They didn't have the Tims but a good selection of some great work boots. I ended up getting the Wolverine for 10% off. The total was less than if I woulda ordered from Amazon. Shoeteria used to be the spot to get your kicks at. The place is now a shell of what it once was. I think the shift to industrial type shoes hurt this place. They have a limited selection of athletic shoes which used to be a major draw. Customer service also lacks from the disinterested employees who would rather carry on their conversation. This is what I remember used to make this a special place: the minute you walked in an employee would sit you down and get the right foot measurement, then they would bring out the shoes you wanted and helped put them on with a shoehorn. Most importantly, there were posters all over the walls. I still remember the'85 champion Bears poster with The Fridge. It's just not the same as it once was. read more

RUDE! My sis and I walked in the store and the 1st thing we heard was "Hi, welcome." We said hi, and right when I was about to ask my sis what kind of shoe she was looking for the younger light skin girl said" Are you looking for something?". My sis was about to respond but since she heard me unconsciously then she said, "Bye, have a nice day!" ??? Once we walked over to the back of the store to see the shoe my sis wanted, my sis ask the girl for the shoe size 8 or 7 1/2 but she was like "This don't come in 1/2 sizes!" with her bad attitude. We didn't know that information. My sis tried the shoe and she was not sure if the size felt right cause they are Dr.Martens boots so we end up going home and realizing that the young white girl threw the box in the chair and didn't hand us the 8 size in women's but MEN'S. We went back to the store explain the situation about not knowing that the size was in men size to the cashier. She took a little longer to bring back the right size 8 in woman. My sis tried the boots again and felt them alright. So we got an "exchange". Now, she just told me that both boots are different sizes. One is 8 and other 7. In conclusion to all this BS double or triple check on the sizes. THEIR EMPLOYEES NEED GREAT "CUSTOMER SERVICE" SKILL AND INVENTORY CHECK AS WELL! read more

Wow, what a major change in black work shoe inventory. I think you should change your name to "STEEL TOE SURPLUS R US" or "WANNA BE SKETCHERS". I was very disappointed to see that your inventory has reduced to half and half of what you have is sketchers. Talk about cheap and horrible quality. Staff was great ,very helpful .. Took my elderly mom for shoes, ended up buying CLARKS super comfortable sandal type for 92 bucks !! I got home and decided to look at more shoes and DSW had them for 59 bucks !!! It sucks that you can't get your money back they said only exchange .They should at least be competitive... Anyone who gives this place more than one star is a family member or a friend of the staff because their customer service is awful. This shoe place has so many shoes to choose from. Unfortunately, their service sucks. The staff there are not very approachable because they look angry and aren't very friendly. They seem like they don't really want to help their customers. When I asked questions about a work boot that I wanted, they weren't very helpful. Next time, I will go to another shoe place where my business is appreciated even if I have to pay more. Absolutely HORRIBLE Experience. From the Customer Service, Professionalism and TIMELY RESPONSE for replacing a shoe. I purchased for a smaller size. They have a NO REFUND policy and yet they have FAILED to provide a suitable replacement, my original purchase, nor a REFUND... 8 DAYS LATER. I am still waiting!!! I spent an inordinate number of hours via PHONE, EMAILS and IN-STORE visits to resolve the issue.. The Norwalk store manager Cynthia is rude and unprofessional. First of the location in NORWALK is so unprofessional. The manager Cynthia (so she said she was) left me speaking on the phone while I was explaining my situation and refused to exchange my purchase defected shoes. We purchased a pair of Avengers boots (workmen boots) after 1 month of wearing them they ripped so we went back to the store since they have warranty and asked to exchanged them which they agreed but because we did not have a receipt (only our ban statement) she would not be able to give us another exchange if the same thing occur. We did not think that $137.00 boots would come defected we just figured it was one bad boot. now again the same thing happened after 3 weeks and not only did they refuse to exchange but now they offered to give me a 25% discount on my next purchase. Why should I buy another pair of work shoes???? Worst customer service spoke to Gracy and Cynthia neither were any help or suggested anything to resolve the situation. This is where I buy all of my work boots, and much of my work wear. Their prices are reasonable, and the employees appear to be knowledgeable and eager to serve. It's refreshing to be served by young people who aren't just watching the clock. Somebody in management at this particular location is on the ball. Went with my husband to buy work boots and my 2 yr old had to go to the bathroom we asked if we could take her was told by one of the employees that they don't have a public restroom. We asked if we could use their restroom again told no as our two yr old was crying on the floor. My husband told her she might end up peeing on your floor and he was told by her not unless your going to clean it up. We left and as we left her reply was even if you were at subway they wouldn't let you us the reatroom. The girl that helped me & my girlfriend on the phone was horrible. I am not sure what her name was however my girlfriend called to put my boots on hold and the girl was giving her attitude and being short. I called shortly after just to make sure my girlfriend put the right style on hold before I drove all the way to Norwalk. The same girl answered and I asked if she had the shoes on hold, I waited on the phone for 3 minutes & I got NO RESPONSE so I hung up. My girlfriend called right after and the girl answered and she was like ya I put the boots on hold with the style number you gave me. Horrible experience here. While proceeding to do my holiday shopping I bought four pairs of shoes from the Norwalk location. I was shocked when I retuned to exchange a pair of boots and was confronted with the manager informing me they caught a "mistake" made on my initial purchase. They would not let me leave with my paid for initial items upon request, instead offered me a store credit minus 40 dollars for THEIR MISTAKE. The manager is abrupt and rude. if in the case you do have a comment or complaint I highly recommend going through their parent company, Robert Wayne footwear. The Shoeteria "customer service" 800 number is a voicemail number with the mailbox full (no surprise). And upon email complaint you will recieve no email response. I expect this from a smaller chain but this, to me, gives all Shoeteria locations a bad reputation. They truly don't value the loyalty or satisfaction of their customers. I even called to follow up my displeasure in service and have yet to receive a call back. Their is many mistakes made in retail, I understand that, but to penalize the customer is truly absurd. The poor management and bad customer interaction from the store manager Cynthia Quinones and her assistant Steven are especially lacking in a professional manor. Instead of penalizing the sales person they penalized the customer. So much for customer satisfaction. Thy have no regard for their costumes loyalty. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. read more

