Highly recommended! We bought our wedding bands here after bouncing around the big chain jewelry stores. We are so happy we found Dallas Exchange Diamond. No sales guys to deal with, only a one-on-one with the owner Roderick who will make sure you're happy with everything. Because of the big chain store's huge overhead, they can't even come close to Dallas Diamond Exchange's quality and price. And you get the amazing customer service of a small business. Please excuse the pun but this place is a gem

Roderick is THE MAN! We booked an appointment for a custom stackable ring set. I showed him exactly what I wanted and told him what we were willing to pay and he made it happen! My husband upgraded my wedding ring(s) before our 2 year anniversary and I couldn't be happier! I'm OBSESSED with my rings! Before we picked the rings up he had someone come in to appraise the rings and it came with a full, detailed report. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for something custom.

6 years ago my wife had to sell her engagement ring and wedding band for us to be able to to pay our rent and utilities that we had fallen behind on. She has gone since then wearing my grandmothers band. I knew she always wanted her own ring again so now that we are in a better financial position I bought her a surprise for Mother's Day. It is spectacular and got a great price She LOVES it! Thank you all

I have gotten hundreds of compliments of how beautiful and unique my ring is!

My husband found Rodericks info 6 years ago! He was looking for the perfect person to help us design my dream rings! Roderick drew and then produced a CAD of exactly my vision. I wanted something a bit different with multiple diamond sizes, platinum and rose gold. He worked with me showing his some past custom pieces he has done and gave me some ideas on how to execute my style. When we weren't able to find the size of pear shape diamond I wanted, he brought some in my NY! From start to finish the whole process only took 4 weeks and was stress free! It was so fun watching all of my ideas and visions come together to such an amazing, sparkling creation! Seriously, jewelry design is art and Roderick is fantastic! Today my ring still looks flawless! I take it in a few times a year and they clean it while I wait. I haven't had a lose diamond or any issues! My husband was also able to order a matching wedding ring from Roderick as well. Our experience couldn't have been better--

I would never trust Diamond Exchange Dallas and owner Roderick Watterson , he is out for himself. My experience when I first met him was pushy, arrogant and a dishonest. We only went with him because of pricing, we should've shopped around more! We already had a ring picked out in a Tacori setting with a halo and a 3 ct center. The ring came out good, but unfortunately was not exactly what I asked for. I wanted the setting to have 1 caret in the band and it didn't so all you saw was the ring not the diamonds, very disappointing. Fast forward my fiancée proposed to me it was a beautiful day. Then he got cold feet, split left and took my ring. We live in TX and TX state law which Roderick should know being a wedding engagement jeweler that my ring was a gift and is my property (241 S.W.3d910,912). Fate would happen and my Ex sent the ring to Diamond Exchange to have Roderick sell it for him. He couldn't so he was going to ship it back to him. I was main contact on file and Roderick reached out to me on Fri. 11/18/22 and said when would you like to pick up you ring? I was taken back but said on Mon. 11/22/22. I showed up I got my ring from asst. then Roderick came in and made me take off the ring. I asked what is going on he said I got a text from your EX not to give the ring to anyone but him. I explained to Roderick that he stole the ring from me and my lawyer and I were already in the process of suing him for it. This ring was a gift and it is my property. I asked if he would hold it and I will have my lawyer contact him stating it is mine. He said if that is true I will give you the ring back. My lawyer emailed and sent a hard copy of my demand letter the next morning stating the ring was mine a value of $17,250. I went there the next day to pick up my ring called when I was outside and Roderick stated he mailed ring back on Mon. which was false it was after 5 when I had left. He refused to give me my ring back knowing it was mine. This is one of your most important days in your life, picking out your engagement rings. I would never do business with a crooked owner like Roderick and Diamond Exchange Dallas. They are not even accredited with BBB!

Roderick took care of us and my fiancé couldn't have found anyone better! He even shipped in my stone from Florida. We just picked out my wedding band and his wedding ring today and couldn't be happier. Thank you Roderick for making our engagement so special!!!

I don't normally post reviews, especially negative ones but this was such a big decision and high-end purchase I felt like my experience was worth sharing. After calling multiple times over a few days and no one answering, my fiancé and I showed up at The diamond exchange to find that it is not an actual jewelry store but just a few people in small, stuffy office space in an office building. I met Farrah who brought me into an office and sat me down in front of a desk. There where no display cases or inventory books for us to look at so after a short conversation of what we were looking for, Farrah opened the safe and pulled out one setting and one diamond that was close to the specifications I was looking for. I did thorough research online so immediately realized the diamond was over priced. My fiancé liked the setting so I asked about other options for the diamond. Farrah went back to safe and grabbed a much smaller but still overpriced diamond for us to look at. I asked if there were other options and she said no. We agreed that I would text some links to similar diamonds I found online and she would see what they had. After looking online for a week or so, I forwarded Farrah one of the more reasonable priced diamonds I found and she told me to go ahead and purchase the diamond online and that she would mount it in the setting we had picked out if we purchased it. So that's what we did. We agreed on a price(via text) and I brought the diamond in to have it mounted in the setting. (I'm including our text messages for you to see.) When I returned the following week to pick up and pay for the ring, that's when Farrah told me there was an $80 charge for setting the stone. When I protested and told her that she should've told me about that fee before I agreed on a price or ANYTIME during our conversations before she set my diamond in the setting, she looked at unapologetically and said, "Well that's how much my jeweler changes and I am certainly not going to pay for it." The whole experience felt shady and unprofessional to me. There was no paperwork or specification paper on the ring i purchased and no warranty card or anything. Just the verbal reassurance that if anything happens to the ring, they would take care of it. I know $80 isn't much compared to a $6,000 diamond engagement ring but it still isn't the way to do business. My advice is to do your research and purchase online. (Here is how to buy the biggest and best diamond for the money. Color: G color is lowest you should go on the scale. It still appears colorless to the naked eye but you don't pay the premium. Clarity: SI2 or SI1 is the lowest you should go. Most SI inclusions can't be seen with the naked eye so you can get a bigger diamond for the price. Shape: keep in mind round cut diamonds are usually slight more expensive due to the fact they are the most popular shape. If you get a different shape, you could probably get a better deal) I purchased a beautiful G/VS1 1.12 princess cut diamond from James Allen online that was 10% bigger and about 1k cheaper than anywhere else I found.
