I had two transactions with them in the last month, a purchase and a repair. The new watch is BEAUTIFUL!!! And the repair was faster and a better price than other places. Also, working with Amanda was a delight. I hope to work with her, and Wingates again! read more

On 17 September 2025, my wife, purchased watch inventory# C52383 (a Breitling watch) from sales rep: LG (Invoice #117483 attachment #1). Assuming the watch was fully operational, my wife kept the watch safely in the box until it was presented to me as a wedding gift on the afternoon of 10 October 2025 - the night before we were married. On the evening of 10 October - approximately 2 hours after I first put the watch on, the black bezel ring fell off. To prevent creating stress for my wife during our wedding the following day, I used a small piece of two sided tape to stick the bezel ring back on. I also went to multiple watchmakers to find a better fix, but none were available. Following our wedding, on Monday 13 October 2025, I went into Wingate's Quality Watches store (12900 Preston Road, #1010, Dallas, TX 75230), and I explained the situation to the woman at the window - who took the watch and confirmed that the bezel ring was, in fact, broken. I initially requested a full refund, and according to the woman - after consulting with the back area - Wingate's would not provide a refund: "local in-store sales are final and not eligible for return." I let her know that we would be considering litigation based upon frustration of being sold a broken watch - particularly as a wedding gift. Once we departed your store, I immediately took the watch to the nearest Breitling Dealer, and they conducted a full analysis of the watch conditions - and they produced the attached diagnostic and quote for "necessary operations that must be carried out to ensure that your watch operates correctly" (attachment #2). This owner, Robert Wingate had the opportunity to make this right, we were not asking for a refund, but to simply reimburse for what was broken. Mr. Wingate refused to acknowledge the broken watch, and simply said we will "glue" it back together. Additionally, the box and paper work did not match the watch- as stated by Breitling company. After multiple opportunities and persistent emails, this review and other reviews to other sites will be published to the public. We are writing this in efforts for other consumers to not be taken advance of as my wife has been. Paperwork from Breitling has been attached for other consumer to be aware of the poor condition of the watch, the poor leadership of this company and its owner. As stated by Breitling, the watch was in poor condition, not only the bezel was broken This company is NOT an authorized dealer for any high end watch. Buyer beware!! Regardless of how this company responds- we have all email communication for anyone who is hesitant in working with this company. read more

Bob runs a very good shop. Straightforward, fair pricing and great experience with quality service and products.

I trust WIngate's Quality Watches. I have been doing business with them - before the internet. They are just as fantastic now as they have always been. Amanda is great to work with. I just had routine service on my Rolex. These are the people to trust. read more

I found Wingate's through an online search. Their website inventory seemed amazing. I wasn't comfortable ordering an expensive watch online without seeing it, so I took a drive to their office. Their office is a office on the 10th floor of a very nice building. Not a showroom with watches on display. Amanda buzzed me in and asked what I was looking for. She said she could help and would be right back. Moments later she opened a door and had the exact watches I'd spent many frustrating months looking for. The prices were what I was hoping for and the quality of the watches were better then I expected. I ended up getting exactly what I had been searching for. I highly recommend Wingate's. Thank you Amanda! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. After calling and inquiring about a few Cartier watches~ Amanda was extremely rude and off putting. Maybe due to our young age, I am not sure. Even in person she barely spoke and gave unkind looks the entire time~ it was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing for both my boyfriend and I as we were looking for my college graduation gift. I usually don't leave reviews, but I would hate for someone else to be treated this way! Our budget was between 2-5k but not sure why that is anyone's business but my own. We also left in a hurry because it was awkward and uncomfortable not because of the price. read more

Seamless transaction with Wingate's. I called and spoke with Jonathan to request more photos of a particular item. He sent a video of the piece as well as another I wanted to compare. Online purchase system was fast and flawless--and my watch was shipped within the hour. It arrived next day via FedEx packaged well and already sized for me. I was hesitant to shop online but I'd definitely buy from them again! read more

I've purchased two time pieces from Wingate. Both transactions were accompanied with trade-ins. The experience was top notch and they were fair on the trade-in value as well as working with me to secure the time pieces I bought. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend to any one looking to purchase a timepiece with confidence. read more

Wow! How you handle mistakes says a lot about a business. I can not recommend doing business with Wingates. I am having an awful experience with Wingates regarding warranty on a bad Rolex Explorer they sold me. Specifically the service from Amanda has been terrible. I've been accused of being dishonest, alleged the watch in photos isn't the watch they sold me, had them Go back and forth on paying for watch shipping back and reverse, refusing to share original listing advertisement and photos, no communication or reply's to emails, excuses after excuses - First no accountability - now finally changing story the watch was "jostled" in shipping and caused scratch. Hard to believe but I don't care just want watch in condition as advertised. I'm patient and ultimately know I'll be just fine. As an active watch collector I can not recommend doing business with Wingates at this time and recommend doing research and saving Every photo and piece of communication and document everything. Once they've got your money, it appears the service ends. I will keep posted on any new events, as they can still turn negative into positive if they choose to. read more

I had the opportunity to work with Bob, Pat, and Amanda at Wingate's, and it was a delightful experience - Especially as a first time buyer. Terrible experience with this seller! Purchased a Rolex watch that runs 10 seconds fast a day and they have offered no help at all. I sent to an independent watch repair shop that is fixing it along with replacing the non-oem bezel that they used as a replacement. My advise to any potential shopper with this business is get it in writing that they use oem parts as replacements and if you choose to do business with them make sure your watch is running in spec. Sadly I wanted to have a good relationship with this seller as I buy 1 to 2 watches per year but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for a reputable company to spend my money with. I reached out twice to the owner by email with no reply. read more

UPDATE: January 2023. Just received my second watch from Wingate's Watches. I had bought a Rolex last year for my wife's birthday. The watch was super nice as was all the staff. Everything went so well, my wife and I went back again. This year, my wife bought me an Omega Seamaster for my birthday from Wingate's. It is also very nice and looks brand-new and works great. I was in the market to buy a Rolex "Deep Sea-Dweller Deep Blue" 44mm and I called all Rolex dealers in Las Vegas and none of them had the watch so I started searching for it out of the state. I found the watch at Wingate's Quality Watches and I spoke to Jonathan. He gave me the wiring instructions and told me that I can return the watch within 3 days. I wired them the money and received the watch in a Fedex insured box couple of days later. The watch looked exactly like the pictures on their website and it came with the original box and papers. I received excellent service and patience throughout the buying process. The associate, Sean, answered all my questions and provided me with a quality product.