I was impressed with the customer service provided when I went in to buy 2 pairs of Docs. They were helpful, courteous, and it was really quick. Also found two other pairs of shoes on clearance (Converse and Minnetonka's) for only $10 each. The only thing I didn't like was parking in the lot a bit down the street. read more

Staff was helpful, must have brought out 15 different sizes and styles for me to try on. Ended up choosing a pair but returned them because the stitching on the moc toe rubbed on the side of my toe. No fault of shoeteria's. Tried to get a refund but was informed that they o lyrics issue store credit on unworn merchandise. So I had them order a different style and specific size for my wide foot. I was told they would arrive in 2 weeks, 3 weeks tops. Didn't get them until a little over a month later. Had I known that, I would have just ordered them off amazon or from the manufacturer and still have the option to return them for a full refund. Be sure before you purchase here. read more

I've asked for a Manger on both of those occasions that I had went in and they're unhelpful and don't really look like they seem to love their job,not only did it take more than 10 minutes just to get someone from the back the woman had the most excuse my language. you sure can find a wide selection of work boots to choose from. i decided to get me a pair of wolverine work boots that come with a "30 day comfort warranty". after i wore them for three days, i decided to return them using the warranty from wolverine because the steel toe was rubbing on my big toe and it was just too uncomfortable. i tried returning them to the store, and i was told that they would not take them back because they were already worn and that i needed to go directly through wolverine for the warranty. i think if you sell it, and it has a manufacturer's warranty, you should honor it!! read more

Attempted to EXCHANGE work boots because they were just a tad bit too loose to work with. They were worn for about half a day and BARELY had the slightest nick on the sole and the person behind the counter said they couldn't be exchanged because "he could tell they were worn, and people who buy work boots don't want scratches on their boots" (paraphrasing). THEY'RE F****NG WORK BOOTS!!! OF COURSE THEY'RE GOING TO GET SCRATCHED!! My workplace does a partial reimbursement of the boots but they needed my original receipt. I was only able to get a copy of it but he still wasn't able to work with me to try and exchange it and work something out. He was rude and was not able to be willing to simple exchange them for a different size. Any person working in an industry that requires work boots would not have had a problem with the absolute NEAR-MINT condition they were in. I had everything that required an exchange a copy of the receipt, which has the EXACT info the original one would have had. And the shoes were new by any one else's standards. I've been coming to this shoeteria in Norwalk for at least seven years. And every time I leave there I tell myself that this is the last time... Today I took my two small kids with me to grab me a new set of work boots... When I could finally get ahold of the girl to try on some boots I began with a couple pairs.... Then my 5 year old daughter tells me she has to go pee... Badly.... be vary aware of what you buy in this store the cleareance shoes are okay they are aftermarket damaged goods but most are in good shape and wearable.know as for there "backpacks which they have hanging like 12ft above on the wall are final sale ad that is due to the fact they are damaged like torn....my 11yr old son purchased a dickie backpack and the sales cashier allow him to purchase it with one strap shredded and said it was final sale the backpack is so damaged they shouldnt have even hung it up and sold it know im going through the dickie company directly to make them aware that they are selling damaged dickie brands and profitting from it in these stores and dickies has been very cooperative about the situation and is going to help me......so be aware inspexct everthing you buy there before you pay i dont want this to happen to anyone else...pretty sad just barely getting by and being ripped off.... read more
