Update your damn business hours correctly. I drove 30 minutes to find the place closed 7pm when the store hours are listed as 10 to 8pm on Tuesday. So livid right now.

I'm back at Run On after several years. I signed up for the evening 5K classes again, and this time it's a 4 week class, I assume since it's too hot to start earlier. Not much has changed from the first time I join Run On in 2009, except the store has been remodeled and looks soooo much better. The major difference is before we run we do some core strengthening exercises. They are brutal to me considering the most exercise I get daily is typing on my keyboard and walking to and from my car at work. We start those and then get with our group to run. It's kind of cool that after a long break I ended up in a group with one of my old running buddies, Christy! I'm in the group that runs for 2 minutes and then walks for 1. We have a schedule that is always on the Run On website under the member section that lets us know what we'll be doing during the 4 weeks, and we're supposed to do a run on our own on Saturdays and do some cross training other days. We're training to be able to run a 5K on September 27th. I plan on resigning up after these classes end for the next session that trains you to run the Turkey Trot 5K. I encourage anyone that wants to run or just do something to lose weight (what I'm trying to acheieve) to check out the classes. You learn running techniques plus gear and hydration and injury prevention stuff. Lots of good stuff for a fairly cheap price (around $50 for the 4 weeks). Making friends and having people to run and talk to makes the runs go by a little faster than if you were out by yourself. Still highly recommend! PS - they still have free social runs every Wednesday if you ever want to check out what the classes are kind of about.

After being pissed off in Dick's Sporting Goods, I decided I had to go see more of a specialist store. I needed a wide running shoe in a women's 9 wide. Dick's doesn't carry wides. I don't want to wear ugly boy shoes. To make it more challenging, I need a motion control shoe. When I explained my predicament to the lady at Run On, she said, first, let's measure your foot. Turns out in running shoes I should really be a 9.5 so my toes have enough room in the toe box when my foot rolls off the front. In a motion control, wide, 9.5, WOMEN'S (not ugly men's) shoe I had a choice of.............two pairs of shoes. She said normally I would have had four options but their stock was running low. I got a pair of Brooks, motion control, 9.5, double wide, Ariel model. I'm happy. My feet are happy. I'm more stable when I work out. I wish I would have bought these shoes two months ago. I can do more and get more out of my work out and best of all, I don't even have to think about my shoes or my feet. I can concentrate on moving muscles. Thank you Run On. You do nice work.

Great team of knowledgeable sales professionals. I will return for my next pair as soon as I run down this pair.

Iconic Store with and Iconic Past, Here today, but may be gone tomorrow…read more... This is an amazing store with amazing architecture, but sadly this store may be in the past very soon. Despite preservationists efforts to save the store, along with the Dallas City Council itself, it appears this store's days may be numbered. If you want an amazing shopping experience with amazing selection and service, get there while you still can!

This is the OG Neiman Marcus store in downtown Dallas, since 1914. I've always been a big fan of…read moreNeiman Marcus, especially the Beverly Hills location, which has long been one of my favorites. While staying at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, my friend and I decided to stop by this flagship store, especially knowing it's a legendary location and currently at risk of closing. My friend was interested in buying some shoes and a purse as she lives abroad and was doing a lot of shopping (time to rack up on InCircle points) but once we walked in and realized how quiet and silent the store was, we decided to just have a coffee and then proceed to another store later. While I understand that the building has undergone architectural changes over the years, the ground floor felt underwhelming in terms of interior design. On a quiet Tuesday afternoon, the store was practically empty. We decided to grab coffee downstairs at the Expresso Bar, but the atmosphere was a bit off. A security guard in a bulletproof vest, visibly armed, stared at me for a second, which was somewhat unsettling. He moved on, but it made the space feel more tense than welcoming. We were dressed nicely--my friend had on a Chanel top, I was wearing fancy Italian loafers....so it likely wasn't about our appearance. There's nothing signature "Neiman's" or luxurious about the Expresso Bar or its presentation. Two iced lattes and a cookie served at a counter in plastic cups came to $20 with tip, which felt pricey considering the overall experience. The only other people in the bar seemed to be employees on break. I've read wonderful things about the Zodiac restaurant upstairs and wish we had time to check it out. I truly hope this iconic store stays open, but it could definitely use some fresh energy and warmth to bring it back to life. Some good energizing or soothing shopping music (even a piano) could do wonders.
