WESLEY AND TONY! FIVE STAR MOVERS! This may be the fastest five star review I've written and published on Yelp. Genuine and honest moving company. I mistakenly left some of my jewelry in a small box in the nightstand. They wrapped the nightstand and then flipped it to move it. Wellllllll, about five minutes later, an earring was found by Wesley. I was devastated! Another ten minutes later my boyfriend stepped on my ring. At this point, I'm so pissed at myself especially since this specific box held the jewelry my boyfriend had gotten me when we were first dating. Anyway, the movers took a lunch break and then started to move our furniture into our new condo. They hustled! They carefully brought the 70" TV in and very heavy recliners. They also disassembled and reassembled our recliners and our dining table. When they brought the nightstand back in, Wesley found the rest of my jewelry and I was elated. I asked them to take their time to ensure my furniture was properly wrapped and so that we could minimize damage to my refinished hardwood floors. Wesley was great at figuring out how to take care of different pieces of furniture, and maneuver the them out if the old place and into the new. He also disassembled and reassembled my giant fridge. These guys were excellent. They worked very hard & were both careful and quick. I was moving out of a condo in the middle of a construction zone and Wesley took the time to come over prior to the move day to meet with the contractors to ensure my HOA board was comfortable that he wouldn't be conflicting with the construction schedule. This company is so good we used them TWICE in two years. We were so happy the first time we just had to go back to Shift It...and they did not disappoint. These guys did a terrific job, I called them the night before I needed movers and although they were working on a job till 11 o'clock at night, they still showed up at 9:30 AM to begin the day. They arrived with a large moving truck and immediately got to work loading up couches, heavy boxes, a very old and heavy wooden hutch, and a gigantic wooden bed frame that was all in pieces. They wrapped up all the fragile items in heavy moving blankets and followed me to my new residence. They promptly got to work positioning a difficult oversized sectional couch thru a narrow staircase and ran thru the whole truck quickly and efficiently. Wesley even offered to assemble the bed frame for me and did a terrific job. It's rare to get an over qualified company to get on the job and get things done the old fashioned way, with hard work and a get it done attitude. Where do I begin? I could not be more pleased with the job Wesley and his crew did on our recent move. This move was no easy task. We had a full 26ft. Uhaul with furniture, boxes, and a myriad of loose items. Not only did they expertly unload the vehicle with precision, they had to move each item up a 35ft upward sloping driveway. And if that wasn't enough, some items had to be taken up TWO flights of stairs. Each item was handled with care and placed in the appropriate rooms. There was one more added twist, we live in the mountains and our home was surrounded by snow. I highly recommend Shift It Movers and I will be sure to refer them every opportunity I get. They helped me and my fiance move from Long Beach to Pasadena. We hadn't used movers before so we weren't sure we to expect but we knew we needed help moving our big furniture. They were a huge help! They moved all of our stuff in just a few hours. They were great about wrapping everything in blankets and taping stuff so it was secure. Everything was moved without damage including our 65" TV. After receiving a call that my goods wI moved from Chicago to Houston 5 months ago. One week after arriving in Houston, I received an email that my goods were ready for delivery. Latter I received another email that my delivery was canceled. According to Shift and Zippy Shell, Shift partner, they tried to connect with me all they for coordination. I was "late" in my response. In addition to the inconsistencies in their response and possibly delivered, I get my goods four months later. According to them, this was the busiest season and I need to wait. Got a sectional delivered from amazon in two large boxes that the delivery guys didn't want to risk bringing inside condo due to a tight 90 degree door entrance. Called Wesley and he was able to get to my place within a couple hours! Was originally going to need two guys but Wesley was able to handle it by himself and was very reasonable on price.
