I needed a last minute drop off to LAX to catch a flight at 7:45 PM. The website is easy to follow. They give you 4 1/2 hour gap to pick you up and get you there in time. You don't have to guess it yourself, it's automatic that they'll pick you up a certain time. The ride is smooth. Didn't feel rush but still felt like I had plenty of time left. Which I felt relief (reason is next) The -2 stars is that when I booked for a pick up, I didn't get any phone numbers who to contact or even know if the transaction came through or if this was even legit. (I didn't look it up on yelp till few minutes before it came) I received a text message that the driver was also going to be 20 minutes late. No worries right? But it was already past 5 minutes after the 2nd notice. I was getting picked up at 3:35 instead of 3:15 Of course I got nervous and tried calling the number listed on yelp! No answer! But few minutes later I get a text saying they're outside ready to pick me up. Whew! Last week I missed my flight (this company is not responsible for it) and another one couple days ago so I couldn't miss another one that's why I couldn't be more stressful about this day going smooth. Glad I finally made it to my trip. read more

Summary: If you don't mind waiting, its the cheapest option. My second experience with Shuttle2LAX wasn't as good as the first one. I booked a pre-paid shuttle 3 days in advance. As soon I got to the LAX ground transportation area I checked my reservation and found out I had not been assigned to a driver despite my pickup time being in 3 minutes (5:30pm). I used the chat app on their website to figure out what was going on. The lady in the chat instructed me call 1-800-733-8267 ext. 3 (perhaps to "check-in", not quite sure). The guy I spoke with was extremely nice and helpful. He assigned me a driver, told me where to wait, and let me know it would be about 30 to 45 till the driver picked me up. Unfortunately, it turned out to be about an hour and 10 minute wait before I got picked up. The driver was from OPOLI and was in a nice Infinity QX60. He was very courteous and a safe driver. We picked up a few more people and left the airport around 6:50pm. These are the issues I think need fixing: - This was a prepaid reservation that had my flight information, you know the person is going to be there at a specific time. Please don't wait till the last minute to assign a driver. - If all passengers converged and met at the same spot at the airport it would MASSIVELY speed things up. The poor driver had to search all over the airport and wait to pickup each passenger. Please just have everyone go to, for example "Terminal 3 - Ride Share E Sign", that way when the driver arrives we're all ready to leave. I'd rather walk 10 minutes to another terminal that wait 1 hour to get picked up. - Please fix the app. Being able to track the driver would have helped quash my worries that no one was coming. (Current app won't let you sign-up and the website based tracking is difficult to use in real-time) Was the time delay and worry worth the $18 savings over Uber/Lift? In this instance I would say no, in hindsight I would've taken an Uber. Will I use Shuttle2LAX again, yes because I'm cheap, although I would not use them when there is heavy traffic. read more

They suck, plain and simple. My pickup from LAX was originally scheduled for 4:50, then 5:25, then 5:50. When I told them to cancel and I would get an Uber they said they would not issue a refund. Customer service much? Never again. read more

I do not want to give any star, but required to choose one!! I got terrible experience using this service, I will never use it again. I booked the service indicated 1 passenger, go to LAX at 0900 pm, 3 baggages, showed up on the book form 2 baggages. Come to the day, they texted me they will come pick me up at 0930pm, then changed to 0945pm, then changed to 0940 pm. The small van came at 0950 pm full with passengers, got 1 passenger spot, and no space to put even 1 baggage. The driver was telling me that he was told I got only 1 baggage!!! Then he told my husband to bring the baggages and drive follow him to LAX???? My husband said, then why should I hired you to take my wife to airport??? Without any responsibility the driver said whatever it is I can not take you, and I have to leave now as all the passengers would be late and left???? I almost missed the flight as the traffic was so bad on that day. If you do not want to experience the heart raising with anger and excitement because afraid of missing the flight do not use them!!! read more

