The customer service here is horrible. My mom went into the store to make a purchase on behalf of her grandson son and she was on the phone with me making sure she had everything I needed her to get. My mom was at the counter to make the purchase and the woman working as the cashier, told the customer behind my mom to come up to skip. The man stated, "she was here first" and the worker said, "she's on her phone" in a nasty manner. Since when does customer service end because someone has a phone up to their ear? My mom needed to be checked out and she didn't deserve to not get service. Also, when my mom first got into the store, she asked this same woman if there was a sweatsuit for kids and the woman was extremely rude to her and I could hear her, as I was on the phone. I think that the customer service in here needs an awakening, as there are other stores that customers can shop at, or even online. read more

Horrible customer service. Sold us a swim cap and broke on the first time my son put it on. They said they won't replace it or refund me my money. My son hasn't had a cap rip apart, except the one they sold us. In my opinion they are thieves. They said it was my son's fault. They even hung up on me while talking to them. Very unprofessional. BEWARE, this shop is a scam. Brought son in for getting fitted for goggles. The shop put the goggles on his face and the shop said this will work for him. Very expensive. Same day, at swim practice, the goggles constantly leak. Tried tightening to the point is discomfort and still leak. Back to the shop, in less than 24-hours, and all I hear is "no returns." So...the shops tells me what to buy but won't do a return/exchange/credit when their fitting is wrong. Very disappointing. Very dishonest. Dear Xtreme Swim: please don't bother responding to this review, asking how you can make it right. You lost business for all 3 of my kids, and anyone else I can save from going to your shop. read more

Swim team requires you purchase swimsuit from here with team logo.. though, they applied the logo crooked and off center. For $50+ for a swimsuit with a crooked logo it's pretty frustrating. When I addressed it with them.. completely unused swimsuit, new with tags, etc. they simply stated they don't do refunds or exchanges and consider crooked and off-center logos to be within tolerance because they are hand applied. I was at work goofing off when i hit me that i got a swim lesson the next day for a better me a better life and i googled and found this place. I rushed there after feeling really insecure because i have never ever been a pool before nor have i ever owned a swim suit and to top it all off i gained alot of weight and was worried that they wouldn't have a swim suit big enough for me. I went in there and told the lady of my fear and she smile and said SURE WE DO! she explained to me the different the different types how to put them on and GUESS WHAT!! they had my sizes and lots of other sizes too. they have a nice selection of things for men and women and kids and i loved the print swim suits I eye balled a pretty retro style swim suit but because of my shape i would have looked like a fool. the lady helped me out with all my questions and concerns and even shared her story of weight loss with me and how she swimmed and ate right and what she was doing to maintain it. she really inspired me and she really do look good now. i know i will be going back there for my needs. they had brand names like tyr, ocean, speedo, and tons and tons suits, gear, if you name it they got it! read more

Frustrated that they don't carry a certain size of pants for my daughter so I purchase the same brand direct from the website and they won't heat stamp her Team logo on the pants. You have to purchase the pants at their store... but they don't have her size... it is their policy just in case they damage it. Holly @ Xtreme Swim was XTREMELY helpful! We were shopping for a new tech suit as we have been with speedo x 4 yrs and wanted to try something new. However, we did not which brand would worked best for her and certainly which size would fit. Holly knew exactly which brands/styles worked for my child's stroke and which size was the correct fit. I NEVER shop in store for tech suits because of inability to return tech suits for incorrect sizing, but Holly reassured me that if the size she suggested was incorrect, she would refund price and we could purchase correct size in the chosen suit. The competitors in Dallas (wont say name, but starts with D) were very UNHELPFUL and could not/would not offer this (only saying "no returns and no try-ons"). Ridiculous pricing and unnecessary fees at this facility. I accidentally tried on a "tech suit" and was charged an absurd $50 "try on fee" for simply trying on the suit. When I asked the cashier for justification of the charge, she told me that my skin cells (which could have easily been wiped off) had diminished the value of the suit. Curious about whether this is the norm for "tech suits," I found a website online saying that "technical swimsuits are able to be exchanged or returned so long as they are in resellable condition with all packaging and tags undamaged and attached"(www.a3performance.com). I was unreasonably charged for simply trying on a suit, and I will be sure not to come back here and I strongly recommend others do the same. read more

Overpriced than Dicks or Academy. I bought lot of swim equipment from here for my son, only to realize they have a terrible return policy (you should read the receipt carefully). As soon as you have something to return, they ask 100's of questions and refuse return/exchange. There is a sales person called Steve in the weekends, very rude and unprofessional. Dicks is a much better place to shop, they provide 60 days satisfaction guarantee on all of their products. I know the swim teams in the area try to push their customers to Xtreme Swim, but trust me, the bigger sporting good stores are much better. I am never coming back to Xtreme Swim again. read more

Like others here I've gain weight since high school and was feeling very uncomfortable about getting into a swim suit again, the ladies here we're so amazing at making me feel secure enough to show them the suit. Also they had prescription goggles, which was awesome because I was unsure how I was supposed to go about getting some. Brought my daughter here also for all her swimming gear. Great job ladies, makes me want to give you all my money!!! This store is how all stores should be. Do NOT buy your lifeguard swim suit from here. After one month of wear, the grommets in the front have detatched from the material, making tying the suit rather difficult. I'm not sure how you stay afloat when you don't carry something as simple as earplugs with lanyards and and only one size (Kids) of the headband (for keeping earplugs in during flip turns and prolonged swim sessions) which comes in 3 sizes online. Today I went there with my 10year old son to buy a swimwear for him. A man greeted us and showed us the ones on sale. Of course we were looking for a suitable one for a better price. When my son went to the fitting room, I was still looking for a nice one for him to try on too, when I picked up a Speedo racing style jammer, the man in the shop shouted at me " ma'am, it is a racing one,very expensive, are you looking for a racing one?" $74dollars, VERY EXPENSIVE? Can I just take a look even though I won't buy anything?! Since he is too rude, I put it away immediately! Finally my son chose one and when I paid, the man asked me with surprise " are you sure to take this?" I was fed up with his rude manners,"yes!!!!!!!" You know why he surprised? Because I didn't take the ones on sale! If I want to buy 10dollar swimwears for just playing, why should I come here? Don't I know the Speedo professional ones are expensive? Even though I buy nothing you have to serve with GOOD MANNERS! Thank you for just reminding me the HIGH PRICE! Can only those who are in the swimming team buy here? If you want good customer service, DON'T GO HERE!! Back in February I purchased an Arena Fast Suit from Xtreme. My daughter was so excited about her new suit. The very first race she used this suit, the stiches started unraveling everywhere and a hole started to form. That was only 1 race! She took it off and put on her old Fast Suit We have bought similar Arena suits in the past and this has never happened, obviously it was defective. I called Xtreme Swim Monday morning after the meet and told them the situation. I talked to Debbie and she told me to send the suit back and she would give it to her Arena rep and send out a refund. I mailed the suit out that same day. Now it is April 29th and I've been calling every 2 weeks to find out the status of the refund. They don't return my calls and the people that answer the phone won't even transfer me to Debbie. I'm told she is too busy. They don't stand by their products at all.
