They went ahead and charge me the cancellation fee. No response from them regarding the horrible service. I emailed the company and sent them a screenshot of the conversation I had with Gail. I can assure you that I will never use your company again and have informed all my colleagues as well as friends about the lack of service that was provided. read more

Shuttle2LAX - Horrible service provided by Gail. She refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor and proceeded to end our chat abruptly. - Airport Shuttles Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Whether you like this service or not, all depends on your expectations. For what you get, this is decent. The driver's focus is two things, get as many passengers as possible and drive on time, with the first taking a much higher priority. The van takes 8 passengers. So if you take it FROM LAX then expect it to take a couple of rounds around the airport to fill up the van and that might take a while (20-60 min). If you take it from your home then expect it to adjust your time to fit as many passengers as possible. I always try and leave about 15-30 min of room for error. If you're taking it from your home you can also track the van to make sure it gets there on time. One thing to note is that this service pretty much always uses PrimeTime. They seem to be more aggressive in filling up the van. SuperShuttle usually only needs about 4 passengers and they might leave after that but obviously the price difference is quite a bit. I've only taken this service 3 times. 2 times from LAX which it took me about 3-4 hours to get home to Irvine. The one time I took it from my home was a bit more pleasant and I got to the airport within 2 hours though I was lucky enough that we only made three stops (2 were families). So yeah, just keep your expectations in check. read more

Ever since I heard about Shuttle2LAX I have used them and been a fan. I have never had any problems with pickups. I live near Burbank Airport and am usually the first one going to LAX and the last one coming from LAX because the driver often has a pickup/dropoff at Burbank Airport before/after me. I always get a call letting me know the driver is on the way and I've always gotten to the airport in plenty of time, even when we've had to wait for other passengers. Coming home, yes you will circle LAX a time or two depending on your airline, but all the shuttles do that. I haven't had to wait long for my van to arrive and the driver is always attentive. Funny thing is that it's usually a van from a service that I will not book with due to the driver passing my exit on the freeway and getting me home eventually one hour later. But when I book through Shuttle2LAX, that never happens. And you can't beat the price! read more

This is probably the WORST shuttle service that you could possibly use. Our "shuttle" was a Prius which showed up with the trunk FULL and two other customers... We had the driver of the Prius call "dispatch" to get us another car. The "shuttle service" was already later than we were promised (we couldn't change the time to an earlier one because their "policy" says that it has to be a minimum of 6 hours before pick up time) and now we are standing in front of our home watching the minutes tick by waiting for the next "shuttle" to pick us up. Now we will probably be late for our flight because of this ridiculous company. This is utter bull shit and I will make sure to turn EVERYONE and ANYONE I know away from this company. Might I add, the online customer service was absolutely horrendous. This company is horrible. read more

Given the "budget" nature of Shuttle2LAX (it's $20!), it's definitely one of those "your mileage may vary" services, but... This review is for an early morning shuttle (first possible time slot for $20 pickup, 7:15am). I waited for 30 minutes at the curb (part of this time I wandered down the terminals looking for an agent "in familiar red", part of the time on hold since there was no agent to be found -- no one ever answered -- and part of the time commiserating with others I finally found that were also sharing my cold, tired fate) before I used the "chat with us now" button located at the bottom of the confirmation email and was able to chat with a rep. She informed me using online chat is the quickest means, and now that I had "checked in" (?) a van had been assigned to me and dispatched. The rep was very nice. The van came a few minutes later. The driver was very jovial and pleasant to drive with. When we made the rounds to other pickup points at LAX there were lots of others waiting for rides. I'll admit whilst I stood there on hold, I saw that super shuttle DID have an agent at the curb present, and I debated paying the extra and going with them. (Prime Time was looking pretty dubious.) This might be a result of taking an early shuttle. But for the cost, you can't really expect too much. read more