What is in your imagination could be the worst scenarios will happen ? and yes it happened to us . For the company . Please stop ripping off people money . And for the future customer please don't waste your money for this company . And yes i putted my review on yelp for only complaining . NEVER AGAIN! I was going to Salt Lake City for the weekend and booked the shuttle to LAX for departure and arrival. The drive to LAX was not the worst - in fact, the driver was very polite and efficient (he was early by a whole 30 minutes!). So why the 1 star? Just like previous reviews (how I really wish I had read them prior to booking the reservation!), NOTHING on the confirmation or your emails state that the pick up reservation from the airport is going to be with a shuttle or whatnot. No telephone number, tried accessing their website and all it does is link me to their email; tried texting and the reply said that no one could get back to me. I ended up taking an uber to get back, thinking that I'll just contact them and let them know that no one ever came to pick me up. When I finally get a hold of someone via chat on their website, guess what they tell me? They said that I didn't work with the coordinator. WHAT coordinator? My emails didn't state who my coordinator would be (despite their website clearly saying that it'll be a personal representative to take care of my reservations and having a 24-hr telephone number!) or how to even contact my coordinator (just learned from previous reviews that apparently I had to walk to the shuttle section?). Because I didn't speak with my coordinator, I wasn't eligible for a refund. Thanks, Shuttle2LAX, you just ripped me $22.95, and on top of that, I had to pay an uber driver to take me home. I'd really prefer to get my $22.95 instead of their "sincerest apologies" and "apologies for the inconvenience," because she clearly didn't sound too sincere that I was stuck at an airport for 2 hours. read more

I would never give thiscompany any stars. I had to place one because the review required some star review. Would NOT recommend this company at all. Made reservations at the end of June for a round trip to and from LAX to our hotel for July 15th and the 20th. My flight was slightly delayed arriving at LAX and they said they'd be on it because they were keeping an eye on flight schedules. Well, they were wrong. We landed about an hour late, had to call just for them to then tell us that we had to figure out how to get a ride to our hotel but they'll give us a refund in 3-5 days. They then asked if we wanted to keep our return trip to LAX and they assured us this wouldn't happen again. I get a notification at 2:15 am saying there is no driver I'm being assigned another soon. Well, guess what happened? I had to leave my hotel at 7:30 am and about 6:30 am they tell me I don't have a ride yet again so I will be given a refund again in 3-5 days. They are a BS company and would never wish this on anyone especially depending on transportation to and from a place you need to be and with it being planned with about a little over 2 weeks in advance. Never, never use this company unless you plan on being stranded. read more

If I could give them negative stars I possible. I had a reservation for them to pick me up at 2:40. They called me at 1:40 to tell me the shuttle was on their way. Then they called me at 2:25 and said they could not pick me up because the van had broken down and there's no replacement shuttles. So now I'm scrambling to find a ride to LAX before my flight. Terrible way to start my vacation. Do not book a shuttle with shuttle to LAX! read more

Horrible ride. To start, theres no aircondition in the van. For $143 dollars there should be air conditioning. The driver did not know how to drive. My son had to pop a anti nausea pill from the motion sickness. Take an uber l, its $77 at 1pm on a friday. read more

They were an hour late. Driver did not know where he was going. Spent 15 minutes being lost. By the time we got on the freeway, it was full on rush hour and although he got in carpool lane which was moving well, drove only 55 mph. I watched him on Waze. We barely made the flight. Running full out. And my pickup time was 4 hours prior to flight time. I really thought that was adequate. Wish I had not tipped him in advance! read more

Had a great experience. I was a little hesitant due to all the bad reviews so I scheduled pick up early in case I had to take Uber to airport last minute. Tony our driver was great. He arrived early and helped load and unload our luggage. We fit 6 adults and one child without any issues and lots of space for luggage including one wheelchair. I got a reminder text one hour prior to pick up time and on app you can track your driver. Planning on using them again for pick up from airport when I return from my trip. read more

Flight from LAX-1043 Supposed pickup-0730 No one by 0740 Called and was told they were delayed but nearby 0800 no one and no contact from them. 1 1/2 hrs drive time to LAX so wife had to miss work to take me. 0810 they called finally and we told them we wanted a refund Will never use them again read more

They left us waiting for an hour on the curb at LAX at 1 in the morning. The drivers are over scheduled and stretched thin. Do not use them for pick up from the airport. Although they picked us up on time on our trip to the airport they refused to drop us off at departures and made us take the elevator with tons of luggage. Use anyone else besides this service. read more

