It was just links, so I didn't think it would be too complicated. The owners daughter was working there. As soon as she started I could tell she was having difficulty with it. Mind you, its a new watch that was a gift to me. She removed the links and had difficulties with the clasp after. My heart almost dropped. A brand new Movado watch broken?! After more hammering and pulling out what looked like a plier of some sort, she had it fixed. I should have known better. I don't see them in business much longer, unfortunately. I don't think they have alot of experience in this business. Plus there was no air flow in the shop since they turned the air off to save electricity. I was dying. If you need a watch repair and don't want to pay the price Fast Fix asks for, I definitely recommend King Arthur Jewelry and Watch repair. Sweetest couple ever who will provide quality work for a good price. King Arthur is on 15th and 75, right behind Wells Fargo bank.

I was charged $20 just to get the one link attached (no parts replaced). I came back after I had paid, once I realized the repair man put the links on backwards. He tried to claim that's how it was attached originally (it was not) and that it was impossible to not attach backwards (despite the fact one end was already attached CORRECTLY, on my own without tools, when I first brought it in). He must have taken it off and reattached both links. After I pointed this out, he tried to lie and say otherwise. He refused to reattach the band because it was "aftermarket", and that he would know because he had "real Rolex's" in the back. This shouldn't have taken more than 5 minutes to fix, but he was probably too lazy to do that since I already paid. Despite his warning I did get the watch wet and moisture accumulated. When I took the watch back, he told me to leave it with him and come back in 30 minutes. When I did, he said he had put cement around the bezel of the watch! By the time I got home there was moisture again inside the watch. He then told me to put it in a pot on the stove and heat it for a couple of hours. Realizing he did not know what he was doing, I took the watch to an authorized Rolex dealer. Not only had the bezel been cemented, the balance stop spring and bridle were both missing. This watch had only been serviced by Rolex in the 40 years I have owned it. You draw your own conclusions. Mr. Chamosa and his wife are very charming people, and I really believed in them. Now, not so much. It's costing me a fortune to fix the damage done. I would avoid this business at all costs.