***Update 8-30-14****Wish I could give this place negative stars. I actually thought their message to me on yelp meant they were trying to right their wrong. After contacting them 2 times by email no one has ever gotten back to me. Never again! First of all, I booked with Shuttle2LAX and they contracted my bookings out to Prime Time Shuttle. I made two separate round trip bookings so my family and friends could all meet at the airport and go directly home from the airport. I received several emails stating that the pick up times were changed due to unforseen circumstances. In each case the time was moved earlier and earlier. My family and I saw our shuttle pull up to our house 2 hours early. We continued to finish packing and wait until our appropriate pick up time to take our luggage out. We decided to place our items out a few minutes early. We waited outside until it was 10 minutes past our pick up time. I finally decided to walk down to the van and knock on the window. The driver appeared startled as he moved to the drivers seat. He rolled down the window and said his alarm didn't go off and he thanked me for waking him up. On top of everything else, his navigation wasn't working so we had to help him get to his stops for a while. The driver for my other reservation that same morning showed up an hour late. No reason was given at all. Why change the pick up times when you're going to be late anyway? We had a wonderful vacay in between our shuttle madness. The pickup at lax was even worse. Why is it even necessary to give this company arrival flight information? They don't use it. You may have a reservation but you still have to wait about an hour for a shuttle to arrive. The shuttle coordinators have no concept of estimated time of arrival. I am in shuttle #997. I can see on his screen that he has to go to another terminal to pick up the remaining two passengers. This guy picks thee passengers up and makes a full circle around the airport. He made sure to stop at each Super Shuttle post to ask each coordinator if they had anyone else. Why use your fancy electronic device that sends you the names and addresses of the passengers? Instead this guy did it old school, literally driving from terminal to terminal. Moral of the story, don't look for cheaper transportation opportunities on your way back home from vacation. You will be tired from all the fun and traveling. You definitely won't be in the mood to deal with this garbage. It's not worth it! read more

Don't use this service! The company yanked around my friend for hours despite her having scheduled a pick-up in advance, only to be told finally that they had canceled it. She is fighting to get a full refund, which she should not have to do, since they did not provide the service! Oh, hey! Paul S. must have majored in "copy and paste," because clearly that's all he knows how to do. Slow clap. I suggest everyone here who's had a negative experience report this business to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE, HORIBLE, and there is no one to call to talk to. I booked a 6:05pm shuttle to LAX from Costa Mesa on a Thursday evening. My flight was not until 11pm but I was meeting my girlfriend at the airport and I had some other administrative things to do at LAX. I showed up at the pickup point at 5:45pm. At 5:55pm I got a text that my ride was 9 minutes away... perfect. at about 6:02pm I got a message that my ride would arrive at 6:35pm. OK, i thought... knowing it is impossible to predict traffic. Then I got a message saying the ride would arrive at 7:05pm. I called the 1-800 customer service number, which is a joke, because you cannot talk to a real person... but it DOES refer you to on-line chat... again OK, I guess, i guess this keeps costs down. On the chat I had someone instantly ask, "How can we help?" Great! they really do care! I stated the situation and told them I needed to get to the airport sooner... Hello? Is anybody helping me? They disappeared and I never got a reply. I stayed on the chat for 20 minutes and they never replied. I just got back from my trip last night and i got online and opened a Chat window with them again. Same result... instant reply and then they disappeared when I asked for a refund because they did not pick me up on time. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS IS JUST A ROLL OF THE DICE and way too risky if you want to be on time. read more

I can't stress this enough! After spending 5 hours in planes the last thing you want to do is get picked up by Shuttle 2 LAX/Prime Time Shuttle at the Airport. Over 2 hours waiting for Shuttle 2 LAX for pick up from the airport, after having a pre-booked confirmed reservation and pick up time of 3:25 in the afternoon, waited until 5:45 to finally get picked up after multiple tries chatting with them on the APP, which was useless, since apparently the customer service people are in the Philippines and have no clue what's going on...told twice the wait would be 30-45 mins on the APP, after the first bad estimate asked for the customer service phone number, and was told if I wanted to upgrade they could get me a car faster, If I PAID. Asked to speak with a Supervisor, who was the first person who even acknowledged the company did something wrong, he mentioned the terms and conditions on the website state the wait time can vary? Feel free to read the Terms here... https://www.shuttletolax.com/terms/ There's nothing that states anything about a reservation can take over 2 hours to fulfill and the company multiple times offered to refund my money and suggested to find an alternate way home...What sort of customer service is that? It took 4 hours to get home due to having to be driven in rush hour traffic. The only positive of this experience, was the driver who was very understanding and courteous. read more

