Love my new A.D. in Fort Worth. Lani has been my salesperson; super knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. Never felt rushed or pressured, that's what I like, gives me time to make a decision (though I'm pretty impulsive so doesn't take long. ha). I just bought a beautiful Tudor BB68 and an Omega Aqua Terra 41 with a truly stunning turquoise dial, lots of compliments and I've only worn it twice! Manager came over and introduced herself last time and gave me a really nice Tudor umbrella which was a nice bonus and made me feel appreciated. Now on the "list" for a Yachtmaster 40 Rhodium. In 1987 I bought my husband's Piaget Polo wedding band from baccendorfs. We registered for our wedding there too. Baccendorf's sales representatives told us the Piaget Polo collection was one they would always carry and guaranteed it was quality jewelry with a lifetime guarantee. Our extended families spent thousands at Baccendorfs buying and expensive plates and flatware for us. Baccendorf representatives also claimed our purchase records would always be accessible stressing lifetime service etc. When my husbands wedding band BROKE in two pieces I took it into Baccendorf's for my "lifetime guarantee". Baccendorf's did not have the records, the Piaget Polo mark was not on the ring because Baccendorf's removed it when they sized the ring for my husband and Baccendorf's had lost the ability to represent the Piaget Polo line. The current representative did take the ring in for Baccendorf's jewelry repair to look at it stating he would call me before anything was done. After not hearing from him for two weeks I called the store and another representative told my Baccendorf's was already fixing the ring and wasn't going to charge us anything. He said he would have our representative call us when the ring was ready. Even though I was upset our representative had not bothered to call us as promised before anything was done I was ok with the fact that Baccendorf's had at least done what was right and had "repaired the ring for free". A few days later our representative called leaving a message on my cell stating the ring was ready and we owed $90.00. We feel REPEATEDLY DECEIVED and wish we had never done ever bought anything from Baccendorf's. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE by STEVE SIXTA and store I have been speaking to Steve Sixta on purchasing a Rolex watch since early 2019. He has been OK in person but a poor communicator by email. Today, I sent him an email expressing my continued interest. I did not want to take up his time and thought he would prefer email rather than chatting in person or by phone. I know Rolex watches are increasingly tough to get at the moment, but I have been patient for over 2 years and have initiated communication with Steve while he has largely ignored me. Here was his curt response: "All watches tough THX" I appreciated the response, but wasn't thrilled by his curt response. He did not answer my questions or offer to assist in any way. It doesn't take someone working in the watch and jewelry industry to know "All watches tough" - this is an example of horrible customer service by this person and the store. These are not cheap watches, and I expected more from Steve and Bachendorf's.. I cannot speak for the other Bachendorf locations but i can speak loud and clear about the Bachendorf location at the shops at clearfork in Fort Worth, TX.I was recently given my grandmothers Rolex watch which dates back to the 1990s. I knew nothing about Rolex watches but knew there were numerous certified Rolex dealers I could take said watch to get serviced. Given my location the Bachendorf location at the shops at clearfork in Fort Worth, TX was my closest location. As soon as i walked into this "establishment" i immediately felt 100% judged. The employee at this establishment gave me his name but after the most complete embarrassing moment of my life I couldn't even tell you his name. As soon as he took the Rolex out of the box he immediately went from the box is 100% wrong, the watch is absolutely without a certain of a doubt 100% not Rolex ,without even taking the back of the watch off to verify the serial number. Basically how dare you even come into this establishment with this watch??? My heart hit the ground. How can something so precious given from my grandmother be fake?? After more research, i found another certified Rolex dealer nearby that spoke to me with actual curiosity of this watch. He took me over to the Rolex location of the store, took the watch out of the box, whether legit or not with a Rolex glove and examined the watch. He soon came to realize the watch was in-fact 100% Rolex. Like i said, i can not speak for other Bachendorf locations but the one at the shops at clearfork in Fort Worth, TX should not be Rolex certified if they can not identify Rolex watches that are 30+ years old. read more