The good the bad and the ugly. Used this service several times. GOOD: Its dirt cheap! $20+$12 additional person is the cheapest around. Don't be fooled by all the shuttle companies, they all work contract and all serve S2LAX so why pay more for the same service? Call them first. BAD: Because they book so many people they are slow. Plan on leaving your house 4-5 hours early for international flights. and 3-4 for domestic. No worries because that gives you extra time to deal with the TSA then a little extra time to get your fade on before your flight. UGLY: Some of the drivers are dickheads! Had one try and charge me for a broken seatbelt! FU dude! Called him out and he backed off. OVERALL: I have way more good stories than bad, the drivers are generally polite, the vans are fairly clean and they do their best to get you home/ LAX quickly. The easiest way home unless you are being picked up by a friend. No hassles. TIP: Tell your driver to get you home first as you give him a $5-10 tip and you'll be first one dropped off. I'll use them again and again, come on $20! read more

Great price and great concept, and after seeing all of these reviews, I'm glad our driver actually showed up early or if at all... but how about nearly 7 hours early?!?!?!?!?!?!? dropped off at LAX a total of 6 hours prior my flight.. I really wanted to like Shuttle2LAX, but I will probably be booking elsewhere in the future. Hope they will do something about this, but seeing all these negative reviews, I'm thinking not. :( read more

My airport shuttle experience August 8th on Shuttle2LAX left something to be desired, to put it mildly. I hope this isn't everyone's experience taking this company's shuttle, but I suspect it may be for a lot of people. For example: On my trip to the airport, I was picked up at my home in the Fairfax district of L.A., near The Grove. The driver said he had two more passengers to pick up before we headed to the airport. The first passenger was practically all the way downtown, around the Figueroa and 8th Street area. The second passenger was at USC. By the time we got to the airport, it took the time of at least two trips to the airport. On the way back from the airport, the driver arrived 25 minutes past my appointment time. Another woman waiting said it had been an hour past hers. Did we leave the airport even then? No way! For the next half hour, the driver proceeded to slowly circle the airport, stopping at every Prime Time Shuttle (the company contracted by Shuttle2LAX to serve us on this night) location repeatedly until the van was filled. Did I get home then? No way! Because one of the passengers lived way East of my location. Had to drop her off first. When one of the other passengers complained, the driver informed him that no one else was complaining and if he wanted, the driver would let him out right here. The vehicles shocks seemed to have been shot, so we felt every bump strongly. My flight had arrived at 8:35 p.m. I was finally dropped off at 11 p.m. No apologies to anyone from the drivers, in either direction. Please give me a good reason why I (or anyone) would want to repeat this experience with Shuttle2LAX? [Note: I emailed this same review to the company's customer service address on August 9th. No response.] read more

Used one time. Going to the airport was a breeze, albeit earlier than I would've liked. But you get what you pay for, right? Anyway, if you want to read why NOT to use this company for coming back from the airport, read on. Maybe get some popcorn first. Had a reservation with Shuttle2LAX. They have no phone number for calling, but for texting only. Oh yeah, and an email option. Cuz that's time efficient... Sent a text to find out where to wait for the shuttle when I landed at LAX. Got an automated response saying they were not available. Great. Talked to someone at Super Shuttle outside and she directed me to Prime Time Shuttle. OK, apparently they handle Shuttle2LAX reservations. Who knew? It's certainly not written anywhere. Checked in with Prime Time and the guy told me that it would be 30 minutes because there were no drivers. But I had a reservation, so what gives? Then he told me he found someone who would be there in 15 minutes. Over 30 minutes later I'm directed to a Prius. One other passenger is inside in the back seat, and the front passenger seat is folded down, seemingly unavailable for use. My luggage fills the remaining space in the trunk. Driver circles around the airport for 30 minutes looking for more passengers, despite the fact that there's clearly no more room. Now it's over an hour after my reservation time and we haven't even left the airport. When I'm almost home, the driver turns off his GPS. Then passes my street. I asked him if I was being dropped off first at [my street name] and he said yes. I told him that he passed my street and he says "why didn't you say anything?". Well, buddy, why did you turn off the GPS if you didn't know where you were going? So he turns around and, in an annoyed tone, tells me "make sure I don't pass it this time!". Rude af. Never using this company again. You shouldn't either. Unless you like no customer service, waiting a long time, and rude drivers. read more

I wish I would've read the reviews here instead of trusting my local Facebook group. Don't hire this company! I booked a private car weeks in advance because I knew I was going to be exhausted after traveling for 20 hours and didn't want to deal with LAXit to get an Uber. Not only did the car never show up but I waited on hold twice, each time for 15 minutes, and was put through to voice mail. Don't use this company! read more

Worst service ever. Not reliable. They cancelled on me at my pick up time.

