If you like wasting time cleaning the tip and replacing tips for your airless sprayers don't buy PPG products.
I bought their bonding agent for a foreclosed property that had been vacant for many years and hadn't been painted since the original coating products in 1984. The PPG bonding agent won't come off anything. So mask and protect well.
BTW with the exception of epoxy, all paint starts out as High Gloss or glossy which is rarely used. Then more clay is added to get Semi-gloss. Then more clay is added to get Satin. Then you guessed it more clay is added to get eggshell. And finally the most clay is added to get flat or matte finish. That is why flat paint is the least washable.It has a lower percentage of the binding agent for the color. So ignore the warnings on paint product cans about mixing paints. This is just an effort to reduce liability and sell more product.
The basic white pigment is titanium dioxide, iron oxide, cadmium sulfide for reds, metallic salts for yellow to orange, iron blue / chrome yellows for blues and greens. read more
