will never use Prime Time/Shuttle 2 LAX again. read more

Paul from their marketing department contacted me after my review. He put permanent notes on each driver's record and refunded one of the 2 charges for our trouble. While I sincerely appreciate the efforts on his part, I would be hesitant to try this particular shuttle service again, especially with my children. read more

If you're looking to pay someone to not show up and leave you out in the cold then look no further. After having a successful drop-off with them I decided to book them again. 20$ can't argue with that right? Think again you're better off walking hypothermia sounds like a better way to go than waiting for a shuttle that will never show up. read more

I will not be booking with this company in the future. I waited an hour and a half for my shuttle. Wasn't told that they use other companies to shuttle their customers so it was really frustrating watching shuttles stoping and going but not being allowed to board because they had already assigned a shuttle to me. They should be honest and not provide us with a pick up time from LAX. Pick up is whenever it suits them and we just have to wait. Super Shuttle seems like a better option. The customer service via chat was super slow which made me initially think this company was a scam since they don't accept calls. All of the numbers listed on google for them either take you to a call that drops and hangs up or gives you a busy signal. The agent at check in was nice however, she did her best to assure me that the shuttle was eventually coming. I will try super shuttle next time. If that fails, I'll just take a taxi or uber. I already have a reservation with this company to be picked up from my hotel and driven to LAX. I will update my review to reflect that experience. read more

The worst service i've ever received from a shuttle2lax service. i had a shuttle BOOKED in advance to pick me up at 7:30pm. After multiple calls and being numerously "led on" to believe that someone was actually picking me up, nothing had happened. I waited 2 hours at my location. The fact that the customer service ensured me that i would have a shuttle in 15 minutes, then having to realized that they lied. they called me at the last minute and told me they wont be able to send any ride for me so find your way to lax. i almost missed my flight i will never use this ever again. and they didn't even refund my money until i called them and ask for my refund. read more

Listen up all Yelp USERS. Yesterday my husband, who is handicapped and has a service dog, was refused on to a van at LAX. The driver, informed my husband that dogs are dirty and they need to put it into a box. ASuper shuttle driver told the Prime Time driver that it's against the law not to transport a service dog. The driver refused to do so regardless and drove away. We had a standing reservation and informed the shuttle co. of the service dog. It is against ADA guidelines. My husband had to wait 2 hours more at the airport before another van arrived. read more

This is the worst service ever!!! You may not have to pay very much, but if you have any chance of sanity after a long day of traveling (or before a long day) then DO NOT use this shuttle. I have waited multiple times for over an hour just to get picked up. The people who work here are clearly incompetent and have no interest in helping you at all. This is a joke of a company. read more

They were responsive and apologetic. I appreciate that they refunded my charge and tip.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone wanting to get to the airport on time, as they are late before and this time they didn't even show up. They said the phone number was wrong, yet I called them 15 after they were supposed to be at my place, saying the driver would be there in 20 minutes. Then I called after 1 hour, they told me to find another ride to the airport and It was my falt and they would not refund my money, when their driver never even showed up. This was the 2nd and last time I've had a bad experience with this company. Thanks for nothing Shuttles and Precious for your exceptional customer service. I just learned about this app today and used it for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. I get that there are some major issues and people have experienced delays. My friend also had a 30min delay once, but still uses them b/c of all the other great rides and money savings. My ride was great. I chose the share option, so one more passenger was picked up at LAX after me, and my total cost (excluding tip) on a Friday evening, around 7:30pm, was $21!!! I checked both Uber and Lyft and both were over $80 for a shared ride and the same rout. My driver was super nice and we had a candid talk about some of the challenges this company is facing now that they've transitioned to an App. I hope that with time, they smooth out the bumps and offer great and cost effective service. I also loved that my driver was diffusing lemongrass oil in the car, and not using any of those toxic chemical ridden 'air fresheners.' My suggestion - until they improve their service, hold on using them for getting to the airport on time, but for the return ride, or other non 'rush' situations, I think the could be a fantastic solution. And refrain from the share option if you're in a hurry. You kinda get what you pay for. read more

