No one ever told me that this was the case. Not when I first purchased. Not when I called. There is no sign that states this policy. So basically, I made a $200 donation. Transparency regarding store policies is a must. So much for doing business with local, small businesses. Cannot support the small businesses that are not doing ethical business. Small businesses work hard for every client. You would think as hard as it is the customer would be valued and treated honestly.

I have found beautiful and unique dresses lately that I know not everyone else will have. The sizing can be limited, they'll carry a 1-2 pieces in each size and once they're gone they're gone. You can't even find them online. The prices are not extraordinary but are boutique pricing. The dresses I have purchased in the last few months range from 130-230. Their tees are in the $40-70 range. There's a pair of joggers I am dying for that are around $240 themselves even the before the matching jacket. It depends on the label and such, but you won't find poor quality stuff that is jacked up. Everything is well worth the price. The jewelry is some of the most beautiful unique pieces I've seen in the area. A lot is handmade by a few jewelry designers. OOAK stuff and priced appropriately for the stones and metals used. Statement pieces that will knock your socks off. I love supporting local business owners and I love finding a place that I immediately can go by real fast to to grab something without having to run all over downtown or Uptown to find something incredible and unique.

This well-curated store proved that maxim true as I found a lot of true vintage pieces, quirky and in excellent condition. The accessories here were also plentiful. Lots of unique hair clips, chunky jewelry and handmade Etsy-esque items. I caught and released a Free People mini-dress and a Diane von Furstenberg wrap. Surprisingly, there was a unhoused gentleman having some kind of altercation with himself just outside the store as I was leaving. It's definitely not an area where I would usually expect to see something like that.

I got enough money to pay for a full tank of gas on the way home, despite selling them premium vintage and designer pieces. My biggest complaint is that I was told they are only looking for natural fibers, but the clothing they are selling is synthetic fast fashion.

On this trip, most of the clothes are polyester/spandex from China with prices for linen. For plastic clothing, I think it should be a bit cheaper...at least it won't shrink!
