My parents purchased a pair of adidas from their clearance rack and the second shoe was not out so they went to the cash register to wait for the other shoe and finish their purchase. The other shoe that was brought out was yellow since it was obviously a sample from the shoes that are left out for viewing. Not once did the male representative SHOW them the shoe was defective. I mean WHO would wear a yellow shoe??? I called the location today to speak to a manager and was advised there will be no refund. The customer service here is the worst I have encountered. Who would even think to do this or think ANYONE would wear this mismatched shoe. They should have shown my parents the shoe before the purchase and advised it was DEFECTIVE. I don't understand how they are still open. read more

I went in to this location because the other location in commerce did not have my size. This place has a great selection of boots. Store is pretty big and well stocked but this place needs to get rid of the cashier. I believe her name was Cynthia older lady with a I don't give a shit face and That's what my receipt says ,,I don't understand how you could have somebody, working with that type of a shitty attitude. I will never purchase anything from this store ever again in my life. So we bought a size 7shoes from here for my daughter. She wore it one time but she have difficulties with one because it was somewhat small. We tried to take it back and get a bigger size but the rude girl with the big face said they look worn. Like seriously we just bought this for $60, wore it one time and now it's worn? B***h please. You will never see my face here ever again. After so many years of always getting shoes from this store. Today is the last day for me.. read more

Great service and very knowledgeable on ankle support. Got free socks too .. Highly recommended

Nice shoes and great service, had everything that I needed. I will return for my work related needs.

I used to be a regular at the Vans shoe store down on Imperial but ever since I stopped by this store that has changed. I'm a relatively shy person but once I walked into the store I was greeted by a young gentleman named Brandon. He was helpful in guiding me around the store as well as giving some great suggestions! I didn't even know there were shoes based off of the movie Jaws. I bought two pairs! One for me and another for my son. If you come to this store request to have Brandon assist you with all of your needs. Goodbye Vans, Hello Shoeteria! read more

This place seemed okay, but I went in to exchange some $50 soles and the dude an the register act like I was messing with his personal funding. He refused to do the exchange an wanted to argue with me why they don't like doing exchanges. The little lady boy at the register can assist you for solid customer service. read more

Very poor customer attention. If they don't like to work there, look for something else. 03/ 3/ 21 Girls have this attitude I spent hundreds of dollars buying boots . I deserve a better customer service. read more

I stopped by to shop for work boots. A nice lady named Cynthia immediately asked if she could help me. She showed me where the displays for work boots were, and she gave me space to browse on my own. She answered my questions, and retrieved shoes that I wanted to try on. Customer service was great, the prices fair, and the shopping experience easy on me!!! Cynthia, I'll see you in about six months for my next pair! read more

Shoeteria - Shoe Stores Near Me - Norwalk, California

The selection is great, they do have a lot of items to choose from. They have 2 female employees who just seem to always be having a bad day because it shows in their face and they treat the customers as such. They reply as if we're annoying them for asking questions. This happened on 2 occasions last month in July. I even sent a buddy there thinking it was a fluke and he said he had a female with a bad attitude helping him. I hate to leave bad review but I'm just being honest. They need customer service training. A couple of the male workers kind of had a chip on their shoulders having a full blown conversation showing their phones to each other as I was checking out, when I was trying to have kind small talk, they would one word answer me just to continue their non work related conversation, which I thought was kind of rude. I guess this can only be chalked up as the new generation seems to think they have it all figured out and anyone older than them don't know anything. Lol can't wait till life humbles them. Other then the employees the store itself is great and as long as you can get past the so so customer service, you'll be fine. There are some employees that seemed kind but those ones were outshined by the rude ones. I'm sure they're great people but just shouldn't work in customer service. read more

great service. I needed new attire for work and everything was well organized and they were very helpful.

Best place to get your working boots!! Got here my industrial grade Dr. martens I got the best price from other shoe stores plus I got a coupon of 25dlls off next purchase. I live close by and never had the opportunity to stop by, didn't think they where going to have a good selection but boy I was wrong they have top of the line working boots and plenty of choices. I will be coming by for more boots... read more

TRY A DIFFERENT LOCATION BEFORE TGE NORWALK ONE The manager here is terrible, and weirdly seems to be on some kind of power trip. I don't know how this company feels it brand should be represented but I'm sure it's not being done so appropriately by Cynthia. I had a simple request for a reprint for a previous purchase and she flat out denied it and stated her company did not allow it. Ridiculous to me. I've been a store manager for 8 years now and am fully aware that every business has a point of sale system in place that allows you to search up an old purchase with some basic info like the ending card numbers, date of purchase and item description. I literally had to call two different stores for more information since for whatever reason the contact information for this company (which is also Robert Wayne btw, where I actually like to purchase my doc martens but will no longer do based on this experience) does not work. That's probably why Cynthia is on some kind of power trip since she might feel there will be no disciplinary action taken against her for acting as erratically as she does. I was lucky enough to get in contact with Maricella from Commerce who was super accommodating and was actually the one who ended up emailing my receipt. She really went above and beyond to help me amend the situation. I think it's ridiculous that she had to do Cynthias job besides taking care of the tasks she has to do at her own location. I can't imagine that Cynthia represents the brand in a way Shoeteria and Robert Wayne deem fit. It's so ridiculous the amount of time I had to spent and the lengths which I had to go through just to receive a simple "reprint". I doubt I'll ever shop at shoeteria or Robert Wayne again just based on this woman's behavior, if I were to consider it, it would only be because of Maricella from Commerce. Shoeteria might want to evaluate their management team and the people who are respecting their brand. I can't imagine how many customers and revenue they've lost because of bad experiences like this. A quick search on google and Yelp alone give you an insight. I was also never contacted by upper management? How are employees being held accountable, what's the chain of command ? Who's the business owner.? This whole ordeal was so ridiculous it was almost commical. read more

