They are horrible! Bad service! Seriously. They were very late. I stood by the Prime Time shuttle sign outside terminal 6 of LAX for an hour! I had to call over and over again and they kept promising me that they're on their way but nothing. Finally showed up and still had to wait because the driver said he's still waiting for more people to pick up! Ridiculous! While waiting I saw several SuperShuttle vans picking up people. I should've gone with that service instead of this messed up Prime Time Shuttle. I will never use this lousy service ever again. read more

Had a reservation for a ride on Friday July 24 at 9:45 from LAX. Upon arrival at the airport curb to checkin with them I was told that they had no vehicle to assign me. Have a seat. I waited 45 minutes without getting a car assigned to me. Finally jumped ship and took a cab to my destination. I would never recommend this service to anyone! The worst customer service ever. really horrible. read more

I should have done more research before booking this service (which is apparently basically Prime Time shuttle). As a note: I booked a PRIVATE CAR. My pick up and drive to the airport was great. My driver was wonderful. Apparently however, according to his "I am on location" text, actually worked for Go Sedan? My pick up from the airport to go home however was HORRIBLE. I received a text when I landed saying my Sedan2LAX driver was on site and to call when I was ready for pickup. No cell number was attached. I texted the number back. I called the number. Nothing. I then pulled up my reservation confirmation email, and tried every single number, link, and contact method included and NONE OF THEM WORKED. I literally could not get a hold of anyone. FINALLY I find a number that works by tracking back through one of the reservation links to a website. So I call and give them my confirmation. I was told I had to talk to the coordinator, that they couldn't call a car for me. What coordinator? How the hell do I get a hold of this coordinator? Why wasn't I told in my confirmation that I needed to talk the coordinator? Why the hell was I texted at all if there wasn't even a car there to pick me up? Why can't I get a hold of ANYONE? I wander up and down the terminal looking for the Shuttle 2 LAX coordinator "in a red shirt" until FINALLY I figure out that Prime Time and Shuttle 2 LAX are APPARENTLY the same freakin service. I ask the coordinator to call a car for me. 20 minutes later, he hasn't been able to get a car dispatched to get me. Despite booking a PRIVATE CAR. What is the point of even having a pickup reservation time???? Finally, he gets someone to come, in a giant van that I have all to myself, because he could apparently see how fuming angry I was at this point. After getting off of an 11 hour flight from Hong Kong, tired, short of temper, sick from the flight, and somehow starving, I was not happy that it took me an hour just to get a car to take me home. I was 2 seconds from just taking a cab. Horrible communication. Horrible customer service. Just no. Never ever ever again. read more