I heard about this through Dave Ramsey. I decided to give it a try. It pimped me out to Prime Time shuttle. Our flight arrival was at 10 p.m. We were picked up at 10:39 p.m. Meh There was no confirmation call as there is with Super Shuttle. Driver used the cell phone while driving. He was a rude driver. read more

Happy Valentine's Day! Another year, another day, another business trip and Shuttle2LAX just dropped me off. Why am I giving this a three despite getting a car that smells of MJ before my Paris flight and then having the driver spray air fresher into the car after one of the stops? Why am I giving this a three despite getting a driver that harassed me because he didn't see the tip I had preauthorized. What you need to know is that some of the cars (that are PrimeTime shuttles) are individually own like a franchise. The experience can be mixed and I've had lame@$% people, but I've also had really good people. I'm giving a three for the concept and for the good drivers that work hard. With every business, it just depends on who you get. It's $20/way with a suggested $5 tip (which I always just preauthorize on CC and then tip more if I liked the person in cash). As I travel 1-2 times every month, I save the company about $600-1200 a year not using private car service. I've always booked super early to get to the airport 4 hours before an international flight and 2 for a domestic and I've never arrived too late to checkin. But I have to say it's been late considering the time I booked my reservation. One time it was almost an hour after the time I booked my reservation so I was glad to have padded my time. Getting home from the airport, it's a matter of luck and if the driver has enough people or need the keep circling the airport. Not going to lie, I have waited pretty long and have stood there feeling stupid for not getting a taxi since my company pays for it anyways. read more

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I scheduled a shuttle pick for my 11:20a flight. As per pick up instructions, driver was suppose to arrive at 7:45a. At 7:50 I got no call or text regarding an update! so I tracked my vehicles location. It stated I had no driver and to check back in an hour! I reached out to customer service via chat, this shitty as dude EZRA with no customer service skills was short and rude! Because I cancelled the trip (paid for an UBER) he used it a excuse towards me! He stated the new driver was suppose to arrive at 8:30, cause the first driver had engine problems! Then I received a call stating my driver had more pick up and was delayed! What's the real story? Car issues or more pick up? I demanded for my full refund! I paid for a service, A service that could not be provided! If they had called prior to my cancellation, I would of kept it! But lying that it's car issues and more pick up? ridiculous!!! I will not be using this service again! rather pay Uber! don't waste your time! Tip for EZRA: learn customer service! U need classes or find a new job! Cause it seems like u hate it! read more

This is prime time shuttle's website. That explains the fact that you'll only get a reservation with Prime Time if you book through this website. How misleading! They double charged me for my last reservation and have been giving me the run around ever since. It's been 2 weeks! You have to find your way around the automated system to speak to someone. If you finally get to speak to someone, they either lie about when you'll get your $ or refer you to someone else. And you have to do that because you can forget about them returning your messages. read more

One star for six reasons: 1. No agent on site when I arrived at the airport. 2. No shuttle appeared at the promised time. 3. When I called the customer service number, the voice prompts were ridiculously long. When I finally got a live agent, he had the nerve to hang up when I asked if I could speak with a manager to resolve my issue. 4. One driver said "Sit down" when I asked if his shuttle was the one I was waiting for (it wasn't). 5. When a shuttle finally arrived, it was an hour late. 6. Upon trying to get customer service again, I was told that my booking time was changed to 10:00 from 9:00. I didn't change it. No one told me about this change. So, how did it magically "change"? Enough reasons for one star, don't you think? read more

