I thought all hope was utterly lost until I came to JR's! I came to have both pairs assessed because I was SURE they were far too gone to repair! FEAR NOT-- hope was renewed as he told me he could repair my poor beloved boots. I put half the amount down so he could start and then came back 2 weeks later and they were finished! JR even cleaned the outsides for me really well and conditioned them! I actually didn't even know these boots were real leather, it had been so long and the tag on the inside is literally hanging on by threads. The only reason why I did not put 5 stars is because I had to call and ask about completion and I popped in 2 times to check. That was not a big deal for me because I live so close to the shop. Everything people say about having to come multiple times before your order finally ready, them naming one price and then charging a different one and not returning tax, ending up with poor quality job done, and bad customer service is true!! I had a bellow in the cushion that I reported immediately and the first thing that I was told by his salesman Carl and Mitch was that I was sitting on the cushion too much compared to the other 2 cushions. Come on, are these guys serious? After a bunch of back in forth, they repair a brand cushion because he refused to replace it. With same piece of furniture, I noticed that there was discoloration on the seam. I was told it was due to friction. Mind you, this sofa is downstairs and it is hardly ever sat on. I told Carl the salesman that this was not the case. He refused to back off on his ridiculous friction claim and sent my a nasty mannered text which I still have. If you have any problems with the furniture, these guys will try to blame the customer. In my strong opinion, this establishment is like a buyer be ware establishment. Both times that I had an issue with their product, they tried to blame me. The cushions that they use in my opinion are garbage. If you buy from them, I recommend swapping them out with better quality ones as soon as you can. I am no whiner though, let's talk the positive. My experiences with Mitch's son have been positive. He appears to be a fine upstanding young man. Additionally, the other sofa that I bought was of a better quality than the one I hardly use downstairs and I use this one everyday. Although the cushions are not great on that one either. They are at best serviceable. That is me being kind. I would give leather sofa a zero if I could, but I cannot because Mitch's son will at least listen to you and not accuse the customer of silly things like sitting in one section of couch that you buy less than 2 months after you buy it. I haven't delt with him much, but I cannot say that I have had any negative experiences with him. Fair is fair.

The moment I had myself in order it was time to pay Tecovas a visit. We arrived early Saturday. The gals that work here are the absolute cutest and most helpful. I tried on several different pairs. Enjoyed a yummy bourbon neat with a sparkling water as I shopped. Bestie waited for me, I told him he needed boots but he didn't try anything on. So many cute pairs here! I opted for a limited edition for now since I can come back for several others that are year round. We did the cutest branding on them with my initials and horseshoes. I love them!!!