This whole debacle started at 9:07am when my cousin who I had purchased the service for requested a pick-up. Not too long after she provided by request (as seen on the provided screen shots) her reservation number and location. At 9:13 she was told that coordination with dispatch had occurred and that she would need to wait 30 minutes for the driver to pick her up. She was asked and confirmed where to be picked up (Tom Bradley) and asked where to wait and was told to do so at the curb. "Fast" forward to 10:51 she asked if she could have an update on the pick-up time, to which there was no response. Now, at this point her pick up is delayed SEVENTY minutes and still no response. I make a phone call at 11:01 "put myself in the queue" to be called back and at 11:07 I "get the call" and upon me answering and saying hello I am hung up on. In turn, at 11:08 I had to call AGAIN to try and sort a mess that YOU created and made ZERO effort to follow up. She received a message when I was first hung up on asking if the driver had picked her up or not. At the same time I FINALLY got on the phone with a VERY rude and poorly skilled agent. I inquired what was happening and without any reason or explanation, I was told the reservation had been canceled and she would need to arrange for alternate transportation to her destination. Mind you at this point she has been waiting for 90 minutes ON TOP OF the 30 she waited initially upon setting the pick-up time early morning. I was told that I would be fully refunded as if a favor was being done for giving me back money on services not provided. Which by the way, the refund has NOT been processed as of today November 19, 2018. I then asked if this alternate mode of transportation would be covered by you for the terrible "service" provided and the representative said no. I inquired why, to which he said we can't. I proceeded to ask for a manger to try and sort it out and was met with a "why, why do you ned a manager", to which I answered because you are unable to assist with my request and I wish to speak to a manager. To which he responded they are going to tell you the same information, why do you want to talk to them. I repeated my answer and then was told the manager was on other calls (as if one person can be on more than one call at a time). I said I would wait and was put on hold. After waiting for over 5 minutes I was hung up on. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE and not how a legitimate company should conduct business. No reason was given as to why the reservation was just canceled after we had been waiting for 2 hours. On top of that I was left to fend for myself when the reason I contracted your services was because I was unable to do the pick-up myself. Your company has alternative modes of transportation beyond the shared shuttle ride that were not offered up as a solution nor any assistance in making other arrangements. In order to rectify and remedy the situation I am asking that on top of my refund being processed immediately, my lyft ride (also provided in screen shots) be reimbursed to me as soon as possible. Please let me know what the next steps would be in order to receive the restitution requested above. THEM:We are deeply troubled that this issue has caused so much distress to you, our valued customer. We would like to thank you for helping us to improve our operation and services, and very much hope that you will remain a valued customer. Your complaint has been forwarded over to our upper management, they will investigate what happened and will listen to every recording, The refund of the amount you payed with us is already in process. but we do apologize we don't reimburse payment for alternate ride. Again, apologies for any inconvenience. Your patronage is important to us, and we hope that you will continue to give us the opportunity to serve you. MGR: Due to lack of driver for the pickup and routes, no driver is assigned for the pickup and was optioned out to take other means of transportation and as per management rules, we will only provide full refund and no other reimbursement may apply. ME:What you are saying is that you feel it is ok to take advantage of people's time as if they do not have other event schedules and such to adhere to? It took 2 hours and me getting on the phone for anything to happen. Any by anything happening, I mean you inadvertently cancelled the reservation and said deal with it. Meaning she could have been stranded longer had I not jumped in at that point. To be clear, your company feels that is an acceptable way to run the business? Also FYI you are referencing a refund that has yet to be applied to my credit card account! THEM: Again, we do apologize for what happened, but we cannot do anything more than a refund. For refunds, it will take 3-5 business days as per banking process, the credit is still not reflecting as the reservation was canceled on Saturday and it is still the first day of business days today. read more

I absolutely loved this service. I desperately needed a ride to the airport to make it home for Christmas and was able to book with them with less than 24hrs notice. The website was easy to use and had a nice FAQ page that answered all my questions. Took only seconds to book and get the confirmation. ONLY $20 no matter where in the city you're coming from. Tax included, tips are not. But they give you the option to tip online when you're checking out. I just brought cash with me. The driver gets out of the van, helps you with your luggage, and gives you a hand inside. Very polite and the service was appreciated! Due to the cheap fair I was very hesitant at first. But I was happily surprised! The way they work, is they book you on other services shuttles. So that's probably why the reviews are a bit scattered. -I was booked with Prime Time. But will give a separate review on their page. I loved that Shuttle2LAX gave me a call an hour before my appointment to let me know everything was running smoothly and on time. They also gave me a call when he was in my neighborhood to let me know to be prepared. As I mentioned, the driver was very nice and helpful. He did drive like a typical LA driver which may be uncomfortable if you're from out of town but I appreciated it. I got to the airport on time and in a good mood. Will use them again! read more

If you can afford to do anything else to get to and from LAX then do that! First I will say, this company's price might be the lowest as long as you are staying somewhere more than 3 nights - cause otherwise the flyaway has low parking rates and takes you to LAX from their facilities. This service will cost you $21 each way from most LA areas plus tip which the van reminds you via several signs, is not included. The ride to LAX was ok save for the fact that the driver did not even remotely obey the speed limit and that was a little bothersome-- did you know that speeding 15 or more miles per hour will only save you a few minutes per year but basically puts you at risk for death? Anyways made it in a timely manner and the ride showed up at least somewhat close to the time they told me- for safety tell them your flight is leaving earlier than it is and you can feel secure and worst case call a lyft if they end up failing which I'm sure they do sometimes. The ride home from LAX made me want to punch someone in the face. After taking 4 flights home and having made my plans prior to avoid any headache I am annoyed at how this went. Now my phone was dying and there was no outlet near where pickup was so if not for that I would've called sooner... I was scheduled to be picked up at 10:15 pm and they require you to provide all of your terminal and flight info and tell you that you're getting picked up and not that you actually have to go find them. Half an hour later I gave up and explored the airport for a place to charge my phone enough to make a call. The person at the company was rude, gave unclear instructions and snidely called me "ma'am" which ps is not polite and no one likes. Anyways he told me to go find the shuttle stop which would have been pretty easy to include in any of the multiple communications between myself and the company but it was not included. Another lady at the stop was screaming all of this info out loud demanding a refund, which I personally think i deserve as well after all of this. The driver who finally arrived at the shuttle stop (which is not the same name as the service I ordered which is fine but again just be clear about your procedures ) loaded us all in and luckily I was the first stop cause I'm sure the last stop had to wait another full hour. The driver took off and then started fiddling with his GPS to get directions --- and really, as a professional driver, take 30 seconds and do that beforehand instead of looking down from the road of your 10 seat Van. We have all just been on airplanes and survived so help get us home safely by observing basic safety practices. Appalled. Annoyed. Get your shit together, guys. if you're going to be negligent at least be kind and apologetic to your customers but don't be rude and negligent. And don't call me ma'am. read more