I just finished taking your "survey" online. Six questions hardly make a survey. There was no option to provide feedback or specifics of our experience and although I don't expect that you will care, I am emailing you to satisfy my disgust with your service. First, although we booked a shuttle through your company, you outsourced our transportation to "Prime Time" shuttle service. They picked us up on time, but that was the extent of the good service. The driver to the airport drove erratically, weaving through lanes, driving and typing into the GPS at the same time, and speeding at times. At least we made our flight on time. It was the return trip that was the most horrible experience. We were scheduled for the return shuttle at 10:30 pm for a flight that was supposed to land at 10:00. That gave us a tight window to claim our baggage and catch the shuttle. When we found out that our flight was pushed back to an arrival time of 10:15 we knew we wouldn't make the scheduled shuttle. We called the service and were told not to worry about it, that we could just catch another one if we checked in by 11:00 pm, when they "closed". We arrived at the curbside Prime Time stand at 10:35 pm. The attendant was rude, non-communicative, and vague in response to our request for the shuttle we were promised. We watched as literally dozens of "Super Shuttles" passed us by. We were finally able to board an Orange County bound shuttle at 11:40 pm. Another woman joined us and then two more at the next stand. The driver was quick to get going. He took off like a bat out of hell and drove recklessly down the freeway, going 80 miles per hour at times. He also blasted the air conditioner (outside temp was only 74 degrees), making everyone on the shuttle uncomfortably cold and frantically trying to close vents. Then, following his GPS, he got off the 105 freeway where it ended in Norwalk for the first drop off in Fullerton. He took city streets for 10 miles instead of just getting on the 5 freeway ( a more direct route) and got he lost at a road closure. It took 30 minutes longer than necessary to drop off the first woman. Then he went from Fullerton to Anaheim (by Disneyland) and dropped off two young women at 12:30 am at a motel that was closed and said "No Vacancy". Absolutely irresponsible!! Then, he was finally on the way to our house. By this time, I was feeling sick from all of the abrupt stops, starts and turns (I don't usually get carsick) and had a pounding headache. On the final leg of the freeway, he received a call on his cell phone. He answered it and had a conversation (illegal in California), almost missing our off-ramp. We finally arrived home at 1:15 in the morning. My children were exhausted, hungry and also feeling sick from the incredibly long and bumpy ride. We will never, ever book a shuttle from Shuttle2LAX or Prime Time Shuttle again! read more

I wouldnt know how it is to actually ride with them cause it was such a pain in the ass trying to book the shuttle. I tried booking online and it told me to wait a few minutes while booking. Then after a half an hour it never went through. They have no call center so theres no way to talk to a human being. Just dont do it. Its awful. read more

I should have went on Yelp and read all the reviews before booking! Same story. I booked in advance and the day before my scheduled 6:30am pickup, they texted and emailed me every hour beginning 3am just to remind me that a driver was coming. At 6am they called me to say a driver WAS NOT coming. Apparently their shuttle has technical issues and no way of getting to us. As I was reading other reviews, this seems to be the norm. read more

Beware! If your flight is Canceled, they will not reschedule or refund your money. You lose your money, it's part of "their contract terms". You must alert them 6 hours ahead. My flight this am was cancelled by American and rescheduled for tomorrow. For shuttle I have to Re-buy my van service. Also for Customer service they do not answer phone until after 9am. Shuttle2LAX re-assign van service to one of their subsidiaries and claim they are separate. Totally unfair Customer Service. read more

Horrible service. I scheduled an appointment to be picked up at 11:10AM to be brought to the airport. Didn't hear a word from them, not to mention there was no number to call. I ordered an uber because I couldn't risk missing my flight. Half way to the airport, around 12:30, they finally showed up to the apartment saying that they were there...over an HOUR late. Completely unacceptable. Do not call this service unless you are willing to wait over an hour for it to come. On top of everything, they still charged my account! Definitely going to request to get this refunded. read more

I've only used this service once, but I will use in the future. Many people have posted negative reviews about this company, but I don't understand why. Now, you may have to wait 10-20 minutes when you arrive to the airport, but it beats paying an ridiculous amount to park at the airport or off. Then, you have to navigate through LA traffic after a long flight and many hours at the airport(s). You just sit back, listen to music or watch a movie on your Ipad and relax until you get home. Some people have stated that they have had some difficulty finding company representatives at the airport, bjt there are at least three of them outside of baggage claims. I would've given them 5 stars, but you may have to wait a little bit after checking-in. All in all...I would used them again just to avoid LA traffic, especially during rush hour! read more

