They even took the time to recommend some great local training routes, which was incredibly helpful since I'm not from the area. The combination of their technical expertise, willingness to help at the end of their day, and genuine friendliness made this a memorable experience. I said you must have misunderstood, I just want a shifter cable replaced and not having just fallen off a turnip wagon I know that's a 10 minute job. In any case, that's not happening, so after 20 years and several bike purchases, I'm now a Trek shop in Allen customer. The only thing RBM has that I can't get online is bike service and repairs.