They canceled my pick up an hour before the pick up time. On the return shuttle ride, after two calls and an hour of waiting, they tell me they will refund and cancel the ride. I waiting for an hour. The service is so shotty and not cheap enough to deal with the headache of their unreliable service. Save yourself a lot of anger at a slightly higher cost and use Lyft or Uber. read more

Never again. Dirty vans, wasted time, and flat out lack of professionalism are not worth $20. I booked round trip shuttle service from Orange. My original pick up time was for 1:25pm. Then, starting at 3am that morning, Shuttle2LAX sent me 3 texts, 3 emails, and a phone call to alert me that my pickup time had been changed to 1:10pm. Ok, annoying but no big deal. So I get to the pickup area before 1:10pm and the shuttle didn't show up until 1:47. The van floor was dirty, the seats were covered in hair, and there was trash shoved into the cup holders. I was scheduled to be picked up from LAX at 9:00am. I arrived well before 9, was told my shuttle would be there in 10 minutes, and it didn't arrive until 9:30am. It then took an hour to get the rest of the passengers and I wasn't dropped off until 11:30. I asked about the slogan on the car (On time or you don't pay) and they told me that doesn't apply to the LAX pickup time. Well then 1) What is the point of reserving a specific time, 2) It was late on my departure trip as well, and 3) Maybe don't put that on your van. No apologies were offered from any of the late drivers of Shuttle2LAX. I will find any other way to get to LAX from now on. Lesson learned. read more

Terrible! My first driver kept getting lost although he was nice and helpful. No one picked me up at LAX on my return so I finally called the first driver who very nicely came to get me. I waited 1 1/2 hrs at LAX and finally got home 2 hrs later. I couldn't contact anyone at the company because apparently they turn their phones over to the Philippines at 5:59 pm. I will never take them again, read more

"This shit-tle service didn't answer my emailed questions and it's the day of my boyfriend's flight. Mind you, it doesn't provide a phone number, the FAQ and About pages are being worked on, and the day off the person standing next to my boyfriend waited 1 hr and 20 minutes past his scheduled time.. there wasn't anyone to assist both passengers like the company claims. As a last minute response we had to pay for another service to pick him up and he nearly missed an appointment that he would have had ample time to prepare for." I held off posting my complaint to give this horrible company a chance. It has now been three weeks and we haven't received a refund, apology, etc. read more

DO NOT USE this service unless you want to add at least 2 hours of waiting around time to your already long travel day. Terrible experience yesterday. I reserved my shuttle home from LAX a week in advance. Received a confirmation and pick up time of 8:45am My flight arrived at LAX on time and I proceeded curbside PrimeTime Shuttle stop (who operates the buses). I checked in with the curbside attendant at 8:35am approx. After waiting over half an hour, the attendant came over to me and apologized. I still had not been assigned a bus number. I logged on to the Prime Time website at 9:15am to check the approximate time for my pick up and I still wasn't assigned a driver. I ended up waiting an hour for a shuttle to pick me up and the website said my approximate drop off time at home would be 12:50pm and I live in Sherman Oaks!! I could've driven home from Las Vegas by then. Thankfully the driver was nice and let me know that since I was the closest drop off I would be first and he'd have me home in 40minutes. The driver and the attendant were pleasant but the company is clearly not doing well. While I waited at LAX about 20 Super Shuttle buses came by and the Flyaway to Van Nuys came TWICE!!! I should've taken that and saved myself some $ and been home before Shuttle2LAX (aka PrimeTime Suttle) even picked me up from the airport. I used this service once over a year ago at Christmas time and had no problems. But clearly things are on the downhill slide since all the reviews are terrible. My one star goes directly to the driver everything else about the experience was awful and I will never use or recommend this service again. read more

