This review is late and we apologize for that. We purchased several pieces of leather furniture from Mitc Lurie and his family. We purchased a motorized leather sectional and sofa. The quality of the furniture is magnificent and the appearance is the best we have ever had. My wife and I are "older" so we needed furniture that would be easy to sit in, and get up. The only thing that surpassed the quality of the furniture is the wonderful interaction with Mitch and his wife. It was a great transaction and every day we sit in our sectional and sofa is a reminder of both Mitch, his family, and the quality of every facet of the furniture. THANK YOU!! read more

This is a horrible furniture store. Mitch is the owner. In my experience and look at other negative reviews, he seems to always blame the customer for his product not meeting the standard. I had a bellow in the cushion that I reported immediately and the first thing that I was told by his salesman Carl and Mitch was that I was sitting on the cushion too much compared to the other 2 cushions. Come on, are these guys serious? After a bunch of back in forth, they repair a brand cushion because he refused to replace it. With same piece of furniture, I noticed that there was discoloration on the seam. I was told it was due to friction. Mind you, this sofa is downstairs and it is hardly ever sat on. I told Carl the salesman that this was not the case. He refused to back off on his ridiculous friction claim and sent my a nasty mannered text which I still have. If you have any problems with the furniture, these guys will try to blame the customer. In my strong opinion, this establishment is like a buyer be ware establishment. Both times that I had an issue with their product, they tried to blame me. The cushions that they use in my opinion are garbage. If you buy from them, I recommend swapping them out with better quality ones as soon as you can. I am no whiner though, let's talk the positive. My experiences with Mitch's son have been positive. He appears to be a fine upstanding young man. Additionally, the other sofa that I bought was of a better quality than the one I hardly use downstairs and I use this one everyday. Although the cushions are not great on that one either. They are at best serviceable. That is me being kind. I would give leather sofa a zero if I could, but I cannot because Mitch's son will at least listen to you and not accuse the customer of silly things like sitting in one section of couch that you buy less than 2 months after you buy it. I haven't delt with him much, but I cannot say that I have had any negative experiences with him. Fair is fair. read more

The sales representative Jamie provided us with a lot of professional suggestions and aided us to select the best choice (size, color, leather..) and he's very friendly. We placed the order in April and recieved our beautiful sectional in September. Because of the shortage of "everything everywhere" ,it took a long time but it's worth to wait. I bought 2 couches from their Frisco location and bought their 2 year warranty. At that time, the sales person told us the warranty would take care of everything, if anything happened to the couches. A year and a half later, one of the couch arms has started fading. I called the location & was told that the warranty will only cover if it's ripped. They were no help at all, just kept telling me it's not ripped so there's nothing they can do. Not to mention, these are expensive couches to fade after a year and a half; poor quality. All I wanted was to have my couch arm mended based on the warranty I was sold. I will never buy from there or recommend to buy from them. They don't back their product. read more

