We arrived 5 minutes after they opened and we were the only people in the store. At no time did any employee walk over to say hello, ask is we needed help or attempt to make contact with us. They just stayed behind the desk on their phone. We were there for about 15 minutes and decided to leave. We will make a little bit longer trip to a different SW store. read more

Called about 15 mins prior to them closing and was getting a quote on a upcoming project, when a guy in the background came up to the gentleman helping me and told him I would have to call back tomorrow because he had to close up and get going home. I was one product away from finishing up my quote which he even told to the guy in the background and he said " doesn't matter I would have to call in the morning." That's not good customer service,especially to someone who holds an account there and spends well over 75k a year on paint. I would like to mention what an excellent experience we had with the manager Jose Aponte at the Route 60 Sherwin Williams store. My husband and I came in to discuss a recent can of paint we bought for our cabinets in the color Agreeable Gray that did not exactly match our new cabinet doors and drawers we ordered and are having installed. We had to have our cabinet frames sprayed the exact color of the doors/ drawers. Jose took the time to color code the paint match to the new drawer face exactly (it is slightly lighter than the Agreeable Gray on the card). He listened and was extremely patient in making us happy before we left. He assured us he would color correct again if we had any issues when we got home. We felt very seen and heard which is uncommon in most customer service dealings these days! !! We were extremely satisfied and if we ever have to buy paint again, he will be the only person we will deal with in the future. read more

I hired a painter who uses Sherman Williams paint. Not gonna lie after reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure if they were customer focused. Thankfully I was totally wrong. This is the worst Sherwin Williams store I have ever dealt with. They canceled 2 of my online orders without giving a reason. When I called the toll free number they couldn't tell me why & referred me back to the store. Called the store & they said it was probably due to lack of product & then they hung up. I checked with another store to check the inventory & it shows that that 3 units of the product I needed were available, They said they didn't have the product. If it wasn't for the quality of your paint I wouldn't even deal with your stores. The company I work for does tens of thousands of dollars of business with you every year so I go into return a gallon of excess primer and I'm told that I can't without the receipt because it was bought it another location at another location. All of my transactions are all done through your computer through my company's account so the fact that the information's in the computer and they still won't take a back to unused product is asinine. read more

I have been dealing with Sherwin Williams over 20 years and this is the worst store I have delt with. When placing my order the guy I talked has no idea how to talk to people. When I showed up 30 minutes after I placed my order they said it wasn't done, which is fine but she said I placed the order 5 minutes ago and I called at 3:39 showed up to stores 4:09. This place is ridiculous Evan the store associate has no sympathy for the customers and was no help at all . He was on his phone the hole time and every time I needed help he said he didn't know. I went to the Sherwin Williams store in Brandon. It was recommended that they not mix my paint because the original came from a different Sherwin Williams store. I called the original store and they were surprised I was told that. I called the Brandon store back and they still felt they should not mix my paint. I explained that I have purchased paint from Home Depot before. As long as each store has my paint color numbers they can mix my paint. Very disappointed by the lack of willingness to help a customer. I will go to the other Sherwin Williams or try the paint match at Home Depot. read more

Horrible customer service ! I bought a over $700 in wall paper. I had it shipped to my home in Tampa, the cost of shipping was $25. This was not my issue although I do find it a bit strange that a retail store charges for shipping. I was advised that if I needed to return item, that there would be a $25 restocking fee, still a bit strange but I was ok with that. I did not like one of the designs I bought so I went to the store to return item. Then shop for a different item. I was at this point advised that there was a 25% restocking fee. ( I advised that I was told $25) The employee proceeded to just say"nope it's 25% ,sorry for miscommunication ". Now I'm fully aware that the receipts states that returns are SUBJECT to up to 25% . I was completely misled and this so called miscommunication cost me over $100 in restocking fee. Truly amazing on how poorly this store both handles there customers as well as there horrible return policy. Needless to say I did not purchase additional wall paper from this store. Never would I shop at this company and I will advise all that are close to me to not shop with such a store. read more

I have never had a problem with customer service. They even reimbursed me for paint that was not the color I had requested without any problem. I always get great discounts as well in paint and wallpaper. I continue to go. I have had two transactions with the Brandon Sherwin Williams Store. Both recent. As a new customer I didn't know what to expect. I got immediate attention from the manager when I walked in. He assisted me in making my selection and rang up the sale promptly. I was out of there quickly. More recently I phoned the store for a special order product.
