We had a wonderful time shopping at Stanley Korshak Bridal for my granddaughter's wedding dress. I live 365 miles from Dallas, and the bride lives 185 miles from Dallas. We have been to nine of the top bridal shops, as recommended by The Knot, in Dallas and Houston. We had our hearts set on one from an Italian Designer who is new in the USA. We had one place offer to order the dress, but we would have to buy it unseen. At Korshak on our first trip, we were waited on by Laura and she showed us several beautiful dresses, one of which we loved. The next week we went back to several stores with the Maid of Honor, a bridesmaid, the future mother-in-law and sister-in-law, the mother of the bride, a lifetime friend of the mother, and myself. Once again we were treated like we were all very special and we found the dress that caused everyone to say, "That is it!" However, being a once in a lifetime choice, we wanted to think about it. The next week, the bride and I went by to have her measured and the designer for the dress we all loved, was there. The bride is tiny and so the designer himself measured her and told her how he would make the dress to match her small frame and height. She then told him that she was hoping to find the Italian dress and he showed her how he would remake one to look very similar to that dress. Each time we went, they treated us just as they did the first time. If they were tired of our indecision, it never showed. Laura showed us a new dress the designer had brought with him and we decided it was even more perfect than the first dress we decided on. Again, we left to ponder our decision. We will be calling Laura tomorrow to have her order the last dress. We will recommend Stanley Korshak Bridal to everyone. They made wedding dress shopping the special and fun time it should be. I hope their online shopping system to be improved for example including order confirmation, shipping information etc. in the account. So, I'm getting married. Woo hoo! Pop the bubbly! And that means buying the perfect wedding dress. I knew I wanted to try on a variety of dresses, so I figured I would start at the top at Stanley Korshak. I expected impeccable service, and impeccable service is what I received. Pamela, my bridal consultant, let me roam free to pick out the first round. Then she led me upstairs to my own HUGE, private room to try everything on. As I picked out things I liked and didn't like about each dress, another round of gorgeous dresses was brought up by the staff. I bet I put on at least two dozen of them. Pamela was so helpful with everything, and so honest with me. I really appreciated that. Even though they knew I wasn't purchasing that day, it didn't stop them from letting me romp around the store in as many dresses as I liked. I was there for almost 2 hours and felt no rush at all. And you know what? I found The Dress that day. Three weeks later, I returned to look at The Dress again with my mom. And we did indeed purchase it. Yay! Gorgeous, new Louboutins, Fendi, Valentino for 50%-75% off? Free shipping? No sales tax? Yes please. Again please. And again please. My favorite place to order shoes, so many already (Eek! Bad wallet!). During the clearance sale, the staff is sometimes slower to ship out your purchases. According to their website, they are supposed to ship online orders out by the end of next business day but they don't always do this. They won't do a price adjustment after the shoes go on sale, even if the shoes get marked down again the day after you ordered them. Other high end dept. stores will do this (Yay, Neiman Marcus). Still, with the free Fed Ex shipping, great sales prices if you wait long enough and no sales tax, there are great deals to be had. read more

While I love to hang out with my girls at the Shak and occasionally splurge on a couple items--they DO have some diamonds in the rough (or, not-so-rough, overly soft, sugared up dripping with sweet, loud ladies only to be found in this area of Dallas and only to be accompanied with men found on sugardaddy.com), if I didn't have a couple good friends working up there, I'd be frightened away by the employees in the other boutiques. But I do love going up there and do so at least once a week. No, I definitely don't make a purchase that often--I'd be so far in the hole at that point, I'd be one of the vagrants spending the night in and around the courtyard, using the fountain as a shower. Come to think of it, that doesn't sound so bad.... You'll NEVER be disappointed with the eye-candy here...and remember, not all candy is tasty. Whenever I visit Dallas I like to visit Stanley Korshak. After parking in the underground lot you take the escalator up past a giant fountain. Then it's like stepping into luxury heaven. They carry tons of top-of-the-line brands, my favorites being Roberto Cavalli and Balenciaga. Last trip I got some amazing glitter eyeliner there %30 off! In "The Shack" they had a sale rack with plenty of goodies on it but I actually ended up with a non-sale item. A sweet little dress by some company made in USA (I buy things made in the country designed, which SEVERELY cuts down on what I can buy! Made in China? You can get that at Wal-mart.) read more

