Although her watch needed nothing more than a new battery, Mr. Giraldo checked everything out and cleaned it up, inside and out - at no additional charge. Old fashioned service that is rarely seen these days. Al Giraldo is wonderfully easy to work with. I began working with Mr. Giraldo in 2020 while he was dealing with two business challenges that would have been my undoing. As if the Pandemic weren't enough, Al Momentum's shop in Preston Royal was ravaged by the October 2019 tornado that tore through the heart of North Dallas. While the building with his shop is being restored, Mr. Giraldo works out of an apartment across Noel Road from the Galleria, where he meets with customers by appointment in the building's well-lighted lobby with comfortable seating. My two dealings with Mr. Giraldo have been worthy of recommendation. I look forward to benefitting from his craft in the future.

Assuming the watch was fully operational, my wife kept the watch safely in the box until it was presented to me as a wedding gift on the afternoon of 10 October 2025 - the night before we were married. On the evening of 10 October - approximately 2 hours after I first put the watch on, the black bezel ring fell off. To prevent creating stress for my wife during our wedding the following day, I used a small piece of two sided tape to stick the bezel ring back on. I also went to multiple watchmakers to find a better fix, but none were available. Following our wedding, on Monday 13 October 2025, I went into Wingate's Quality Watches store (12900 Preston Road, #1010, Dallas, TX 75230), and I explained the situation to the woman at the window - who took the watch and confirmed that the bezel ring was, in fact, broken. I initially requested a full refund, and according to the woman - after consulting with the back area - Wingate's would not provide a refund: "local in-store sales are final and not eligible for return." I let her know that we would be considering litigation based upon frustration of being sold a broken watch - particularly as a wedding gift. Once we departed your store, I immediately took the watch to the nearest Breitling Dealer, and they conducted a full analysis of the watch conditions - and they produced the attached diagnostic and quote for "necessary operations that must be carried out to ensure that your watch operates correctly" (attachment #2). This owner, Robert Wingate had the opportunity to make this right, we were not asking for a refund, but to simply reimburse for what was broken. Mr. Wingate refused to acknowledge the broken watch, and simply said we will "glue" it back together. Additionally, the box and paper work did not match the watch- as stated by Breitling company. After multiple opportunities and persistent emails, this review and other reviews to other sites will be published to the public. We are writing this in efforts for other consumers to not be taken advance of as my wife has been. Paperwork from Breitling has been attached for other consumer to be aware of the poor condition of the watch, the poor leadership of this company and its owner. As stated by Breitling, the watch was in poor condition, not only the bezel was broken This company is NOT an authorized dealer for any high end watch. Buyer beware!! Regardless of how this company responds- we have all email communication for anyone who is hesitant in working with this company.

When I brought the watch back to the store on 10/15/2025 and requested a refund, the owner refused to give me a refund leaving me stuck with a non authentic Rolex. Horrible experience I would not recommend to anybody that they come here. The owner is a scammer!

This is not a Rolex service center. It is a place that will restore your Rolex to original quality…read more That is a very important distinction. I have taken three different watches here, including a 2021 submariner, a 2005 sub, and a vintage 1964 Datejust. The basic price to restore a watch will be about $900, excluding parts. You don't always need parts - my 2005 just needed servicing and now works perfectly. The '64 Datejust was $1600, but that included significant replacements including the crown, the hands and the dial. Along with the polish, your watch will look nearly new when it is returned to you. Great service, as you would expect from the brand.

If wearing it 24h it runs 5-6s/d fast, not the +-2s/d they advertise but still very good for a mechanical watch. After RSC doing some research and myself answering a few questions and exchanging more information as to history of my watch services, etc. We were able to resolve our differences to a mutually satisfactory level. And I would continue to use / recommend using the manufactuer RSC as they have the experience, tools, and spare parts necessary to complete a service. I tend to have my timepieces serviced following aircraft maintenance philosophy "service after x amount of time regardless if running poorly or not, as gaskets degrade with time, so does the lubricating oils inside watch and its much less costly than repairing it after the fact than if it had an accident such as water damage, or rotor striking the movement body. I decided not to take it back because I just don't feel comfortable letting them have it again. I'm not certain their techs are Rolex certified. Now it's on the way to Rolex in Florida.