Extremely terrible. customers beware. Even though their website accepts your reservation and charges your credit card, you will not know if you really have a shuttle coming to pick you up til it gets there. I got a call an hour before my scheduled pick up telling me all their vans were full and I would have to find alternative means to get to the airport. It took me awhile to find a taxi who serviced my area. They shouldn't be accepting your reservation or even taking your money unless they are committed to providing you transportation. May not be worth the stress....give Supershuttle a call instead. read more

Shuttle2lax left me stranded at LAX. Being disabled and not able to climb up into the high minivans they use I ordered their premier/car service. The premier service is more expensive but my needs make it necessary. When I arrived at LAX a driver told me he was my driver. He had a huge minivan and I couldn't even attempt to get in without causing myself considerable pain. I explained to him that I had ordered the premier service because I need a car. He told me that the despatch sent him. He called his despatch and they told him to tell me they don't have a car. I had to tell him to leave as there was no point standing arguing with him. I called their customer service and spoke to an extremely rude and ignorant young woman. She said I should have let the driver try to help me in the van. I kept repeating to her I am disabled and trying to climb into that van would cause problems and pain for me but she just keep repeating I should have let him help. In the end I said to her "what is it you don't understand?, I ordered and paid for a car because I am unable to climb into a van. I cannot use a van. Then she came back with you didn't say you were disabled when you booked. I tried to explain if I booked the premium service I didn't need to explain my disability as premium service is a,car, and I can easily get in a car. I asked her if she was sending a,car or not and then she said she, wasn't as I was a no show. HOW COULD I BE A NO SHOW ? I had been there speaking to the driver and to her, THEY WERE THE NO SHOW! There was I , a disabled 72 year old lady stranded at the airport at almost midnight. I had to make other arrangements to get home but what a dreadful experience it was. I would never, ever use them again. read more

They will cancel on you after having you wait for over an hour. Do believe all the reviews here, even if someone got lucky and got picked up fine, doesn't mean you will get that lucky. Seriously, this company conducts very fish business, dont bother wasting your time with them. read more

I've used this service many times before. Service was usually not fast but it was inexpensive. Service has changed. The dispatcher (who has great customer service) was arguing with the drivers, none who seemed interested in doing their job. One driver confirmed with me and another party that he would take me home. He seemed to waiting for one more customer, getting the most bang for his buck Another party showed up and he started to load us up. Then he realized that he didn't have enough room in his car so he bumped me. AND I HAD BEEN WAITING THERE LONGER THEN ANYONE ELSE!! I cancelled my ride. The dispatcher was very sweet, apologized, and even said the company would pay the difference if I paid more than my original fee to get home. WOW! That's pretty good service! But when I tried to chat online with customer service, there initial response was "your ride has been cancelled". I told "Leah" that doesn't address what I wanted to talk about. Then I got a long form answer in which they apologized. Again. The response didn't address what I wanted to talk about. These people do not care. The service they offer is awful. To tell me they would give me a ride home one minute, and to bump me the next... Don't use this service. You will regret it read more

Do not book this service! They are very unreliable. Booked a car with this company in advance. Arrived to Los Angeles and waited an HOUR for the freaking car! Couldn't even contact the company and they kept us on hold al the time! Had an awful experience! I definitely recommend to use a different type of transportation! Have no idea why this company has any good rating. read more

I took a chance on this shuttle service despite the abysmal reviews. NEVER AGAIN. The ride to the airport was pleasant, but the driver showed up 40 minutes early and we weren't ready! Our scheduled ride home from the airport after our trip never happened because the driver just left. Yes, our flight was delayed. Their website says "no problem!" if this happens because the driver supposedly tracks the flight. We are now waiting for our $100 Uber home at 11 at night. Not impressed. read more

Worst service ever. The old shuttle busses were excellent but this new Opoli service is terrible. Worse than terrible. Never again. Thanks.