I was very worried about using the Shuttle 2 LAX service after reading all the negative reviews on here. But I believe more people will take the time to complain about bad service vs. writing a review when they get good service. So, my hope is to provide some positive feedback. My husband and I used the Shuttle 2 LAX service a week ago (1/22/2013) and had no problems at all. The driver was about 10 minutes early - they give a half hour window so we were prepared to go. The driver was nice and helped us with our bags. The ride was uneventful - it was 6:30am so no one was in a chatty mood, fine with me. I was kind of surprised we stopped at the Long Beach Airport but that was fine and we still arrived in plenty of time to catch our flight. I would definitely book with them again, for the price, you can't beat it! Prime Time Shuttle was the service that actually picked us up. read more

Wish I could give zero stars because I got zero service. As in my reservation was cancelled with out telling me. No email, no call, no text. I waited about ten minutes after my ride was supposed to arrive before calling thinking maybe they're just late. Was on hold for several minutes before getting an agent who told me my reservation was cancelled and they sent a cancellation email at 3 something in the morning and refunded my money. Then proceeded to hang up me! Didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Didn't offer to find an alternative shuttle. She just hung up! I checked my email again. Inbox and junk mail. No cancellation email. Just checked my bank account, not refunded yet. I had to call a lyft to take me. I tried calling back to tell them I never got a cancellation email or a refund and they answered and hung up immediately before I even said a word. They were the first shuttle service that popped up when I searched the Internet, $20 flat fee. Sounded great. Too good to be true. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!Worst shuttle service ever. Just stick with lyft people. read more

THESE PEOPLE TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED AT THE AIRPORT!! 12 hour flight from France. Pre-booked a shuttle to be available when we landed. Arrived at 940pm to lax and made it to the prime time shuttle location before our 1030 pick up time. We waited from 1015-1145, constantly being told that our shuttles are being switched, rerouted, and whatever else. Finally at 1145 the "supervisor", a very rude Miss Johnson who apparently doesn't have a first name shows up in her golf cart to let us know there aren't any shuttles and we need to find out way home at midnight. Any private cars avaliable? Nope. Any point arguing? Nope. Call shuttle2lax? Definitely not. They've probably been closed since 5pm. They already have my money and don't care. Luckily there's super shuttle next door who calls their dispatch and gets us a shuttle 20 minutes later. I saw all the awful reviews and still went ahead and booked with them. SAVING $20 IS NOT WORTH BEING STRANDED AT THE AIRPORT. read more

They did not pick me up! I was left stranded without a ride to the airport and had to scramble to get another alternative to LAX. I called the driver and he claimed that he already tried to pick me up, but I didn't receive any calls. He gave me another number which was supposed to be their customer support number, but I guess they don't work on Sunday afternoons because nobody picked up. I looked carefully on their website afterwards and noticed that there's no customer service number -- which is exactly the type of service you should expect. When I called back their customer support number on the weekday, they refused to give me a refund and claimed that they "tried"... and then they hung up on me! What a business! I should have listened to the other reviewers! read more

Driver did not show up. Reservation cancelled. No prior message, call, or text notified. I will never ever use this company again.

Wow, should have read all the reviews before booking. Seems you get what you pay for, on in my case, nothing of what you pay for. Booked to go to the airport, paid for, shuttle never shows up. Couldn't get through to their customer service line. Stressed and ended up catching a taxi for 7 times the price. Avoid these guys like the plague. They have yet to reply to any of my 3 emails asking what happened so I have reported it as fraud to my credit card company. read more

There is a reason this service is cheap. Save yourself the trouble and get an Uber. Scheduled a 5:10 pick up on a SATURDAY morning and was sent a text the morning of that it was running 15 minutes late. Then 40 minutes late. There is no phone number available on the website, so I called the number on the website of their "primary dispatch" Primetime Shuttle. The agent put me on hold multiple times and had no idea where my driver was or why he was late. I demanded a refund which she agreed to but wouldn't confirm, and said I would be to the airport by 6. It was now 550. I told her that seemed implausible and then after putting me on hold again said a rescue shuttle would be there by 6. Oh. Who knows what would have happened had I not done some digging and actually called someone. I wasn't allowed to speak to a manager and when we called our driver (I had to ask for his cell) he was unclear about his location and said we were asking "too many questions." Mario did indeed show up around 605, almost an hour late, did not load up our bags and his van, while tidy, smelled terrible. He did drive efficiently and had us to the airport in 25 minutes (from La Mirada). So bottom line- keep on them and dont expect red carpet service. read more

