I needed some gold jewelry repaired so I went to Yelp and this place came up within my area. I called to make sure they repaired jewelry and the young lady said they did. I brought in my items and agreed to the price quoted for the repairs. The problem was when I came to pick it up it was incorrect. The necklace that was to be repaired was cut when it should not have been and the bracket that was supposed to be cut was not even touched. I had to explain again what should have been done and then wait for them to fix it. I wasn't offered an apology or a discount or anything for my inconvenience. In fact my final price was higher bcuz they forgot to add tax in the quote. I think they need to just deal with diamonds since gold is too "basic" for them to do properly. Do not recommend for gold repair. read more

I was looking for some simple watch repair for a simple piece of family history we found in my Mother in laws home after she passed. This was a simple battery operated quartz watch face that is very sentimental to my wife. I walked into their shop not sure what to expect due to its location along Central Expressway and NOT in some fancy shopping center. The young woman that greeted me was extremely professional and just downright welcoming and sweet. They took it right away to be looked at and after no more than 5 minutes came back with a perfect working watch. Only needed a battery! They could have made this so much more difficult and it was such a refreshing display of customer service you don't see anymore. I have purchased very expensive jewelry and watches at places ranging from expensive stores at Northpark mall to Private shops in the Diamond district of New York City. After doing some more research after the fact (and telling by the highly secure and refined atmosphere) its pretty clear I will give the folks at Elite a shot at my next "special occasion" purchase. AJ and Doug are the nicest humans in the whole world. I was on the hunt to find any ring that was a quarter size to help me decide what to do with a ring that was too loose. Every jeweler I had went to in DFW only had the full and half sizes. I finally called after hours of driving around and Doug picked up the phone and was incredibly pleasant from the get go. They looked all over their showroom to see if they had a ring in the size I was looking for and was able to find one. I immediately headed over and was able to try on the ring. I called to ask about polishing my wife's engagement and wedding rings and he picked up, answered all my questions thoroughly and let me know his availability. I dropped off her rings early afternoon and had a good chat with him. Later that evening, he says her rings are already ready for pick up. Even though it was close to his closing time, he offered to stay later if I needed some extra time to pick up her rings. Once I picked them up, his work for polishing was phenomenal and made them look like new. Most importantly, she was very impressed. I was truly blown away with Elite Jewelers. They did an amazing job resizing my engagement ring. Went in around 5:30 pm and AJ was so welcoming and explained the process to me. He took his time sizing my finger and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He told me it would take two days to get done and I explained how I couldn't be away from my ring that long (insert puppy dog eyes here..lol). He understood and let me know it would be ready next day. The cost to have this done was less than the chain jewelry stores and could be done in less time. I told two weeks at those stores.