So I walked in wasn't greeted. Whatever. Saw the collection of vans on the wall and saw that they had a nice green one. So I grabbed it. I literally stood next to the opening to the stockroom because I saw someone walk in. She walked out right past me and didn't bother to greet or assist me. The store had a few customers non of which whom were actually being serviced and there were multiple employees. Although I was the only black face in there at least I know me being black wasn't why I was helped. The others didn't appear to be being helped either. If you want service then please don't come here. Customer service is definitely non existent here. read more

This place sells overly priced crappy work boots! They never have a good selection and all the shoes look worn.. only come here because of the company discount. Upon arriving we were greeted by no one. Everyone just seemed to ignore us and by the time we had decided which shoe and size we wanted, the girl we told seemed annoyed and went to the back and NEVER came back out. Shoeteria used to be the spot to get your kicks at. The place is now a shell of what it once was. I think the shift to industrial type shoes hurt this place. They have a limited selection of athletic shoes which used to be a major draw. Customer service also lacks from the disinterested employees who would rather carry on their conversation. This is what I remember used to make this a special place: the minute you walked in an employee would sit you down and get the right foot measurement, then they would bring out the shoes you wanted and helped put them on with a shoehorn. Most importantly, there were posters all over the walls. I still remember the'85 champion Bears poster with The Fridge. It's just not the same as it once was. read more

"Kool spot. I stopped in a few days ago just to try on before I ordered online. I was interested in Timberland Pro, Wolverine and a few other wedge soles. They didn't have the Tims but a good selection of some great work boots. I ended up getting the Wolverine for 10% off. The total was less than if I woulda ordered from Amazon. And I'm glad I tried on cuz I needed a 1/2 size smaller than my norm. Their prices might be slightly higher but with 10% off and being in the area for the 'drive-by purchase' I feel like I won. Thanks Shoeteria for the insanely comfortable pair of boots and the deal.." read more

RUDE! My sis and I walked in the store and the 1st thing we heard was "Hi, welcome." We said hi, and right when I was about to ask my sis what kind of shoe she was looking for the younger light skin girl said" Are you looking for something?". My sis was about to respond but since she heard me unconsciously then she said, "Bye, have a nice day!" ??? Once we walked over to the back of the store to see the shoe my sis wanted, my sis ask the girl for the shoe size 8 or 7 1/2 but she was like "This don't come in 1/2 sizes!" with her bad attitude. We didn't know that information. My sis tried the shoe and she was not sure if the size felt right cause they are Dr.Martens boots so we end up going home and realizing that the young white girl threw the box in the chair and didn't hand us the 8 size in women's but MEN'S. We went back to the store explain the situation about not knowing that the size was in men size to the cashier. She took a little longer to bring back the right size 8 in woman. My sis tried the boots again and felt them alright. So we got an "exchange". Now, she just told me that both boots are different sizes. One is 8 and other 7. In conclusion to all this BS double or triple check on the sizes. THEIR EMPLOYEES NEED GREAT "CUSTOMER SERVICE" SKILL AND INVENTORY CHECK AS WELL! read more

Wow, what a major change in black work shoe inventory. I think you should change your name to "STEEL TOE SURPLUS R US" or "WANNA BE SKETCHERS". I was very disappointed to see that your inventory has reduced to half and half of what you have is sketchers. Talk about cheap and horrible quality. No more keen oxfords or decent Dr. Marten work shoes. No sales or discounts like you used to have. Bless your sales team for trying to push your insoles, but I'm there to buy quality shoes, it spend $100+ and then spend more money on insoles. I have been recommended your location to everyone I know in the hospitality industry, but now I'm completely embarrassed for even doing so. You might as well add Shoes for Crews to your selection since your going to cheap quality, no support, and high prices. Not even one sales person could recommend a comparable shoe to my previous brand and modem that I had purchased from you. The 2 guys working fled after I was disappointed. The chick was at least trying to be somewhat helpful. Hey, thanks guys for leaving me hanging and not recommending anything for me. Get your keen black work shoes styles back. And teach your sales team tang Reebok isn't new Balance. Learn your brands! read more
