A few days before my initial bridal appointment, my stylist Abbie gave me a call to get a sense of my vision for my dress and we proceeded to email back and forth about a few gowns that could fit the vibe. I loved this because it allowed me to have a solid starting point upon entering the shop in person. Throughout the appointment (1.5 hours), my parents and I were treated with warmth and care, and we never felt rushed or pressured. They had a great selection of dresses, and Abbie pulled all the right ones to help me arrive at my top two that day. I took about a week to think through everything before reaching back out to schedule another appointment to say yes to the dress (I couldn't stop thinking about it that entire week)! I ended up finalizing my dress at a&bé about 7 months before my wedding day and while they initially informed me that they may need to rush the order, they were actually able to get the dress ordered without any rush fee which was great. And furthermore, my dress ended up arriving way before the timeline they gave me as it only took a little over 2 months! Pricing was also within my budget and comparable to other shops I visited.

Alexi reached out at the beginning of February (my appointment was at the end of February) to introduce herself, gather initial information about what I was looking for, and get to know me. She instantly made me feel at ease opening up to her. I was anxious as this was my first time trying on dresses. Alexi was so kind and understanding. I shared that I did not want to know my measurements, and she completely respected my wishes the day of my appointment. On the day of my appointment, she made me feel like the most important woman there and the most beautiful human. She found my dress on the first try (I kid you not), but allowed me the space to try on others. She never pushed me or rushed me. She allowed me to try it on again at the end of my appointment, with it completely done up (veil, flowers, sleeves). It was truly one of the easiest shopping experiences I've ever had. I attribute a lot of that to Alexi; she is such an amazing person! Everyone at the salon, though, was kind and welcoming. I am sure every other stylist is just as great! The parking out front was not an issue for me; however, it is mentioned in their email when you book your appointment, so keep that in mind. I felt the price of the dress was very good. We were greeted by the super sweet Taylor, who got us settled in and brought us some champagne, then I was assisted by Alexis. After helping me try on the gown I'd been pining after, she brought me a few completely different gowns to try for fun... and the third one was so stunning on me I CHANGED MY MIND! Alexis knewwww hahaha. Apparently the entire time we were having a blast, another bride had a meltdown and was yelling at the staff for being 6 mins late to helping them.. Alexis and Taylor were visibly short staffed and killing it, did not deserve a second of it... and managed to keep the magic alive for the other brides without skipping a beat. Talk about professionalism!!! The appointment was last Saturday and it couldn't have gone better. It was the second salon we were scheduled for that day and it turned out to be the only one we needed. Annette was my stylist and she was so sweet and helpful. You can tell she really loves her job. She's super personable and knows the dresses inside out. Out of the three salons, she was the only stylist that prepped the dress for me to step into it. I know that sounds crazy,but some of those things are huge and it's not easy to find the floor and not trip on the dress. It's one of those little things that makes a big difference. She made the whole process so fun for me and my bridal party members that were with me. When we found the top 2-3 dresses, she made sure we went to the front of the store to get photos in sunlight so you could really see the detail. I'm sure all of the stylists are great...we met a few and they were all very nice and seemed to really enjoy their job. But if you can request Annette, do it...you'll be so glad you did. They kept the champagne flowing, the process moving along without it ever seeming rushed and had everything at their fingertips. I found the perfect dress and veil and was super excited to find out that I got 20% of that day. That really helped the budget. But in all honesty, their prices are fantastic. The dresses are GORGEOUS and high quality for great prices. We looked at two other salons (one I loved, one not so much) and Winnie was very competitive with the first one and WAY better than the second one. They also have a feature on their website that allows you to look through dresses and put them in a virtual closet prior to your visit so they can pull those gowns for you, and get a feel for your taste to show you others that are similar. They were the only one out of the three we went to that has this option. It was super helpful. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I booked an appointment here based on the good…read morereviews, and when credit card info was requested to book the appointment I thought nothing of it since some other bridal shops require a deposit for your appointment, to be charged only if you no-show which I completely understand. I showed up on time for my appointment on a weekday afternoon (not typically a peak time), was shopping by myself since my family lives out of town, and tried on a number of dresses before it became clear they didn't have "the dress" for me so we ended the appointment a little early. There was nothing extra provided here - just someone to help you try on dresses as it is at every bridal salon, a dressing room, and a mirror. After the appointment, I noticed my credit card was charged $27.06. I figured it was an oversight so I emailed them to get it reversed, and they informed me that's not a deposit - that's what they charge customers to shop here and refused to refund it. I never would have made an appointment had I realized I would be charged to shop here, and it seems like a shady practice to charge brides to shop at your store. Before it even came to my attention that I had been charged for my appointment, I told my fiancé this was the one place I would not consider going back to since I felt like I was there to buy a used car, not my wedding dress. I was repeatedly asked what was keeping me from buying today and was told that there would be a discount only if I bought my dress there that day. The couple other salons I've been to have not pressured me at all to move forward that day and have told me to sleep on it and come back to try my favorite dress on again to make sure it's the right dress for me since buying your wedding dress is a special thing and not something you should feel pressured into. I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone based on both the experience and their billing practices.

This meant that we worked closely with the Stardust team for 2 whole years, and they kept us organized (but most importantly calm) throughout the entire process.
