    First time ordering from here. The tempura combo looked good so I ordered it. For takeout, everything was packed very nicely. I like how the sauce is wedged in the rice so it won't tip over. Very clever. Unfortunately the tempura was just mediocre. The veggies were very dry and batter very thick. After like the 5th piece, my jaw started to hurt from how thick the batter is. I'd be down to try another item menu in the future but the tempura was just okay for me. Oh but I really enjoyed the salad! It was very refreshing and tasty.

    This was the plate the day after. I'm just about to throw it out.

    I would do no stars if I could. The chicken was done before I even ordered, rice way over done. They had the nerve to charge for extra sauce. I didn't even touch this food a told my friend because I go out my way for teriyaki, this has been the worst place I've had in my entire life.

    My go-to for ordering teriyaki off Doordash. Eventually decided its significantly cheaper to just go in. Prices a lot better in person than ordering. (+) good prices when not ordering delivery (+) big portions (+) really big menu (Id like to try the chicken and mushroom next) (+) one of the best teriyaki spots based on the 4-5 spots I've tried in Seattle. (-) Bit of a wait. Front guy is busy taking orders on the phone before getting to me and you can see the row of food they've prepared for the many delivery drivers that come in and out during the wait. That means a bit of a wait as the chefs balance those orders and mine. Good sign for the business though!

    Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but this is a great local teriyaki place!!! It is relatively inexpensive and good quality food! The family that owns this place is so kind and make you feel like a valued customer (: I got the chicken teriyaki. The chicken isn't overly saucy, but there's just enough teriyaki sauce to mix in with the rice! You get a very good portion size, and there will even be leftovers for the next day! Highly recommend the egg rolls as well! Crispy, crunchy but not oily!! Give this place a try!

    The Bi Bim Bop which literally translates hot stone pot was $17, not served in a hot stone pot, and the portion was in a bowl that fit in the palm of my hand. The guy at the counter said "well it comes with miso soup" the soup was in a to go sides dish about the size of a fried egg. The rice was not browned at all and barely warm. Also they did not provide enough sauce just one not even full ramiken. This meal could not have been worse. It also gave me diarrhera

    I ordered gyoza...didn't get it and was still charged it. Overpriced and not good. TERRIBLE and wouldnt refund me. Gross place don't go

My girlfriend and I stopped in before a flight, which in hindsight was a mistake. We ordered around 12:30 PM (niku beef udon, garlic pork udon, and chicken karaage), and it took nearly an hour to receive everything. The karaage came out first after about 40 minutes, then one udon about 10 minutes later, and the final dish close to an hour after ordering. Because of this, we weren't able to eat together unless one of us let our food go cold. On top of that, the restaurant itself was uncomfortably cold, which made the long wait feel even worse. It also seemed like many other tables were experiencing similar issues--orders coming out at different times or missing entirely, with customers having to repeatedly follow up. What stood out most was the lack of communication. There was no acknowledgment of the delays, no check-ins, and no apology--not when the food was dropped off, and not even when we left. Given that we had to pay upfront and the price point was $20+ per bowl, it made the experience feel even more disappointing. While the portions were decent and the noodles seemed handmade, the food itself didn't feel particularly special to justify the wait or cost. I truly hope this feedback is helpful. With better timing, communication, and overall service, I think the experience could be much better.

The money is used to support staff benefits, the support staff, and the line cooks. This is separate from the gratuity. This surcharge is clearly explained on the menu, and I really love and appreciate the transparency and that they care about the employees. But yeah. Super good. We love a good meal and we damn near left there skipping.