My 1st Yelp Review :D : Well, reading so many negative reviews, i was v pessimistic to start with. I had to goto LAX to pick up couple of folks and so used their shuttle to get dropped n then picked up same day after an hr. Irvine to LAX took 1.5 hrs (30 mins just on last 1 mile leg to airport due to traffic) otherwise there was 1 pick up at Huntington n 2 drops at Long beach. All done very smooth n professional. Return back was lil tiring as driver had to loop around the terminals to pick up ppl who were sometimes late or din show up. So 20~30 mins wasted in loops n then about 1 hr to get dropped in Irvine. 2 stops on the way (Huntington, SNA). All in all, Value for Money, n if its ur lucky day u will get picked n dropped last n first respec :) Driver on return journey was a Punjabi :) n was chatting about the service etc. Suggested us to take Shuttle Private for $95 upto 7 folks n u get dropped straight... Useful Tip.. read more

Here is the actual email I sent with regards to my reservation set for Dec31st pickup from home to LAX & Jan 1st. pick up from LAX to Home. To Customer Service, I was given a reservation and my transaction was completed in a timely manner. I was not given ample notice that my reservation would be cancelled due to the lack of drivers willing to take the fair price I was given. Your service is falsely claiming there was an issue with the vehicle itself which is not true...you booked a service and no one was willing to provide the transportation for my reservation so you call me 20 minutes after my ride is supposed to be there. I think not. If you are going to advertise the service than you should honor the service you entered into a service agreement/contract with me. You failed to meet your own requirements. You left me stranded at the airport without so much as an alternative solution. I was not even offered a ride through the Primetime Shuttle service. At the very least you should have had an alternate option in place before you called me. Instead, it was a sorry for the inconvenience and thank you very much for ruining my plans. 4 hours later I secured a ride on my own. It was more like a screw you and good luck on your own. I plan to report this to every site I am a reviewer on. I am requesting that you refund my full purchase of both the ride to LAX on the 31st of Dec and from LAX on Jan 1st both legs of my reservation were purchased at the same time. If I do not receive the refund of an additional $28.00 for Leg 1, I plan to seek a class action suit against you. I am sure I am not the first to enter into a contract with you only to be notified after the promised pick up time and confirmed pick up notification from your app only to be called by your customer service and told that you are unable to fulfill the contract after the fact.... and to not have an alternative mode of transportation in place is ridiculous and unprofessional. Not notifying me in a timely manner and cancelling on me without proper notification is a breach and I'm sure I am not the only one you have done this to. Below is the round trip ref# and the cost please see to it that I am refunded my whole transaction amount. If I have not heard back from you in 48 hours with your response to my request I will be contacting my lawyer. I hope they read this and at the very least train the reps to have an alternative ride in place. Since it was for a private car they could have rescheduled me on the Prime Time Shuttle but they didn't even try to get me another ride home. Anyone who travels a lot knows this is such an awful feeling not to know how you are going to get home and it just really sucks to find a last minute alternative on your own when you're just tired and want to be home after a long plane ride. It's Christmas Eve and I'm stranded at LAX airport without a ride. :( I booked the reservation six months in advance. Our flight was suppose to arrive at 1040pm, with a shuttle pick up at 11pm. Our flight was delayed and we got to the shuttle queue at 1145pm, ready to go home and greet our families for Christmas. The shuttle dispatch loser gave us a bullshit excuse about dispatch no longer offering us a shuttle and tried to convince us to pay Supershuttle to take us home, when we already booked/paid/tipped for the ride home. We're unable to get through to customer service and we have no money to take another shuttle. Now we have to call my mother-in-law at 1215am (she was asleep!) and have her take us home. On Christmas Eve. Stay away from these guys. Seriously. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I wish I could leave negative stars! EDIT: My facebook comment about the service was deleted and they've given me no response as to what happened and what they hope to do. This is the worst Christmas ever! read more

