I genuinely can't think of a single thing they aren't doing right. You walk in and immediately it doesn't feel like you walked into a jewelry store all standoffish like. It feels like you walked into a friend's house and I say that because if you stay in here for longer than 30 seconds you WILL make a friend. I have over the course of a year gotten multiple items fixed and even sold a few things and each time I have been happy with the price and even happier with the work. I went to 5 jewelry stores before I came to this one I had a bent prong and a broken prong on the same ring and was trying to get a price estimate on both prongs and he took the ring in and didn't give me a price he first fixed the bent one and then ONLY gave me a price (a fair one I'll add) on the broken one meanwhile everyone else nickel and dimed me on both prongs. I have been doing business with them for over 20 years and have never had anything but excellent service and pricing. My husband and I have had Howdy repair/clean valuable family pieces and we bought every item for our wedding and gifts since then. Wow absolutely unbelievable business. As someone that is a immense watch enthusiast, I go through my fair share of battery replacements and other watch repairs. And I can not believe I never gave this place a chance until now. The clerk was as personable as they come. He made me feel taken care of and was super nice and informative throughout the battery replacement procedure. What I love most about this place is ease and comfort by which the shop owners go about their business. There's always at least 5 different conversations going on between them and their guests. I had an amazing experience at Jewelry Limited. I requested a quote through Yelp and the owner responded very quickly and was so helpful. I came in the next day to have a minor repair done. The owner greeted me by name and shook my hand. He was incredibly nice. He originally told me it would take a few days to do my repair (drop off Friday and pick up Tuesday) since it was a busy time for them. He then decided to just do my repair on the spot to help me out. I just got engaged and was hesitant to give up my ring for a couple days :). He did a WONDERFUL job and I'm so unbelievably happy with his work, he even fixed another spot on my ring that i didn't even realize needed fixing (at no extra charge, by the way.) Took a pendant in to be wrapped in gold for a necklace. I was quoted in between two and three hundred dollars and was told it would take two weeks max to accomplish. A month after I brought it in I drove 3 hours to check and see if it was done, he hadnt even started on it yet and was very rude. Howdy did however show me how much gold he was going to use (by the way is no where close to the amount he actually used). Approximately a week after that visit Howdys wife Ginger called to say it was ready. When I arrived at the store to pick the pendant up I noticed the lack of gold compared to what he showed me I asked him about it which he blew off and denied. Then I asked him if he could flex on the $297 dollar charge or give a discount for it taking over a month and a half to accomplish. He insisted he couldnt work with me and that he wasnt making "that much of a profit". As a business man myself providing services to others I am very appalled at his lack of customer care. If I tell a client I am going to provide a specific service in a specific amount of time I either do it or adhere to the customers wants upon the time of completion in terms of price. I would not reccomend anyone to deal with this company or its owners they do not understand good business or customer service. read more

I definitely recommend this place! I needed a 14K gold Kendra Scott ring resized. After Jared's questioned whether it was actually 14K or just gold plated, I was told they couldn't do it without losing the Kendra Scott engraving on the inside of the ring. I took it to Howdy, and not only did he have no issues keeping the engraving, I cannot even TELL that it has been resized. To make matters even better, he originally told me it would take about a week to do the ring because they were busy (no complaints with that... it's right after Valentine's Day)... but they called me the DAY after I dropped it off to tell me the ring was done. Howdy! My family has been going here since I was an infant (that's 30+ years). My mom always brings any jewelry issues here. Need a watch battery replaced? Need a ring resized? Need a wedding ring? They've done it all for us. I needed my watch band resized and after I met my girlfriend, I needed wedding rings. Jewelry Limited took care of us and we would do it all again if we had to do it all over again. Prices are reasonable and they will give it to you straight. If it doesn't make sense to resize a ring, whether it will be too thin or too costly, they'll tell you so you don't waste your money. After debating on whether I should replace the battery of my favorite watch or get a new watch, I decided that it'd be more cost-effective (and would save me the time of having to find a new favorite watch) to get the battery replaced. This pro/con list inspired the hubs to get new batteries for 4 of his favorite watches :P. I called around and by far, Jewelry Limited was by far the best price ($7.50-10.90 depending on the battery needed) and bonus! If you bring in 3 or more watches, you get a dollar off per watch. So I dug through drawers and brought in 6 watches. Howdy and his son were super nice and helpful. The Hubs had about 5 watches that needed new batteries and I had 3. A quick battery replacement was sufficient for the majority of our watches. One of mine needed a custom rod built which I debated about but decided to get done and am glad since I've already worn it 3-4 times and the hubs had a watch that need some parts glued back on so I had to leave it overnight. All in all, pick up was easy and 5 battery replacements, the glued pieces and custom rod cost less than $60. This is way cheaper than buying that many new watches! Thanks JI! read more
