Solid place. Fair premiums. No BS. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked in with $450 to spend on silver. Told them straight up what I had. They did the math, gave me options, and let me choose. Ended up with mostly 1 oz rounds and a couple smaller pieces. Easy process[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The transaction was smooth and honest. They actually talk to you and make you feel welcome, not rushed or pressured. If you're new to silver and gold, they explain things without talking down to you[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Sometimes the lines are long but that only proves that these guy are exceptionally awesome . I called other coin shops before going here. One wanted $8 premium on rounds and $10 on Silver Eagles -- straight ripoff. These guys were a lot more fair and resealable. I asked them their premiums up front and they told me straight up $1.50 on rounds and $3.50 to $4.50 on Silver Eagles cant remember. At the time, silver spot was around $80-$81. And change. Even though this place isn't the closest to my house, I'll drive out of my way to come here. Worth it. Good experience, good people, fair prices. I'll be back. They've been around for over 40 years, and when you walk in you can tell why--they care about their craft and their customers. They've got a cool selection of coins from all over, but I actually came in for a different reason: a watch that had been gifted to me needed a new battery and some adjustments. I usually wear an Apple Watch, so having a "real" watch fit properly was a little foreign to me. Johnny walked me through it and even after I thought it fit well, he suggested one more adjustment. Sure enough, when he brought it back, it fit like a glove. That kind of extra attention and expertise is something you don't always get elsewhere, and I really appreciated it. On top of that, he took the time to check the watch and noticed the gasket had been pinched by the last person who changed the battery. He went ahead and replaced it, which gave me peace of mind knowing the watch was properly protected. That's the kind of detail that separates a true professional from someone who's just rushing through the work. They use high-quality parts and Swiss batteries, and it shows. Even better, they actually came in lower than their original quote--always a pleasant surprise, and definitely better than the other way around. You guys are just nutty. It's almost comical at this point. Read their response to my earlier review. Please know, NONE of this ever happened. No one is after their customers. And yes, in a tiny store like that, if someone starts speaking to me, I'm going to be friendly. The funny part is the guy i had a conversation with (while we were waiting) is an Auctioneer that worked a charity event i attended. We knew some of the same people. We laughed about some stuff and that was it. He never complained to you and you know it. As far as replacing "valuable" pennies? What are you talking about? I brought in a box of Pennies, he looked at every one of them, made an offer, i countered, he refused. I knew nothing about them, he explained why his offer was fair. so i accepted his offer. Then he paid me, and i took that money and spent all of it in his store. End of story The ONLY time we EVER questioned him is when he offered us 30$ for some 90% silver we had brought in. Which was ridiculous (that was when silver was bouncing around at 75$/ounce). When i asked him why so low?, he simply said "the refiners aren't buying - and don't want it". [[HIGHLIGHT]]So....I politely said, "ok, no worries, i might just wait till silver goes back up again." Well he clearly did not appreciate that response at all! and visibly became irritated with me, but at least he didn't start screaming at this point[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. He knew i knew absolutely nothing about silver or coins. BTW, the next day i sold those same coins for 50$ per 1$ value. Anyway, as far as your suggestion about finding another coin dealer, i think i could throw a rock and hit one less nutty than this one. read more

I inherited some coins and bills I hung on to for about 20yrs. It was time to see if they were "worth" anything. I didn't really want a "pawn shop" bc those can be sketchy and I really didn't want my inheritance to go to druggies or something. So I found this place on an apple map search. I went there to learn a little bit of what I had in the coins I've collected in my 61 years of life and also to sell some gold and silver for some needed cash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Instead I was not greeted but approached by an angry man who was short and rude on his replies to what questions I could get out of, other questions I tried to ask he assumed he knew what I was asking and reall just cut me off with an answer I wasn't looking for.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The angry man seemed more interested in the melt value of my coins and not the value of the coin itself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I never even had the chances to pull all my rare coins out before he turned me over to the female staff member who was very nice and tried to inform me a little but angry man would grumble his thoughts to her interrupting our discussion so I just pulled out enough to get the cash I needed and leave[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . Then the angry man tried telling what not to sell but failed to advise me which way to go.. maybe they should change their name to Quick Draw Gold and Silver so another new coin collector doesn't make the same mistake thinking they can get some rare coin info.
