The young lady who helped me select and try on shoes was excellent. The most salient aspect of my experience is that she advised me about a particular shoe type running small. She very easily could have let me purchase my usual 12M size shoe and wrapped up the transaction. Instead she bought out a pair of 12.5M that fit me perfectly! I have never paid as much money as I paid for a pair of shoes, as I did, when I went here. They are also now the most comfortable pair of shoes that I wear to the gym. The guys working were personable and knowledgeable. I got the shoe that I did not know that I needed. read more

LeAnne is a true professional and her 17 years experience with New Balance shows. After receiving a pair of ON Cloudflyer Wide's onlline that were supposed to be high cussioned and finding they were too narrow and inimally cussioned, I went to New Balance. I explained my feet issues to LeAnne, who measured my feet then recommended the Wide NB Freshfoam X with beathable netting. The toe box was wider than the ON Cloudlyer and Brooks Ghost and cussioning ample...and price lower. Problem solved! Thank you LeAnne! I'll be back. read more

Not a friendly staff whatsoever. Went in to try on some shoes and exchange a pair. The guys look at the shoes I had, or wore once inside, and said they were terribly in bad shape. The sales staff here is less knowledgeable than a specialty running store like Run On or Luke's. I'm not saying they don't know what they're talking about, but that they seem to offer less information and advice when selecting a pair of shoes. They seem far less enthusiastic about finding the right pair of shoes for a person than making the sale. In that sense, they don't seem to offer much opinion on the type of shoe you will need for your type of feet, running style, etc. Their motto is more like, "if the shoe fits..." That being said, they have a great selection of New Balance shoes, including wide widths, so for me that is great, considering my affinity for NB. Prices are basically in-line with retail, and while some shoes go on sale from time to time, it seems as though the most popular series never do. As for the clothing selection, this is a specialty NB store, so of course everything here is NB, including the clothing. Prices again are in-line with retail, but I did snag a good deal on a clearance running shirt. read more

Customer service was not great when we went. My husband and I were both in the market for new shoes. He went in first as the baby was napping in the car. No one greeted him and no one checked on him it was as if he was invisible. Not one word was spoken to him. It seems they don't care about serving their customers at this store. Walked out with no shoes. Went to Nike and bought 4 pairs of shoes for us. Idk know type of customer they prefer to cater to, but it wasn't us. My husband is a fan of New balance and loved the ones he currently has if he wants more we will just stick to online or find another retail store. read more

I've had a couple of great experiences here. first off, when I screwed up a tendon in my leg from overtraining, these guys sat down and found the exact right shoe for me with my issue and found an insert that would help. The inserts were expensive relative to other inserts I have seen but I literally could not walk in other shoes. I would try to change these out for some other pair of kicks with a different insert and by night time, my ankle would be swollen up. Recently, I came in and needed a particular type of cleat. Matt showed me what they had but it did not work for my sport. What would any reasonable salesguy do at that point, "eh, is there anything else I can show you?" But no, Matt grabbed an ipad and showed the New Balance outlet that still had a couple of the old kind of cleat that I needed. He didn't just say "oh hey, you can try looking online." So I just want to really tell you all how great that kind of customer service is. You do that kind of a job for me when I come in, and even if if you don't have what I need, you still try to help me? Customer for life. Seriously. Nice job on genuinely helping me out. read more

Walking into a store with a sales associate behind a cash register that barely greets you like they are trying everything they possibly can to muster up the pretend cares they give to have you in their store- is probably the first sign to GET OUT. But, who doesn't love new balance shoes? Unfortunately, it was just a terrible sales associate behind a really great line of products. I came here to gift my friend two pairs of shoes as she was celebrating graduation and landing residency and what started off as a fun and exciting adventure with the intention to make this our ONE stop- ended up being an unpleasant visit that forced us out of the door. Nobody wants to sit in a store and browse for options when they feel like the associate helping them wants them out of the store. It's too bad that this is the closest NB shop to me. I think I'd rather order online to avoid these types of experiences in person. read more

I've worn New Balance since K Swiss went out of business because I like their narrow cut shoe. The last pair wore out in the toe. I looked like a homeless senior. The clerk said, The shoes are not made as well as they used to be. I'm disappointed that "made in America" ain't what it used to be. read more

I was very impressed with the professionalism of our sales person. Very knowledgeable about his product and up sold me on shoe inserts that are better than the ones I got from a doctor and at a better price. I have purchased training shoes from here in the past and found them to be so good that I went back several years later and have been wowed again. It pays to go to the source of a product rather than purchasing lower standard shoes from "discount" stores. I'm an older male who has a body that is healthy but getting less flexible and I appreciate the quality of New Balance shoes and having a store with qualified sales people. I have had some complications with getting the correct fit. I have very narrow ankles, and most shoes just don't work. I'm at home in the New Balance 1540v2. I ordered some on line at Christmas for their sale, I have not used them yet,My shoe now comes in a new Great color. I was so pleased that Brad exchanged my unworn shoes for the new color. The staff was more than accommodating and pleasant when I had to exchange a pair due to a manufacturing defaults. They called me when the new pair arrived as promised. I didn't have to hunt them down. The store has a lot of NB gear for running and other sports, but it's not a Luke's Locker. read more
