We ordered tile in early March for a kitchen backsplash and it was delivered promptly to the store. Terry was very helpful about choosing the tile. After our tile came in it sat in the store for over a month waiting for our contractor, who has a business relationship with The Tile Store , to pick up the order. I called on several occasions to check on the status of our order. When the tile was finally installed the edging for tile was missing although it was clearly part of our order. Since we are sunbirds we had to leave before our project was finished. I would recommend that customers using The Tile Store pick up their order themselves if possible and make certain the order is complete.This would also give the customer the option to use a contractor who is not affiliated with The Tile Store. read more

Excited to see that the Tile Shop has a variety of options and colors. We have been looking at places throughout Tampa, and I'm happy to say I like this place. I love love love the look of the different types of tiles and it's nice to see quite a bit of examples of how multiple types of tiles pop out the look of the bathroom or kitchen. I'll definitely come back here when I'm ready to do our kitchen backsplash and elevate the look of one of our bathrooms. Wish I knew how to do all this stuff by myself, or at least had the time to do it. read more

Our experience with The Tile Shop in Brandon started off great until we used one of their recommended contractors. Things went down hill fast or slow I guess because our small project of tiling a 3x5 walk-in shower took them over 3 months and they never even finished it. They tiled the shower floor and part of the shower walls and then after running into tons of detailed mishaps and $3,000 (for their labor only, we bought all material and supplies) they never finished! The tile job they did on our shower looks like a 'diy'er just learning how to lay tile' did the job. I am beyond disappointed with the outcome of this project and will never go back to the Tile Shop. After paying top dollar for our tile I would have expected that they would recommend someone better. Worst experience. read more

What a beautiful and large tile store this is. We were met at the door by Betty and she asked what we were interested in, We told her and she took us right to that section (which was very big), Not being ready to buy yet, we got prices on some of the tile, got all our questions answered. Betty made sure we had a pleasant experience. They do not sell anything but TILE. Floor, counter, shower, etc. The also do not do their own installation but give you a list of people you can contact for estimates. Once I make up my mind on whether or not I'm going to pull the trigger on this, I will be back to this store for all my tiling needs. read more

Two reasons I'm not giving 5 stars. One being that the product you end up picking out more than likely will take a week to order. The second reason is that I made 3 trips into the store and it was the third salesperson that I found so helpful in making a final decision. It seems like everyday different people were working there so it may be a luck of the draw situation when it comes to finding a person working there who really seems to know what they're talking about when it comes to design. It may be a luck of the draw. They have a better selection at least than other stores in the area, at least in regards to what I was looking for. We were able to make a final decision with our renovation... Thank God. Unfortunately our builder is going to have to wait days for the supplies to come in. If you're looking for inspiration bathrooms I highly recommend them. read more

Very disappointed. The staff was helpful in choosing the tile but sold us 30 pounds of tile adherent which utterly failed resulting in a lost day of work plus additional labor to redo the entire tile set. Really inexcusable for a store proclaiming to be experts in tile. Store rebuttal is my contractor did not use the product correctly which is false. He has 30 years of experience and he used it as recommended. Manager admitted that he/she would not have sold us that product. Ugh. read more

The selection and service at this store can't be matched anywhere in the area! I have been to many stores in the area and even placed my order with one, only to have half of it delivered wrong! We went here and they couldn't have been more patient and helpful! My order was placed on Friday and delivered to my home on Monday! Awesome service! You won't be sorry if you shop here! read more