The bridal salon at Stanley Korshak is phenomenal. You can see that many others have enjoyed their personal attention as you walk through and see Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith and their wives pictures on the wall. I had the absolute best experience with them while planning my wedding. They happened to have my dream dress, but that was just the beginning. I ordered all my bridemaid's dresses through them and they took care of keeping up with all the girls who were spread all over the country and making sure measurements and payments were taken care of. One less thing for me to worry about. I had one bridal consultant I worked with the whole time and we became friends along the way because she was so great. The alterations were spectacular, as they had to take a ton of material out of my dress after I lost some weight. All in all, I could not have imagined a better experience and would highly recommend them, and my consultant, Mia, to anyone. read more

If you like clothes and labels, this is your place. Everything is VERY expensive but very chic, trendy and beautiful. Basically a local version of Barney's or something like that. I think it is actually nicer than Barney's though. This review is for the Men's Shak in Stanley Korshak. I came here to buy a suit from Suit Supply, which is located in the Men's Shak. The service was impeccable. From my first phone call, to the fitting, to the pickup a few days later - every step of the process was handled with utmost courtesy and care. It sounds cheesy, but I really felt valued as a customer and person. When I picked up the suit, I tried it on and we discovered that the pants needed a little more work. They were able to get it done while I waited so I wouldn't have to drive back from Denton. In total, I interacted with about 7 different employees to varying degrees during my two visits there (some with just a simple greeting), and they were all consistently friendly and helpful. On top of that, I'm pleased with my purchase. Seeing Stanley Korshak's website from a computer in Denton, TX was a little intimidating ($300 boxers!), but the employees at the Men's Shak provided one of the most satisfying shopping experiences I've had in a while. Just go to Neimans. I was not warm and welcomed when I went. I didn't feel excited to be a bride there, and they were extremely judgmental. They are REALLY hard to get in contact with. They didn't even call my mom when her dress was in, and have not followed up about my wedding dress, even though we're in a pandemic and my dress is being made in Greece. When my mom called to see if her dress was ready they said "haha, oops!" ???? If you're looking for high-end dresses and high-end dignity and respect, do NOT come here. read more

In the city clothed by Stanley Marcus with a Barney's, Stanley Korshak can fit a suit much better than the other two. While at first prices can seem astronomical they generally have sales, and their tailors are the best in the city. They carry labels that are exclusive such as Polo Black Label and Kiton. They are really a destination store great for nice gifts. My favorite soaps can be found in the cosmetics area COR silver soap and Niven Morgan as well as a nice selection of Chanel Fragrances. If Patrick Batman came to Dallas he would only shop here. read more

We stayed in the store at least 20 minutes browsing items and not one of the 4 girls asked if we needed anything. I'm sure its because we didn't look like the only other two shoppers in the store. BRIDES: I can't recommend Stanley Korshak Bridal enough. They are incredible!!! Not only do they have amazing selections of gowns, the customer service is unlike any other! Deborah and Sita go above and beyond to make sure you are as happy as ever when you are in your dress. From the moment I came in to look for gowns to the moment before the wedding, my experience was only positive. I had custom sleeves made for my gown and they perfectly portrayed my vision to the designer. Every fitting was exciting and fun! I am from out of town and they made sure that when I took my bridals, my dress was packaged, pressed and ready to travel. Even after my bridals and before my big day, they re-pressed and re-packaged the gown for me so that I could carry it on the plane. My mother also got her gown there and they treated her just like all the other brides. They made sure that everything was perfect for her dress and that she felt like a million bucks. After the wedding, there was a slight tear in her gown and they fixed it up, no questions asked! They genuinely care about their customers and their satisfaction. Just read the other reviews and agree that Stanley Korshak is a really unique and special store. I purchased a beautiful wedding gown there for my September 2011 nuptials...my groom also purchased his suit there. All in, we spent about $9K - not an insignificant amount. The wedding weekend was so frantic...almost hard to enjoy, frankly. The day before our wedding, I swung by to pick up my dress at the bridal salon. Everything was packed in the hanging bag, which one of the salon associates begrudgingly agreed to bring to my car. I checked into the hotel where I would stay on my rehearsal dinner night and get ready for the wedding festivities the following morning. On the big day, my mother and soon-to-be mother-in-law joined me in my suite to have hair and make-up done. Later in the afternoon, my bridesmaids joined as well. Again, it was hectic. With everyone ready we grabbed my dress and headed to the wedding site. I changed into said beautiful gown at the venue. I didn't notice that I had forgotten the belt that accompanied my dress until during the dinner. I ran to the back room to look through the bag...no belt. I was CRUSHED but thought "don't let this ruin your night." Moving on. On Monday, I called the bridal salon. I was informed that the belt was wrapped in tissue and placed on top of a stack of empty tissue at the bottom of the bag. Ok, let's be honest, that is not a smart way to pack a dress accessory. I went back to the bag and looked through it again...no belt. Was it there? I'll never know. Stanley Korshak never apologized...never recognized that wrapping an accessory on empty tissue isn't a good idea...and frankly didn't demonstrate any real empathy about the situation. One associate informed me that "wrapping accessories in tissue is a standard practice and that many brides have misplaced bras, etc." I guess I'm not alone. I'm going to post this message on every blog I can find on the subject. Hopefully other brides won't have disappointment with their $5K purchase for their one special day. read more