For starters, I've used Shuttle to LAX (Prime Time) about ten times, never a problem until tonight. After waiting 30 minutes for the van at the airport, I can't whine to much about that, but the driver stopped at every airline had a chat with everyone, including other drivers out the window. Ok, now it getting worse, at the international terminal, he tells the dispatcher, he'll see him next time around, I ask him if he's going around again, he says we'll see. At terminal six he picks up two more fares, now up 5, I ask if he's going around again (it's now been an hour in total spending time with my friends at Prime Time) he says yes, I get out at terminal seven to grab a cab, at this rate, it'll be another two hours until I get home, LAX is packed! This is the worst experience I've ever had with any shuttle service! Never again! read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS "SERVICE"!!! I use this company on a very regular basis since a job change earlier this year. Up to the last three times, my experience has been great. However, I'm now going to see what my other options are. Starting a few weeks ago, dispatch for the drivers has been changing my pickup time every...single...trip. First time I was shifted to half an hour later and my driver picked me up 10 minutes after that. My guess..the fellow who was collected ahead of me made them wait (and I applaud him). No communication from anybody about this though, so I started looking for alternatives until the driver called saying he was outside. Last time went relatively smooth though my pickup time was still pushed back. This time though...this one really takes it. I made my reservation, got the usual 2 texts and 2 emails stating my pickup time was pushed back by 20 minutes. I adjusted my entire schedule to this new time. Then, while i'm still getting ready, my driver calls saying he's "running ahead" and will be to my place in 5 minutes. I get this after getting out of the shower. He calls 2 minutes later saying he's here. A full HALF HOUR EARLY. I told him to give me 10 minutes, and I'd be down. Next time...he waits until his dispatch time to pick me up. I got to say a very brief goodbye to my family who I won't see for two weeks. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. Dispatch, get some continuity going between you and your drivers or expect to continue losing customers. If there is a next time and this happens again, your driver will wait until *I* am ready. I will not rush around to accommodate him because he's running early and doesn't bother to communicate it until he's basically on my doorstep. Un-bloody-believable. read more

Update - I got an immediate response and apology from Prime Time w/o any of that blame game you see other vendors do on Yelp. Thank you Sarah, I honestly appreciate that more than I can say and changed my rating on Prime Time from 1 to 2 for now. I'm not sure how Shuttle2LAX is separate but thus far no response from them so just leaving their rating. Great price, poor service time. I'm posting the same on Prime Time since it's about both companies. It seems Shuttle2LAX is like a middle man assigning your fare to a more major shuttle company. I got Prime Time. I've been waiting for 30 min at LAX terminal 1 so far and it's really cold). There have been 12 super shuttles during this time (I have to keep revising as I wait). At the 15 min mark I asked how much longer and he said 15. Then new staff came during that time. Five or so min later she handed a card with what the shuttle number would be and said a few more min. Why didn't the first guy do this?? Then a few min later she changed the number (she was nice at least giving me a few updates). Then at the 35 min mark a shuttle came for a girl who got there after me, ugh. Btw...waited another 16 min before the shuttle got to the airport. A TOTAL OF 51 MIN to get the shuttle just to pick me up! I was supposed to be home by 8 per their estimate and we didn't actually even leave the airport until 8:26. A TOTAL OF 76 MIN from giving my name to leaving the airport. Ridiculous! Also, I was told there was only going to be 2 people...there are 8. Now I wonder if I'll ever get home. This was the worst shuttle experience I've everhad. I'm so disappointed, disgusted even with this utter lack of respect for my time. I would not recommend them. I'm never using them again, ever! read more

Worst experience ever. Currently sitting in the car, on my way to my hotel. After waiting an hour for the car (text messages unreturned for an hour, phone always busy, and multiple calls to the office), I'm now being shunned by the driver, who wants me to think it's my fault somehow for not calling his real cell (which is apparently different from the number from which I got the initial text that the car was ready? (Which, how should I know? (And which, when I called the office multiple times, why couldn't they get in touch with the driver either?))). The woman outside at Prime Time Shuttle was extremely unhelpful, also, wouldn't acknowledge me, told me there was no way she could call the driver in the Walkie Talkies (which the office told me she would do). In short, I feel ripped off. I should've used the crummy hotel/ discount services rather than wasting 120 bucks to be ignored. Not acceptable. UPDATE: you will see below that someone from this company contacted me publicly on Yelp to give the impression (to anyone reading this review) that they care about customer service, and they were dutiful in trying to make things right. Though I write an extensive email to the person below, describing in full my experience and the ways in which their shuttle service could be improved, I never received a response (and certainly never received any sort of refund). I write this simply because I want to make sure that readers are not tricked by the comment below into thinking that the company "made things right." They did not. They do not care about you. Their response below (and failure to follow up) is more insulting than if they would've said nothing at all. read more