I was taken back at first on the price but after I learned how they build the furniture and that it was made in Texas not like the others who build is Asian countries. They make great furniture and I really wanted to be a repeat customer. Despite being the only customer in the store they seemed uninterested in making a sale. The older gentlemen behind his desk glaring at me did not create a welcoming environment. I went down the road and spent $6k with the competition who actually seemed interested in selling a couch. We bought our leather sectional over 6 years ago and it's held up beautifully! We clean and condition it at least once a month because we have three 50 lb. dogs that love it too. Probably should have done this sooner but just ordered replacement seat cushions. Can't wait to extend the life of our favorite couch! Great service by the manager today. Great customer service and fantastic custom products. I've had my couch for about 3 years now and love it more every day. The attention to detail and quality of materials used (and choice of leathers) just can't be beat in this price range. Unlike another reviewer's experience, my leather has, like all quality leather goods, aged and worn beautifully. I'll be contacting them soon about adding a pair of similar chairs in the same color, as well as adding custom memory foam inserts for my sofa cushions. We absolutely love our new chair. We bought a couch from them last year and loved it so much, we went back this year to buy an accent chair. It's gorgeous. 01/13/2016 also purchased a sofa from this company 2 years ago. When I began noticing the finish wearing off, I reached out and was told that this is normal and was offered to replace for a substantial fee, despite having a 5 year warranty. Not acceptable. I recently reached out again with 25 before and after pictures. I will await the outcome in order to determine how I ultimately rate, and will withhold posting pictures or negative thoughts, until I receive feedback regarding whether they'll stand by the warranty and do the right thing. Hoping for a positive outcome and not the intervention of legal assistance. I'll provide update when a resolve is offered. UPDATE:Update...I spoke with salesman regarding my issue and submitted 18 photos of before and now. The response was, "...ypu have a special type of leather and what you are experiencing is normal. Business Owner 1/18/2016 Many natural leathers will fade normally when exposed to bright light and this 3 year old sofa is one that has done so beautifully. The picture on the left shows a cushion that has been turned around to reveal a back panel that has not been exposed to light. When placed correctly with the cushion front forward, the sofa looks very nice overall. No leather companies have warranties against the fading effect of natural leathers over time because it is normal and highly dependent on individual environments. Not a 3 year old sofa. And, to set the record straight, the fading began 6 months after purchase, thus is it safe to say that should a consumer purchase a red sofa from you, it'll surely be orange within a year? BUYER BEWARE! As well, I'm willing to test your theory in small claims, should the BBB be unable to persuade you to do the right thing (stand behind your warranty) for the right reason. Furthermore, fading and aging are 2 different things. I've had leather furniture and leather coats, neither of which faded, despite having been exposed to the elements, so come again Mitch? I will also upload more pictures showing areas that suggest the dye on this sofa was sprayed on. It's funny how you are so quick to post a response in an open forum, but are unwilling to return phone calls regarding complaints. And, given that you seem to be interested in the complaints waged against your company on yelp, why don't you correct the issues, as you obviously realize that posts such as these can perpetually erode your reputation in the eyes of potential consumers. Regardless of the outcome, reviews such as those you've received, coupled with the way in which you defensively respond, rather than proactively resolve, enables consumers to make a conscientious decision as to whether purchasing from your stores are worth the risk. This company makes great couches as long as you don't have any plans on sitting on them. Silly me, I thought when I paid over $6,700 for a custom leather couch that I could actually use it . Not so, as soon as you start sitting on it the color will immediatly begin wearing off. To make you feel better about your your purchase they will completely ingnore your complaint and blame it on something that you did. Understand before you buy that their warranty does not cover the finish. read more

Horrible customer service!!! The arrogant salesman ask us if we had been in a leather sofa store before. My husband replied no. He states that their leather is real unlike in furniture stores and that they make all orders in house. We walk around the store. I sat in a recliner. Felt both the inside & outside for button to recline. When I attempted to recline by manually pushing back. The pretentious prick states "You are going to break my chair!" I stated "Who are you talking too!?!" I immediately got up and left his special leather store. As I was exiting his palace I said "You need to learn some customer service". I got in my convertible Porshe and closed the top as the other salesman walked out of the store and looked in awe!!!! I recently purchased a custom white leather sofa and have been very satisfied with the comfort and quality. Aside from the sofa, their customer service was outstanding. I first went in the Frisco store to see what they had to offer and met one of their sales associates, Marc. Though I had no intention of buying that day and as a younger customer, I was still taken seriously and treated with respect. I returned weeks later to purchase. I received the couch about 5 weeks later which was within their 4-6 weeks estimate. read more

I regret ever walking in this store. The sofa, chair and ottoman we received in our home was nothing like what we saw on the showroom floor. When we voiced our dissatisfaction with not only the salesman but the owner as well, they basically said there was nothing they would do about it. We were willing to take the 40% restocking fee hit but the owner declined. The leather looks and feels more like cheap pleather, has puckers where it shouldn't, crooked seams and has scratched up with minimal usage. My wife and I are greatly disappointed. Can't believe we spent so much money for such poor quality furniture. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy read more
