Instead, the atmosphere felt cold and pretentious, like we were inconveniencing them by being in the store. After waiting around and continuing to be ignored, we decided to leave and went across the street to McKinney Hat Company. The difference was night and day. We were greeted immediately, the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Because of that experience, we happily purchased three hats there. It's unfortunate because we were fully intending to buy hats here as well, but customer service matters. If the staff treated customers with a little more kindness and professionalism, they'd probably make a lot more sales. As it stands now, the experience felt snobby and uninviting, and we won't be returning.