This is a review coming from a Front Desk manager at a los angeles hotel. A guest of mine asked me to call this company for her bc it was running late. she was told that her shuttle will not be able to make it and did not offer her any options to resolve the issue. good news is that she was able to book an UBER that picked her up in 5 mins. i wished her well and i hope she made her flight but i would not recommend this transportation company to any of my hotel guests, family, friends, or yelpers. read more

Unbelievable incompetence; very poor customer service. What a deplorable business. I booked a ride with shuttle2lax nearly a month in advance. One of the benefits of the service, supposedly, was the given time of arrival at my destination. When I arrived at the airport, I was told my shuttle was on time. However, my shuttle picked me up an *hour* late. Let that sink in for a minute. But what's more: when I was finally picked up, we spent another 30 minutes circling the airport, watching our driver get out of the van and catch up with the porters. Absolutely no sense of urgency. And even then, the driver paid no attention to our schedule and waved us off when we inquired about the delay. read more

Sure the price is cheap compare to other shuttle companies.. but I'm not sure if I want to waste an hour to wait for the shuttle after my flight.. I flew from SFO to LAX with the earliest flight and arrived at LAX at 7am-ish. When I arrived at the location of Primetime stop, there's a guy there and I checked in with him. He said he has checked me in and the shuttle will be there soon.. then he disappeared. So I waited. 15 minutes. 25 minutes. Some people who came later than me was picked up. I asked the driver if there's anyone I can checked in with. They didn't offer me any help. They only gave me the phone number to call. I tried. No one picked up. 40 minutes. 50 minutes. Some Primetime representative finally came. Told them I"ve been waiting since 7am but they couldn't do much for me. Told me the manager will be here around 8. 60 minutes. 65 minutes. The shuttle finally came. At that point I was really angry and tired and exhausted. I tried to keep my cool and asked the driver nicely what happened and if he just got paged. He said yes, just got paged a few minutes ago. Told him I have been waiting since 7am. Seems like it really wasn't his fault and he tried to get me to my destination as fast as he could. Really, Shuttle2Lax / primetime. Thanks for the wonderful experience. read more

Shuttle2LAX changed my reservation time twice. Originally it was for 4:20. Then it was for 4:55 which was changed AGAIN to 5:20. At 5:34 the driver calls to tell me he is there but he wasn't because I was standing there waiting. At this point I flagged a Yellow Cab. The driver called again at 5:38 to tell me he really is there. Since this booking was for a 7:40 flight out of LAX and seeing that traffic was going to be bad, I hopped in the cab at 5:35. The people on the phone hung up on me when I called to try to sort things out. End of story: $80 cab ride + $20 tip for Georgi the Armenian ex-commercial airline pilot who will get you to the airport on time. read more

I booked my shuttle with Shuttle2LAX over 2 months ago for my trip last night. I was supposed to have a 10:25 pickup from LAX, Delta by Primetime Shuttle. When I arrived to the pickup spot, there were about two dozen people waiting for shuttles. Most were families with young kids who had been waiting for an hour already. Many were very upset. The girl stationed there was pretty much ignoring everyone. When I got her attention, finally, she told me that she didn't have a tablet and could only check passengers in by phone. After several attempts, she finally found someone on the other end of dispatch and said she had checked me in and "would let me know" when a van was available. That was all I heard for the next hour. Another employee then joined her to help and immediately started berating passengers about "being too close to her station." She then demanded that everyone back up and even yelled at one passenger for not doing so quickly enough. I also heard her say, "I tell you what you need to do and you don't listen." This went on for some time. When some passengers asked about their shuttle and why it was taking so long, she told them they would have to call the office because she "doesn't answer questions like that." She then continued ignoring everyone and when some people spoke up and complained, she told them they could "go somewhere else." Well they did - ten steps down the curb to Super Shuttle, which had regular shuttles running every five minutes. Shortly after that interaction, the Primetime shuttle that was supposed to be taking these people that had cancelled arrived with passengers in his van. He then spend about 15 minutes trying to convince those people to come with him, making his other passengers wait in the van. When he was not successful, rather than taking some of the others who had been waiting a long time to their destination, he angrily jumped in his van and drove away, leaving the rest of us gaping in shock! Whenever one of us would ask about our shuttle and when they were coming, we got blank stares or told that we had to be patient. My shuttle finally came close to an hour after the time it was supposed to. I was put together with four others who were going to various parts of L.A. and delivered next to last to my home. All told, it took 2 1/2 hours to get home (a 45 minute ride) from LAX last night because I used this service! When I tried to write my complaint via message, I got a text saying they were sorry but they weren't accepting texts. So I emailed their contact email and it came back as undeliverable!!!! If you ride with them, you are taking a chance. I would never recommend this service - awful with a capital "A." read more