I was waiting to be picked up at LAX for my 10pm reservation. I patiently waited until around 10:20pm. I spent the next 30 minutes trying to contact someone at the company using the app chat, to no avail. Finally around 11pm someone called to say that a driver was being dispatched. While on the phone for more than 10 minutes while a driver was being dispatched, I was suddenly told that my ride was cancelled and I would have to find another way to get home. I was offered a discount for my next ride but why would I want to use such an unreliable company?? Unless I am offered a full refund, I will make a point to dissuade friends and family from using this terrible service. Where's the zero stars option? read more

ZERO STARS IF I COULD! NEVER AGAIN! All things you seek from a transportation service- on time, reliable, efficient, good customer service, etc.- is not present with Shuttle2LAX. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE JOKE AND I HOPE THAT NOBODY GETS TRICKED INTO BOOKING THEIR SERVICES LIKE I DID. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND SHOULD FRANKLY NOT BE IN THIS BUSINESS. I booked transportation for my parents who are seniors round trip from Glendale to LAX. I should have known not to rely on the reservations as the trip to LAX the driver showed up 25 minutes late, which caused a ton of stress for both my parents, and in conversation the driver mentioned that he was late because the scheduling was made poorly and he came from the other side of town. Luckily my parents made it on the plane, but when traveling is already stressful during these times, you hope that a car service doesn't add to the stress. The return from LAX to Glendale is the part that takes the cake... the company had the audacity to show my a driver was assigned and on the way on the app, but then called the contact phone number of my mom to state they would be an hour late as they didn't have any drivers. When I spoke to her the assigned driver was actually at LAX, but was picking up someone else. The company, who specializes in picking up and dropping off, had double booked the driver. Not to mention this was at 12midnight when they decided to inform us. Also, the representative told my mom that all their drivers were sleeping and there was nothing she could do. Took matters into my own hands and picked up my parents with my 2 year old in tow, but my fault for being duped by this company. read more

Do not use this service if you need to actually get to the airport on time!! They seem to have no concept that an airport drop off is time sensitive and I nearly missed my flight as they cancelled five minutes before my pick up time, which I had reserved 24 hours in advance! They said the driver had an emergency and rather than send another driver they cancelled my reservation! Very very unprofessional and unreliable service! Beware! Zero stars read more

Avoid using this service! Seriously!!!! They are the worst. I've been waiting for almost 2 hours now. And it's like they don't care. The absolute worse! Taking Uber or the train would have been better. Never again!!!!!!!! One star is too generous. read more

I just think people are writing the review to really relax on the time variability. That said, I had a great experience with it and I think most people who do too but doesn't yelp/write reviews about it. 1.Cliff notes: Driver name:Victor Online Booked Scheduled arrival: 3:20 Actual Arrival: 245 pm Departed 3:00 Picked up 2 other passenger made it to the airport at 4:45 Tip him 10 bucks 2.Story: My driver's name is "Victor" arrived early at 2:45pm when we were schedule at 3:20pm, he told us no rush. Luckily I had most stuff packed already and was out the door by 3:20pm. He helped us load our stuff in which was nice. He was professional and helpful but I got to tell you, he drives like a "NEW YORK TAXI driver" if you know what I mean. It doesn't bother me since i been to Manhattan many time. He also picked up two other passengers and then we all head to the airport in which he help us unload. I gave him ten bucks for getting us there early and plus deal with LA traffic. Overall I would use this service again and recommend it to my friend. 3.Tips -Be prepare for time variability, give or take about 45 mins. -Make sure to Chat with a representative on their online website to make sure your reservation is received when booked online -Book a ride 4-5 hours before your flight because they will pick up other people. -Tip your driver, for $20 or so, you should afford to give him a few buck. It makes people appreciate their job or have pride doing what they do. No tips=shitty service. read more

No stars, but unfortunately I had to add one in order to post. I missed my flight. Booked a shuttle on Tuesday for an outgoing flight on Friday morning. After waiting 15 minutes and not seeing anyone arrive, I called the company and was on hold for 15 minutes even though it stated I was "the 1st caller in the queue. " While waiting for someone to pickup the phone, I received a call from the someone at the company to state that they are canceling my ride since the one person they had was having car troubles. Mind you, no driver was actually assigned to me like it states on their website. They offered a full refund which was the least they could do since I was left with no ride with terrible late notice to find alternative transportation. This was a Friday morning, by time I was able to catch a Lyft and make it through morning traffic, I missed my flight. Do not book through this company if you want peace of mind to make your flight on time. read more

