Well guess what folks? This is February 2019 and my previous review indicated we have waited for service for one broken item on our tub since August of 2018. TheraTub walk in tub company will provide you with a great walk in tub at a reasonable price. I received estimates from several other companies before buying from TheraTub. All of the other estimates were 5000, 6000, to 7000 dollars more than I paid. We chose one with a bidet and heated seat. The installers did a professional job. The Theratub team from start to finish were kind fair and professonial. We purchased the walkin tub for safety reasons as my wife had falling recently and broke her hip and iI'm suffering with Parkinson's. I was having a hard time just standing in the shower and didn't want my wife to have another fall so the walkin tub is a blessing to us. TheraTub is made in the USA which was a primary requirement for us when we started our research. Most of the tubs provide the same features but TheraTub's warranty exceeds any of the competitors by far. The quality of the tub is excellent, sturdy and the installation process was very efficient and tidy. Communication with the sales team was very professional and timely, no question too silly to ask. Pricing is very competitive. We had a concern that no sales representative was available in our area and the entire process was done by email and telephone but all turned out perfectly for us and others that we have recommended TheraTub to. On a personal note, I have diabetes and CHF and this tub has greatly improved the circulation in my legs that are now back to a healthy color. This tub gave me HOPE that my health could improve and I have taken additional steps to continue to improve my health. As I am 80 with several health challenges, the idea of a walk in tub was very appealing. As my wife began to develop knee problems, it gained momentum. Out preliminary investigation was discouraging as the price was going to be several thousand dollars more than we wanted to spend. As we are members of AMAC, we were pleased to see TheraTub mentioned in the monthly publication. Out initial contact with TheraTub was with Jay and he was extremely helpful He answered all of our preliminary questions in that first phone call, along with giving us pricing information. Maybe this idea would all work out! We had looked at some houses (we live in a 55+community) and my wife was NOT impressed with the walk ins she saw. She liked the looks of the TheraTub straight off! After a couple of months mulling where it would best go in the house, etc. We had a few final questions. A joint call session with Jay resolved all those and we scheduled the installation. M The best was yet to come! Although the installers wanted to finish up in Texas on Thursday, that was going to be difficult for us. We had a number of appointments scheduled Thursday morning, but they asked what would work for us. We said after 2:00 PM and they said "no problem". They would arrive at 2:00 PM and leave for Florida about 5:30. What? Remove the old tub, install the new one and be gone in 3 1/2 hours? We had some images that were a bit scary. Nothing to worry about. Randy and his two young helpers arrived promptly at 1:55, did the work, showed us how to operate the new tub, hauled the old tub off with them and departed at 5:30 PM. I asked him how they did that and he said with a grin, "I've installed two before.". Now, that they are gone, how do we like the tub? Well, to tell the truth, the jets a just a bit wimpy. Other than that the tub is dream. I called Jay and explained my wife would like a bit more force from the jets. He said he didn't think that would be a problem as the jets are powered by a ¾ HP pump. Their supplier makes a 1 HP pump and a 1 1/2 HP pump and it should be a simple swap, out. He called yesterday and asked which we would prefer, and they are getting prices for us to choose from. Our current view is that TheraTub is the kind of company we would all like to do business with. Honest sales folks, efficient installers who left our home as they found it with the new tub installed, and customer service that wants to please the customer. Just what we wanted! Last week we had our new Thera Tub installed. It works like a dream!! We had checked with several other walk-in tub companies. They were asking $4000 more and told us what a deal it was. Thera Tub is made in Florida. There is no middle man so we consumers save. Erin was wonderful. She let me pick out the functions I wanted for the tub therefore saving me money. They give you a list and you can pick and choose. They even had someone local to install it. It was installed in just one day. Marc and Toby our installers were great!!