After waiting outside for my driver who never arrived at all, I called the business and spoke to Mercedes, a customer service representative, and requested for another pick-up later same day or a refund. Here's the response she gave us: 1. She stated that she can't give a refund because we had a "wrong" address, when in fact the driver simply couldn't locate the correct address we gave them. 2. there's no way I could speak the her supervisor/manager because, that is not how they do their business. I was deeply disappointed with the service and company and strongly do not recommend anyone to do any business with them. read more

Having some of same initial sentiments of other Yelpers, I wasn't sure what to expect from Shuttle2LAX and needless-to-say, a tad bit worried ... a few scenarios were going through my mind, either they wouldn't show up or they would show up late thereby causing issues with checking in and potentially missing my flight. Was it worth saving a few bucks was my initial thoughts. I made a reservation a few days before my flight online, and it was a smooth process ... a email confirmation is sent once you fill out their form and your ride is booked. I paid for my ride during the reservation. This was convenient, as I didn't need to fumble with cash or credit card the day of the ride. On the day of the pickup, the driver came about 10-15 minutes early and he was just waiting outside my house. Since I was ready, I walked out and asked why he didn't ring my door bell. He mentioned he wasn't sure if I was ready yet since he was early. The driver was very cordial. As others have mentioned, Shuttle2LAX might be affiliated with Prime Time Shuttle, as that was the shuttle that showed up. Since I was the first to be picked up, he had another two stops to make, guess they have a minimum of 3 ppl on the shuttle requirement. Even with the additional pick ups, which are to be expected with a shuttle service ... I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. One thing to keep in mind is this is $20, while others are charging double that price. With the price of gas, this is a bargain especially if you're coming in from Diamond Bar or Walnut. I would definitely use them again. Be realistic and keep in mind that this IS a shuttle service (not private limo) and there will be multiple stops, and accordingly will take longer, so pad your time to make sure you have enough of a buffer to check in and clear security. read more

I took this to LAX in the morning, great experience, the driver was amazing and pleasant. Took the shuttle home from LAX. NOT SO GOOD. Lets say the customer service sucked and don't expect them to answer the phone. When I booked the shuttle the email didn't give me ANY directions for airport pickup which is different than HOME pick up (they NEVER explained this, so I sat for One Hour at the airport because my flight was early and I couldn't get anyone on the phone). Once I was aware of the shuttle pick up location, the attendant was rude and non-engaging let alone helpful. My experience was trying and frustrating, the van was full, I just thanked God that I was the first one to be let off that craziness. I will not be taking this service again. read more

The shared shuttle from Irvine to LAX took too many stops in between. When you registered for airpot pick-up, you get assigned a pick-up time that should get you to the airport with plenty of time to spare. What happened to my reservation was a total disaster. After picking me up, there were 2 additional stops to pick up other passengers and an additional drop-off to SNA airport along the way. By the time we were at SNA airport, 2 hours had already elapsed and at that rate I would have missed my international flight from LAX. My driver admitted that he did not speak English well and is relatively new at driving. I had to get off the ride and take an Uber. I should have just taken an Uber from the get go. Shuttle2LAX customer service does not communicate well with the driver when bad issues such as this happen. I am still waiting for a response to my complain and a refund. read more

