The most unorganized place i have ever seen. I turned around and walked out without a second thought about them opening up my Movado!

It was great! I needed a new battery for my watch and it only took about 10 minutes. It was also very reasonably priced. Thank you!

I've went to expensive watch shops b4 for a $35 battery replacement, but won't ever waste money like that again.

Eventually I finally found myself back in store to get a much needed deep clean, and they did a phenomenal job. Within seconds of attempting the repair, they broke it. What I don't understand is why they didn't take their own experience and profession into account and simply decline the repair if it was that likely to fail. As a mechanic myself, I know what I will and won't break. And if I advise a customer to do something and it breaks because of my actions, I take responsibility for it. They did polish the ring and it looks nice, but that's about the only positive I can point to. Instead, they wanted to charge me $70 to fix the damage they caused, then recommended adding a shank for over $200, with the ring not ready until the next day. That's not accountability, that's passing the cost onto the customer. Overall, poor judgment, poor handling of the situation, and a really frustrating experience. I won't be coming back.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Gem was a referral from a family member and they were great…read moreduring the initial sales phase (the money taking phase). Ultimately though we DID NOT have the same experience that our family member did, I guess because we were unhappy with their work product and we had to go back and attempt to take advantage of post-sale service. If you are concerned about your jewelry store standing behind their work, you really should go somewhere else. We went in to have a tension ring re-sized, which they claimed they could do. We paid over $1000 for the resizing, and within 3 months the stone JUST FELL OUT!! Luckily after an hour or so on our hands and knees we found the diamond. We took it back for them fix it, which they did, for another charge of several hundred dollars. Guess what, almost immediately the stone became loose again. I gave them one more chance and to their credit they did not charge for the 3rd try. But within weeks the stone actually FELL OUT again (see picture). I went back in again, frustrated as you can imagine but calm, and they said they would stand behind their work BUT their work WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE DIAMOND EVEN IF their work caused the stone to fall out and lost forever! What kind of comfort is that? Are they afraid of their own work product resulting in lost stones apparently? But I digress, Gem now claims that the ring style is the real issue, not their work! They say that tension settings are an inherently unreliable mount. Really? I don't think so because my wife had this same tension ring for over 10 years and experienced absolutely no problems at all. I kept telling them but to no avail, it's not their fault. In the end, I simple asked for my money back because they didn't do what we paid them to do! But, you guessed it, they would not accommodate at all, and had the audacity to tell me to go somewhere else and still kept my money So that is my recommendation to you, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! There are dozens of reputable jewelry dealers in the Dallas area that can sell a ring, but only the better establishments stand behind their work, and Gem is NOT one of those retailers.

I have taken three different watches here, including a 2021 submariner, a 2005 sub, and a vintage 1964 Datejust. The basic price to restore a watch will be about $900, excluding parts. You don't always need parts - my 2005 just needed servicing and now works perfectly. The '64 Datejust was $1600, but that included significant replacements including the crown, the hands and the dial. Along with the polish, your watch will look nearly new when it is returned to you. Great service, as you would expect from the brand.

If wearing it 24h it runs 5-6s/d fast, not the +-2s/d they advertise but still very good for a mechanical watch. After RSC doing some research and myself answering a few questions and exchanging more information as to history of my watch services, etc. We were able to resolve our differences to a mutually satisfactory level. And I would continue to use / recommend using the manufactuer RSC as they have the experience, tools, and spare parts necessary to complete a service. I tend to have my timepieces serviced following aircraft maintenance philosophy "service after x amount of time regardless if running poorly or not, as gaskets degrade with time, so does the lubricating oils inside watch and its much less costly than repairing it after the fact than if it had an accident such as water damage, or rotor striking the movement body. Thank You Ashley!

Ended up with mostly 1 oz rounds and a couple smaller pieces. Easy process. The transaction was smooth and honest. They actually talk to you and make you feel welcome, not rushed or pressured. If you're new to silver and gold, they explain things without talking down to you. Sometimes the lines are long but that only proves that these guy are exceptionally awesome . I called other coin shops before going here. One wanted $8 premium on rounds and $10 on Silver Eagles -- straight ripoff. These guys were a lot more fair and resealable. I asked them their premiums up front and they told me straight up $1.50 on rounds and $3.50 to $4.50 on Silver Eagles cant remember. At the time, silver spot was around $80-$81. And change. Even though this place isn't the closest to my house, I'll drive out of my way to come here. Worth it. Good experience, good people, fair prices. I'll be back. I'm just hoping silver drops down cheaper. So I can stack more Thank u QuickDraw.

Quick Draw Rare Coins is exactly the kind of small business I love to support. They've been around…read morefor over 40 years, and when you walk in you can tell why--they care about their craft and their customers. They've got a cool selection of coins from all over, but I actually came in for a different reason: a watch that had been gifted to me needed a new battery and some adjustments. I usually wear an Apple Watch, so having a "real" watch fit properly was a little foreign to me. Johnny walked me through it and even after I thought it fit well, he suggested one more adjustment. Sure enough, when he brought it back, it fit like a glove. That kind of extra attention and expertise is something you don't always get elsewhere, and I really appreciated it. On top of that, he took the time to check the watch and noticed the gasket had been pinched by the last person who changed the battery. He went ahead and replaced it, which gave me peace of mind knowing the watch was properly protected. That's the kind of detail that separates a true professional from someone who's just rushing through the work. They use high-quality parts and Swiss batteries, and it shows. Even better, they actually came in lower than their original quote--always a pleasant surprise, and definitely better than the other way around. One of the main reasons I chose them was their quick response to my questions on Yelp, along with pricing that was more reasonable than some other places I reached out to. That responsiveness plus the personal service sealed the deal for me. And just to add--Johnny and Angela (the owners) are genuinely good people. Friendly, professional, and clearly proud of their business. Plus, they had a cute little puppy in the store, which, as a dog guy, just made the experience even better. Bottom line: if you need help with a watch repair, battery replacement, or anything coin-related, this is the spot. Great people, great service, fair prices. I'll absolutely be back the next time I need a watch taken care of.