I've heard in the past that Stanley Korshack is "The Place to Go" for wedding dresses and bridal consultations in Dallas, so naturally, I was very excited to have my Matron of Honor and my mother along side with me to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Upon arrival, we were passed around by three employees which made everything very confusing on whom we were working with. Once our consultant arrived, she states "have y'all been dress shopping all day?" *no* "oh well people are usually spent by the time they come here." Well awesome, we are not spent on wedding dress shopping. Then I was asked to tell her what I was looking for, went into that whole situation which included a specific dress by Watters, which they claim to carry on their website. After being dismissed on my dress I was looking for, I simply asked if they carried this dress since I got virtually no reaction when I showed them the photo. "Oh we don't carry Watters, only Watters bridesmaid dresses and some discontinued dresses." Awesome. Just what I wanted to hear. Next came the budget question. When asked I stated we wanted to stay just under $5,000, which to my surprise, you can find plenty of gorgeous wedding gowns for far under that price. After we felt like we were snubbed with our budget with a very aloof and unenthusiastic response, the consultant points us to a wall to being looking for any dresses I like. No where during this time did she make suggestions or pull any dresses that I may like. After all, WHY did I just spend 10 minutes explaining to you what I was looking for and WHY are you not pulling dresses for me? I do not spend all day around these dresses like you do. After being inherently annoyed and unimpressed by their dated selection, it was time to try on some gowns. Each gown I knew was an instant "no" and not only that, but the way the salon is set up, you have patrons walking around everywhere crossing your path to show your friends and family a dress. There is no way, anyone can have a genuine "yes" moment in that store with all of the chaos going on. Overall, the consultants do not care about what you are looking for and are not interested in accommodating you. And that is something no bride wants. I will never suggest Stanley Korshack to any of my friends getting married due to the nature of my experience. read more

When entering into the bridal salon, you notice that they do not have alot of dresses but that is what makes this boutique different than all of the other wedding dress shops. I was treated like royalty throughout the entire process, from the breezy scheduling, to the handwritten thank-you note I received in the mail a week after my appointment, to the follow-up call when my bridal consultant was replaced by another. And I bought a sample, at that! It is absolutely stunning and NOWHERE online can you find the dress I bought for anything near the price this salon sold it at. My experience at other Dallas bridal salons had been terrible so I was not feeling great. We booked my appointment with Deborah as my mom had used her several times in the past and Loved her. Well now I know why!! Deborah is quite possibly the kindest and most helpful person ever. I immediately felt welcome the second I walked in the door. She listened to my vision and helped me pick out several dresses to try on. With each dress, she made me feel special and beautiful but was very genuine and honest as well. My 4th dress to try on was THE ONE. We all knew it. I had the ultimate "bride" moment and cried as everyone else teared up. It was such a special moment. Deborah poured champagne for my mom sister and I, took tons of pictures and made the moment even more perfect (if that was even possible). Not only did I find the wedding dress of my dreams, but the service was impeccable... Deborah felt like a good friend who had come along with us. Since then I have had two fittings. I honestly did not think it was possible but I now love my dress even more. Sita (also with Stanley Korshak) has done a beyond perfect job on all of my alterations and has made the dress fit wonderfully. On our last appointment, Deborah realized my mom had not found a Mother of the Bride dress yet... she immediately knew she had the perfection option for my mom. She ran downstairs and brought up the most amazing Marchesa gown. Finally, after months of looking, my mom found her perfect dress for the occasion. I have left every appointment so excited for my wedding because I know I have the perfect dress. However, on top of that, I was truly excited to purchase my gown with Deborah at Stanley Korshak Bridal... she made every bit of the experience fun, emotional and exciting. I was looking at reviews on Yelp about Stanly Korshak store in Dallas .I have shopped there from time to time for years and by no means I am what you call the biggest spender . I saw a few less than perfect scores from people who did not like the high prices and parking accommodations or salespeople on their cell phone. I have news for you .The store is expensive and they have valet parking. If you received bad service while paying the high prices it is a valid complain other than that what else you want them to do. They are in high rent district .Accept it and pay for it and ask them for a glass of wine . read more