I was picked up by Prime Time in Santa Ana and made it to LAX in an hour. The vehicle was actually really clean and the driver was really pleasant. Always on time on the pickup. Always screwed on the return. Was told 10 minutes by dispatch. 90 minutes later, I board a shuttle and am promptly kicked off for being on the wrong one. I was scared by the other reviews and almost didn't use this company. I almost spent $70 for a shuttle service that was highly rated here on yelp, but I'm glad I chose shuttle2lax. I had a good experience with Shuttle2lax.com I'm a baller on a budget, so I decided to try my chances and make a reservation with them. I wanted to be safe so I told them to pick me up 5 hours before my flight time. If they didn't show up like other people have said, I was going to take the Metro Green Line to LAX. I scheduled a 10:40 pickup and the guy came to pick me up 5 minutes early. They also called the same day to confirm pickup. It's a red PrimeTime Shuttle van, but don't let that put you off from using them. Maybe it depends on the driver. Some of Prime Time's might be horrible, but mine was great. I forgot his name but he was a really nice guy who told us he was from Indonesia. There were 4 other passengers in the van and they were all cool older people who joked around with the driver. I was the last one to be picked up so we went right away to the airport. There wasn't any traffic so we got there in less than 30 minutes. Everything went smoothy. I had a good driver, picked me up on time, he didn't drive like a maniac or use his phone during the ride and the van was relatively clean. The best part... only $20 + $3 tip. It's not worth it to spend double or triple the price for another shuttle. If you read the reviews for the other companies, those ones that charge double have been known to be late or no-shows too, so what's the point? If you're worried about this company, tell them to pick you up early and have a backup plan in case they don't show up on time. read more

I booked the pickup at LAX on March 30, but I was told there were not shuttles will be able to serve me, and I need to find something else to get out of the airport. I paid $52 and took Super shuttle. And now I am still struggling to get my refund. Just like the other reviews, it is cheap, but not reliable, you'd better prepare plan B. read more

I have no idea why there is so many negative reviews for Shuttle2LAX. Overall my experience with Shuttle2LAX was excellent. I had a flight for 6am so I was given a pickup time of 2:40am. That was fine with me since I live 30 miles from airport and I didn't want to ask a friend to drive me to LAX at 4am in the morning! I was assigned to Primetime Shuttle and it costs just $20!! Fast forward to the day of flight, I got a text message about 2 hours before my pickup time. It included a link to google maps which I could live track the shuttle driver! Nifty! I could also see how many people we were going to be picking up before and after and also the locations of the pickups. This is great feature because I didn't have any anxiety that my shuttle wouldn't show up and I would be scrambling for a last minute ride to LAX. I tracked the shuttle driver on google maps and once I saw him near my neighborhood, I just went outside and there he was on time! We picked up 2 more people along the way and it took about an hour to get to LAX. Normally it takes me 35 minutes to drive. Good experience and I would hire them again in future. read more

I booked my shuttle before coming to Yelp and reading reviews. I got nervous when I saw the negative feedback regarding Prime Time Shuttle, because that is who my reservation was contracted to as well. After reading reviews, I set up a friend as my backup for the trip home because it sounded like more of a hassle trying to coordinate with the shuttles leaving LAX. As someone stated in an earlier review, for $20 you really can't expect much more than a ride to the airport in enough time to make your flight. This isn't a luxury van or a town car, so if you want that kind of experience you will have to pay for it. Do these vans have turn signals? I wouldn't know because the driver didn't use his once. There was one point where he swerved on the 405 and almost hit a car in the other lane because he was making a lane change without said turn signal. The passenger's safety should be the #1 priority for this company, and this driver's skills were touch and go. The only time where his aggressive driving was acceptable was when we got to the airport terminal. I appreciated his assertiveness throughout the terminal as other drivers are just as ruthless. The van was clean for the most part. I had an issue with one of the seat belts in the back. It would not retract and there was dried gum on it also. Lovely. The other really good thing about this service was that I did receive the text message letting me know how close the driver was. I was also able to track his route and see the ETA. I was the 3rd stop of 4 and the driver arrived right at the scheduled time. The drive to the airport was quick and easy as it was only 2:30 - 3 in the afternoon during the week. Got to the airport in plenty of time for my flight so I really can't complain too much about the whole experience. As I stated above, I had a backup option for the shuttle home and even tried to cancel the reservation, but had trouble finding somewhere to do that from my phone. There was no courtesy call or text for this pick up and so I think you just have to go out to where the shuttles meet and find one. No idea how that works but I definitely didn't want to sit in that van for hours after my red eye flight. read more