The Rolex inventory challenges are not the fault of the Authorized Dealers and I don't think it's fair to put blame on them for their limited inventory. My nephew was born this month. I walked in and told them I was hoping to get a 2021 submariner at some point this year to pass down to my nephew. I was told that this wasn't possible. I own a Rolex and have purchased pieces other than my Rolex but not at this AD. Very pleased with the service! Rick Mendoza was extremely courteous and helpful to my wife and I. We simply stopped by to look for a new setting for her engagement ring without any intention to buy something that day. Rick listened to what my wife wanted in a ring and found just what she was looking for. She was so happy with what he'd found for her that we decided to get it right away. He introduced us to the man who'd be resetting our current diamond into the new ring and went over every detail as to how it would fit and look when finished. Even better, the finished ring was ready to be picked up the next day! It turned out even better than expected and my wife is overjoyed with her new ring. The rudeness of the staff blew my mind so much, I thought I was in a prank show. I went in to get my Rolex sized and repaired. I look young, but came in professionally with an expensive watch and the intention of purchasing more jewelry. I fully intended on buying my birthday gift today. However, the salesman who helped me out changed my mind and lost the store a sale. He was dismissive of my concerns and spoke over me on multiple occasions. Towards the end of the visit, I was mid-sentence and he turned and *walked away*. I had to follow him to continue speaking, as my comment was important to the repair of the watch. While I was still talking, he went into another room to grab something. He was completely silent when he came out and almost didn't even look at me. Finally, I had to ask if he had heard what I had said. He turned around and responded in a way I can only describe as *sassy*. All he did was repeat the sentence I just said to him, as if I was a child or an annoyance. For a quality jewelry store, the entire interaction deeply disappointed me. Bock is my go-to for any big gift occasion. My family has been coming here for years and I think we all sport something that was purchased here for either an anniversary, engagement, wedding/birthday/holiday gift or other special event. When I was in high school, my grandpa had a ring made for me by Bock that combined a collection of rings he had received for military service, political work, social affiliations and his eventual retirement. What went in as a jumble of mismatched rings with various stones of different shapes, sizes and quality ended up being a beautifully set and SIMPLE (nothing gawdy or tacky here, folks) ring that incorporated the right piece from each ring. I try not to wear it unless it's a special occasion, but it's something I get complimented on endlessly when I do have it on. The only bit of jewelry I regularly wear is a nice watch I got for a graduation gift. The problem I have with nice watches is they need nice maintenance every five years or so. I recently had to take my watch in for some of this lovely maintenance. After my watch was shipped back to the original factory to get cleaned and to have some parts replaced, Frank in the watch department called to let me know I would need to pay $800. Jaw, meet floor. I don't have $800 to put down on a watch. We're in a recession, people! I let Frank know I wouldn't be able to cover fees that high and to not do any of the repairs. I decided I would try and find a local, unlicensed place to do the repairs. Frank hinted that would be a bad and eventually more expensive idea. He asked me for permission to send the watch back a second time to see if he could get the price adjusted. A few weeks later, I get a call. . .the watch is now going to have the same service done for $350. I was thrilled and asked Frank how he got this to happen. He said they told the jeweler that I'm a special customer (I'm not) and it would mean a lot if they could work with him on this one. I'm going to be re-united with my watch today and will post pics once I am. read more

I got engaged on Thanksgiving, and my ring was several sizes too big, and this location had a jeweler on staff the Saturday after the holiday. Although I arrived close to the end of the jeweler's shift the staff member who helped me (Rick) assured me I would get my ring back that day and it was ready in about an hour. Everyone in the store was amazingly friendly and made me feel so special. I went back on another occasion because I still felt the ring was too large, and Rick recognized me right away and again resized the ring with very little wait time and even had my ring cleaned . I went in and look around and look around I came close to a male sales person and he never said anything to me, not a greeting or something, after seen him leave, I went my self to approach a sales person, then I ask if I could have some one help me and a nice lady answered me with a smile and a greeting, after been there for about 15m. Collette Formen was the name of the lady who answered all my questions and helped me achieve my goal. I ended buying what I went to buy. I have been meaning to write a review for some time now because I love this company, their inventory, and the people who work there! I have had three POSITIVE experiences here: 1) They credited my purchase when they didn't have to: I purchased my husbands ring from here, and later that day I received a phone call saying they overcharged me bc the price of gold was lower and credited my account-- talk about honesty! 2) The manager was a pleasure to work with with when buying my diamond stone from my previous marriage. He gave me a very fair quote. 3) Earlier this week (mind you this is Christmas season) one of my engagement stones fell out of my ring, my ring is an heirloom piece, I was devastated but also frantic because our wedding is this December 27th. The repair person was not only able to replace the missing stone in time, but he also tightened several loose prongs (the ring has 26 stones) and he replaced a second chipped stone for me-- all in time for the wedding.