WORST AMONG THE WORST!!!! Pick up time was @ 5:45pm and the shuttle didn't show up. Waited for 20 minutes before calling customer service to cancel. They insisted that my pick up time according to their system is different from mine. Ok so how I am suppose to know? How about a courtesy call saying that you'll be late? I asked to cancel & refund my money but of course they will not do that because ALL THEY WANT IS TO MAKE MONEY!!!! We'll, yes you got my $23 but you just lost more customers. Flat affect on the other line when I was talking to the customer service and even told me that she will put a note that I'm a "no show" SERIOUSLY???? I should've read yelp reviews first before booking. This is not even worth the 2-star yelp review! Too late now but I'm sharing this experience and hopefully this company won't have any more victims in the future. read more

The worst experience! The ride to LAX was fine. The ride home was awful. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No way to contact them, emails and texts not answered. They sent my reservation to Prime Time and that company had no idea how to get me answers or my ride. Scheduled Scheduled for a 6:41pm pick up at LAX turned into a last minute ride at 8:51pm. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Not worth any supposed cost savings. Should be No Star rating options. #neverusePrimeTime, #neveruseShuttle2LAX. read more

I can't speak for anybody arriving at LAX and needing to get somewhere....but using Shuttle2LAX was everything the name and the ads imply. The service TO LAX was a breeze!! I will qualify that statement with the fact that I was the last one picked up on the way to the airport so didn't get jockey'ed around to other pickups. Anyways, I booked 48 hrs ahead even though I was pretty leery after reading others' reviews. At best I figured if I get assigned to Prime Time (which I did) at LEAST Shuttle2LAX had 2.5 stars vs Prime Time's 1 star! I know...my logic is flawed but whatevs. Anyways, booked via my smartphone and it was super easy. Got email confirmations right then, again 24 hrs prior, the morning of, AND a text about 4 hours prior to my scheduled pickup. About 2 hrs ahead, I started getting texts that the driver was 10 mins ahead of schedule and then shortly after another text that it would only be 5 mins early. There was even a link to a map feature to show where the driver was. He ended up arriving to pick me up 10 mins early as per the initial alert. The driver (didn't catch his name) was helpful and courteous, and smooth driving for most of the way (it felt more like a thrill ride once we got to the departure level at LAX-I get it, it's LA gotta be aggressive) The van seemed newer and was spotless, even had individual vents for AC. If all experiences could be as painless as this, it would revolutionize the shuttle industry! Oh yea...and for 2 people from Long Beach area, total was $34 (+tip). No taxes/fees/penalties/fuel surcharges/first born of your family's next 5 generations required. read more

Some hard realities to confront first: 1) Do not take a shuttle *from* ANY airport. At that point you are basically just a prisoner of the system with few options unless you have money to spend. Take your money and bribe one of your friends to come get you. Shoot, a stranger off Craigslist is probably better than relying on a low-fare shuttle FROM an airport. 2) Be honest: you know from direct experience how difficult it is to organize six or more of your friends to do anything. Now try planning an efficient route, day, and time to pick everyone up where one "person" in the group doesn't hold up the entire show. Now try doing all that when everyone is a stranger to each other and feels entitled. Bleck! Taking the above two into consideration, I actually would recommend "Shuttle2LAX" to a friend or family. I have used their service to get *TO* LAX many times and have never had a problem more than the van showing up earlier than the text said (sometimes as much as 15min early!) and/or some other patron on the van feeling they don't have to be on time and thus holding up everyone while their wife(?) blows kisses from the doorway wearing only her robe (true story). $20 for a 3AM ride to the airport? That's a hard deal to beat, my friends... read more

Pros - you only pay $20 Cons - They will call you 6 hours before you pick up time to tell you that they moved your pick up time from 310am to 245am. And you can not get your money back to switch services. Do not use this service if you have 40 you can pay a real service. I am so sorry that I even chose to use them. read more

