Oh, they were going to cover everything completely so no moving furniture out of rooms, would patch ceiling and match orange peel or whatever was on it, etc., etc. They weren't the highest and they weren't the cheapest of the three we met with, and we liked his demeanor. Come to find out, the guy and his teenage helper (who was constantly on his phone) did NOT cover everything carefully. My plantation blinds in the living room still have specks on them. The grout in the tile in living room and kitchen has specks that I can't get out. It doesn't match the grout. The paint and spackle specks were on EVERYTHING, including the tv and electronics in the living room -- they didn't tape down the coverings on my electronics or furnishings. The plastic sheets that they hung from the top of the walls just blew around every time someone walked past, and didn't stay down on the bottom. I had to buy new blinds for the kitchen (5 windows) because of all the spatter on those. I was not planning to do that. They did not double coat the area of the kitchen that needs frequent wiping where my pet eats, even though we had specifically asked for him to do so, and the single coat wears thin when I clean it. The ceiling patch and places where the drywall sheets meet can be seen, despite his upfront assurances that they would look perfect and the texture would match. They painted AROUND doorknobs, light switches, ceiling lights and electrical outlets, instead of taking the plates off. You'll notice all these things in the weeks after you've paid them. Before they left, I told the guy about all the specks in the grout at the front door, and he made a big show about wiping them, but all he did was get the ones off the tile, not off the grout. In addition, they forgot to do the back of the bathroom door, and I had to do it myself later. Lot of issues. Keep looking and skip this guy.
