My favorite part though is THE SALE RACK. Today I got a skirt for $10, and once I got a dress for $4! If I want to treat myself but not spend a lot. I head straight for that rack. I paid extra for shipping protection. I was told that was to insure my package against loss or damage. Well isn't it lost? I called ahead to warn her I'd be running in with my hair on fire, and she was completely ready for me. Within seconds of arriving, she had three dresses pulled - catering to my existing style and build. I was able to try one on, check out, and make my dinner on time looking and feeling great. The Y&I selection is always strong, but Angela went above and beyond. Turns out she's also a personal stylist, and it absolutely shows. We have been to nine of the top bridal shops, as recommended by The Knot, in Dallas and Houston. We had our hearts set on one from an Italian Designer who is new in the USA. We had one place offer to order the dress, but we would have to buy it unseen. At Korshak on our first trip, we were waited on by Laura and she showed us several beautiful dresses, one of which we loved. The next week we went back to several stores with the Maid of Honor, a bridesmaid, the future mother-in-law and sister-in-law, the mother of the bride, a lifetime friend of the mother, and myself. Once again we were treated like we were all very special and we found the dress that caused everyone to say, "That is it!" However, being a once in a lifetime choice, we wanted to think about it. The next week, the bride and I went by to have her measured and the designer for the dress we all loved, was there. The bride is tiny and so the designer himself measured her and told her how he would make the dress to match her small frame and height. She then told him that she was hoping to find the Italian dress and he showed her how he would remake one to look very similar to that dress. Each time we went, they treated us just as they did the first time. If they were tired of our indecision, it never showed. Laura showed us a new dress the designer had brought with him and we decided it was even more perfect than the first dress we decided on. Again, we left to ponder our decision. We will be calling Laura tomorrow to have her order the last dress. We will recommend Stanley Korshak Bridal to everyone. They made wedding dress shopping the special and fun time it should be. The Yellow Rose store location did not disappoint! The staff is so welcoming and warm. They greeted me at the door and instantly began determining if I was a just looking or destination shopper. They offered me drinks and began to explain more about the over 160 store locations that serve customers as well as the newest brand extension: Yellow Rose. As a native Texan it felt like home. I made an instant connection with an associate who formerly lived in New York and moved here for family. She talked about family and Texas life and how excited she is to work for Kendra, having had recently met her, and being a part of the Dallas team. How rare it is to speak to someone who loves the people and place they work. She showed me so many items and asked more about my sister. She even showed me the next piece she would be getting and the range of great prices for items of various styles. The location offers onsite engraving as well to customize and level up the experience even more! As a third generation farm owner it felt like home. Yellow roses are symbols of friendship- that say "I care about our relationship" and I truly believe the brand and store embodies that here in Dallas.