I doubt this is a legitimate business, this is probably a front for a money laundering business. I made a reservation twice with this company and both times I had to call them multiple times to check where the vehicle was. They would keep saying it was on the way and then finally they would say that the car broke down and they had to go 'rescue' the driver. A 2nd grader could come up with a more creative story. They refuse to provide refunds 'as per their policy'. I don't know what the other reviews are all about but I had a pleasant ride van #638 I think it was I'm not sure. My flight was delayed and on the direct chat they told me no problem out shuttle goes by every 15-30 minutes. We waited about 10 after arrival. The guy was quiet but hey who wants to talk after a 7 hours flight right? Lol. We got lucky and we were the first ones to be drop off. I defenetly will use this service again if needed. Well, the shuttle never came! I ended up having to call an Uber last minute and I barely made it to my flight. I received a update confirmation email a couple days before my trip notifying me that the pick-up time changed to 5:28 a.m. (which was fine). I was out front at 5:10 a.m. and waited out there until 6 a.m. No one called me and no one answered their help line. I left a message on their help line and used their online chat platform to try to get a hold of someone. In order to not miss my flight, I called an Uber. I didn't receive a response back until 6:21 a.m. At that time, they asked me if I'd been picked up yet. I appreciate them following up on me but at that point there is NO WAY I would have made it on time. Now, the reason I gave them one star is because they did fully refund me. However, I don't think that anyone wants to feel like they are gambling their ride to the airport. read more

I've used their Premium Service four times now and I've had very good service each time. Private car service for up to two people for $69-$80, depending on where you're heading. I've used them on domestic and international itineries (all to/from LAX) and the driver has always shown up on time, even a bit earlier than expected (which is no problem for me). Sometimes the cars are bit more run down on the outside, but it's nothing more than cosmetic. Drivers have all been awesome, they know when you want to talk, and when you don't. When being picked up from LAX, it always takes a bit longer because it's a busy airport. It is what it is. Highly recommend the premium service if you don't want to wait! read more

The van I was in only had 3 passengers plus the driver. He offered us bottled water and the morning paper (which I thought was cool). We got to LAX quickly, safely, and efficiently. I'm new to the LA area - from Philly - where we just take a quick taxi ride to the airport. The online sign up was easy and I received two automated phone calls prior to their arrival to picking me up. The ride to the airport was super easy and quick, with just a few other passengers in the van. I was a little worried about the return trip, as I wasn't 100% positive of where to find the van for my return trip. After grabbing my bags and running outside (it was already past 11pm and I was worried that there would be no shuttle home due to the late hour) I found two representatives wearing red and was promptly put on a shuttle. It was jammed packed and had to sit in the front seat, but I was the first to be dropped off after traveling for 14 hours straight. I booked my reservation online through Shuttle2LAX. When I noticed that I made the reservation from LAX instead of to LAX. I canceled it and made the correct reservation right away. When I came back from my trip, I checked my credit card statement. I noticed that they billed me twice for that day and refunded and deducted $4.00 three days later. When I called the Accounting Department, Justin told me that $4.00 is standard fee whenever we canceled the reservation. I informed him that I understand the charge if the cancellation is after one day. However, I noticed and corrected the mistake right away. Since they hadn't posted the charge, and they haven't submitted the bill to the credit card company. They shouldn't even charge me. In addition, I noticed my mistake for entering reservation fee and gratuity. I informed Justin that I already gave gratuity to the driver in person. Justin sounded understanding, and he told me that he would write to his supervisor and let me know the result in 2-3 days. This is the last time I use this service. My pick-up time was originally 3:25AM when I scheduled. This time changed to 3:35AM through an email notification. The morning of pick-up I used the live chat support because it was 3:50AM and the shuttle still hadn't arrived. I asked where my shuttle was and I guess I got disconnected but 2 minutes later I received a text that my shuttled had arrived and to make my way outside. The only problem with that was I was already outside and there was no shuttle. I went on the live chat again and the rep said that the message was a courtesy text. Ok, so make your customer stand outside 5 minutes before your van arrives. Then proceed to the shuttle full of people (the email that I received earlier said my pick-up time was due to unforseen circumstances). Shuttle ride was ok if you don't mind someone swerving inbetween 3 lanes with the exception of driving against the curb in the Sepulveda tunnel. I arrived safely only to stand at the back of the van waiting for the driver to open the back for my bag. He just stood there and stared at me for a few minutes and then it was like you could see the lightbulb click. Grabbed my bag and luck for him I already tipped when I made the reservation. $20 for a shuttle to/from LAX? No thank you. I'd rather spend an extra $15 for a taxi.