FEMALES BEWARE!!!! Let me set the scene on April 8, 2014....The pick up from the airport was fine, dropping off the 3 men on the shuttle before me was fine.... It was when I was alone with the driver after that that was a nightmare. Other than cussing at other drivers the first part of the trip, the driver was quiet. Once everyone but me was left in the shuttle, he was talking a mile a minute. Subject of the conversation for him?... Sex, being my boyfriend, how pretty I was, would I hug him, etc. At first I laughed it off, but this sucker was persistent. When I told him I have been happily married for 18 years, he said I must have boyfriends, and if not, he wanted to be one. Said we could have lots of fun, hubby doesn't have to know. I felt very uncomfortable the rest of the ride while he continued to compliment my looks. Of course, in retrospect, I should have taped the nasty perv, but was only thinking about getting home at that point after a long trip. Thank god hubby was waiting outside for me, so no hug for the freak. Within minutes, my husband called the company and was told a manager would call the next day. ***Two days later and no call from anyone *** I called the company and was once again told a manager would call me the next day. Today is the two week anniversary, and still nothing. Tried calling first this morning, but the hold time and music was too much. I did a live chat option at the bottom of my reservation email (# SL5134705 for whichever employee/manager reads this and tries to make amends) and after 8 minutes of waiting for a "live chat" was told he was "talking to a manager". Several minutes later I was asked for my contact number and told a manager, Dianna, would call me in 8 minutes. That was at 10:03am. Well at 6:24 pm, I have yet to talk to anyone. As promised, I told them I would write a Yelp review, and now I think I will email several lawyers about their failure to follow up on a sexual harassment claim. Men, I think you're safe. Women, DON'T DO IT!!! Anyone know a good sexual harassment attorney??? 1 star is 1 too many. UPDATE... April 29th now, still no call from a manager, but got a refund of $20 in my bank account with no warning. Thanks guys, but doesn't fix your employee issue. read more

Terrible experience with a rude driver when I was picked up (late) for the airport. I was the first pick up at 4:55 am and this driver must have either gotten no sleep or is just emotionally unbalanced. He was a Prime Time driver. I also posted this review under "Prime Time Shuttle" because it is the same service. Having used this service happily for a ride to LAX from Whittier a couple of months ago, I booked for a round trip to LAX last Thursday and home from LAX Monday night. My pick up was scheduled for 7:10 Thursday morning, the shuttle arrived at 7:50- by which point we were becoming quite concerned that it would actually arrive. Arrive it did and I was delivered to LAX in time for my departure. When I arrived to LAX this past Monday, I checked in for my van at 10:42pm. There was one lady waiting. I was given a van assignment along with the lady who was waiting. A couple arrived and the curbside attendant recruited another lady who was walking by for a ride. Then, the attendant told me that I had been removed from the van assignment and he would tell me when I had a new van assignment. The lady who had been waiting when I arrived was picked up. A Prime Time van drove by and didn't stop. Then the couple and newly recruited ride who arrived after me were picked up. I asked about my van assignment. I still did not have a van assignment. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked again - still no assignment. During this time 2 more Prime Time vans drove by without stopping. After 45 minutes I asked again. The attendant told me to call customer service- the phone number that was in my confirmation email. I called customer service. There was no answer other than the automated answering which was telling me to hold, which I did for 5 minutes, then I hung up. I tried again. Again automated answering. I asked the attendant if he would contact the customer service. He explained that it was not his job. He explained that his job was to watch over the customers waiting and to send the first message to the office so that they would assign vans to the customers. He explained that Prime Time knew I was there, knew I needed a van. It was up to them, those people sitting in front of the computer screen, to assign me a van. That was NOT his job. I called my husband in Whittier, who had to wake up my young children up at midnight and put them in the car to drive to LAX to pick me up. I told the attendant that my husband would be coming to pick me up. He cancelled my van and told me that I would get a refund. No apologies, no nothing. I was really blown away by the total lack of customer service. BEWARE of using this service as they may not be there for you. The blue van service located beside them is twice the price, but they look to be much more reliable. read more

They take forever to pick you up from the airport. It seems that they do not have enough fans to circulate around Southern California forcing their customers to wait a very long time. I reserved the shuttle and then came to Yelp to read up on reviews. I worried my shuttle would be late and prepared to have a backup. My pick up time was 8:15am, but was changed to be earlier - 8:05am from a local university (as requested). I arrived 15 minutes early and the driver was already sitting and waiting there. I was his first pick up. We departed from the university perfectly on time and headed to pick up the next person. No issues from my side - very polite driver, I fell asleep on the ride to the airport. Arrived earlier than the reservation stated. No hassles, no stress. Rode from OC to LAX. Would definitely use their service again. PROS - Driver tells you how many pick ups they have Trackable and gives you a call to ask if you're ready. Even better than the service I receive on SuperShuttle CONS - None as of yet, not sure what the issue is with the reviewers below. read more