No more hassles to LAX! For $20.00 each way! Good deal, good service and on time! I have used the service more than eight times in last twelve months, and they never failed me. - knock knock! Making reservation is simple, just a few clicks. 1) online reservation: shuttle2lax.com - $20.00 Each way plus gratuity 2) select your pick up location, date, time and flight general info for avaialbilities. 3) confirm availability and time of pickup and drop off. 4) click info including payment method. 5) print confirmation for your record 6) hours before pick up time - phone you and also followed by a few reminder calls before pick up time. For returning home - even easier after reservation made. Do not panic, the reservation is good for 24 hours . If your flight is late more than 24 hours call their 800 phone number. After exited the airport door, walk to a nearby Prime Time Shuttle stop sign. Check in with an attendant in red and black jacket. The shared van usually arrives within 15 minnutes. Easy ride, courteous airport attendants and drivers. Highly recommend! read more

Never use Shuttle to LAX.....ordered a Limo ahead and paid almost $200 for it. LAX - Orange County.....the driver sent me a text that he is at the airport. We just landed in LAX and I got that text.....it took us only about 1/2 hour to get out of the international airport....call right away the drivers phone and no answer. Called about 25 times.....me my wife and our little one 4 year of age....took a Taxi and it costed us $100..... So I call them and complain that nobody picked us up. They tell me that I am lair and the driver dropped us off at the location......It is absolutely a lie ....they never ever did that. I called and called, each time the say the manager has the say.......once I had the manager on the phone and he said, that this matter has nothing to do with them.....what a bullsh.....t! Never ever again. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me. Screw me, three times and feel my wrath. Getting to and from the airport is an already stressful ordeal, even if you have reliable transportation. You definitely don't have reliability with Shuttle2LAX. All 3 times my husband and/or I tried to use them to get to or from the airport, they have screwed us over. Once, they left me to fend for myself at 11:30 pm at LAX because my flight had been slightly delayed. Thank goodness Primetime saved me and took me home. They have bailed on my husband twice now, leaving him to get a ride to the airport at the very last minute, even after confirming the arrival of the shuttle with him 30 minutes before the (non) arrival. What kind of business practice is that? Luckily, he was able to get a Lyft to the airport. Don't believe the commercials, billboards, or advertisements. They will take your money, take weeks to refund you (if at all), all after they tell you to find your own ride to the airport. If the spontaneity and anxiety of having your prebooked ride cancelled minutes before you leave to the airport, or you enjoy being stuck at LAX with no ride after the one you paid for refuses to take you, then by all means, use Shuttle2LAX. All others, go somewhere else for your airport rides. read more

I've used Shuttle2LAX many times before. Previous experiences have been ok. But last night, our driver started yelling at us when he called to let us know that "the van is not red. It's silver! silver! It's silverrrrrr!" We had to hike up the hill because he couldn't find our address. Then on the car ride, he complained about having to drive in traffic for 1 hour from Downtown to pick us up in Silverlake at rush hour. Uh... I asked him if he's taking us to LAX, since we were in Silverlake and somehow ended up near Long Beach, which is nowhere near LAX. I was worried, so I contacted the chat support who then called the driver to confirm that he's taking us to LAX. The driver then started yelling at us for contacting customer service, telling us how ridiculous it was to report him. The chat support at this point ended our chat and offered no resolution except for suggesting us to file a complaint about the driver via email. I cancelled our return trip from LAX and Shuttle2LAX will no longer get any business from me. We did not feel safe and obviously they don't care for our safety either. read more

I can't stress enough NOT to use this service. I made a reservation weeks in advance for a flight out of LAX. I decided to use it over Uber or Lyft, because we had 4 people and lots of luggage and wanted to make sure we were there on time. Received reminder texts the day of our trip, and finally taking a break after a morning of last minute preparations, I decided to check the "real-time" link. To my shock, they canceled our reservation 15 minutes before they were due to pick us up - no call, no text, I wouldn't have known had I not decided to track the driver. And because you can't get a real person on the phone, I sat on hold and tried to reach someone by chat for over 1 1/2 hours - when I finally reached someone, they said "there were no drivers and I would have to take other means." No explanation about why it was canceled in the first place. Still haven't received a refund and calling my credit card company. I normally check Yelp before making these types of reservations but lack of time made me hasty - never again. read more
