I had a very disappointing experience at the Benjamin Moore retailer in Chantilly, VA, on Friday…read more When I was checking out, the manager, Dustin, asked if I had a customer account. I told him I was going to make a quick phone call to get the account information. His attitude changed immediately. He became visibly angry and told me he was not going to sell me anything because I was on the phone trying to get the account number. I was surprised and confused by his reaction. I don't know what I did that warranted being treated that way. His behavior felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional, especially for someone in a management position. I hope this matter is taken seriously and reviewed. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like additional details about what occurred.

Then Jefferson Vargas stepped in--and completely turned things around. He took full ownership, and when the store didn't have the base paint needed, he personally drove to another location before opening hours, came back to open on time, mixed everything perfectly, and even delivered the order to my home. That level of service is almost unheard of. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had.

I have to say that the manager, Brian, and his assistant, Noel, provide the best customer service to everyone who walks in. I've observed them going above & beyond to help customers, whether with their questions, concerns, product information, color questions and even troubleshooting their projects at home. I've been here twice since the new year, and with the time it takes to have paint shaken, I know & I've seen that they've taken the time to expertly match paint color from other brands, make sure you purchase the right product, and basically answer any & all questions you have. The store is also clean & nicely organized with a really nice paint chip display. Highly recommend...!

Samuel was an amazing help! So happy to help me with the right kind of paint for each project, the sheen and possible colors. He then told me that I could open a contractor account because I ran my business. It was so quick and easy to do - and it was wonderful that he talked to me about it. I sincerely appreciate all of his help. Then Luis called to follow up and offer more assistance. Such a great store with amazing staff!

When I bought my condo a year and a half or so ago - the builder, Beazer, used McCormick brand…read morepaints to paint the place. Beazer left me with a pint of the wall paint and a pint of the trim paint for touchups. I recently used up most of that pint of wall paint for repainting a couple of sections of wall in the living room after having the walls ripped open for a custom surround sound speaker cable run for my HD TV setup. I figured I had better get some more of this paint and hold it in reserve just in case (you never know when the manufacturer is going to discontinue a color!). I found that McCormick Paint is not available at Home Depot or Lowe's - you have to go to their own stores. Fortunately, there is one nearby in Manassas. I've gone by here once before on a Saturday afternoon - but they have limited hours on Saturdays - they close at noon. It's located on Route 28 south of Manassas - a bit just past the interchange of Route 28 and the Prince William County Parkway/Route 28 Bypass. So I made a point to get there about 11:30 am this morning. They had what I needed in stock! Picked up a gallon of their "Tempo Premium - Interior Semi Gloss Acrylic Enamel 18012 Designer White." Cost was $33 and change. Guy snagged me a gallon, rang me up, and I was on my way!

A representative named Sherry (I hope that's spelled correctly) answered the phone and she told me that they had several gallons of the stain I was looking for. I wanted to right this review because her customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this location and I will be coming back in the future for all of my paint/stain needs even though it is further away from where I normally go to.

I have become a lifetime customer. I arrived frustrated to…read morefind Benjamin Moore had "updated" (changed) the formula to the Affinity color (Kangaroo) used on the whole of my exterior only 2 years ago!!! I had only needed a gallon to do some touch up on a trellis fence. I had purchased that gallon from a different BM vendor in Mclean to then discover it was not a match to my exterior though it was the exact paint type, color and brand I'd bought and used only 2 years ago!!!!! I took the touch up gallon to Vienna paint to get answers. I could not understand why the color didn't match what I'd purchased just 2 years ago (side note: ALWAYS take a photo of your paint formulas, that is the ONLY way to ensure you get a match in the future, the companies will change to fomulas and it TOTALLY changes the color) I was pretty frustrated when asking the clerk how to obtain the old formula information. Thankfully, the business owner stepped in and he was phenomenal. He had the sales rep call Benjamin Moore to ask after the prior formal (not available). He then took my sample and had it matched, perfectly. But most of all he GAVE me the matching gallon that I needed. He kept, for proper disposal, the gallon I'd purchased at A DIFFERENT STORE even though he told me I could also attempt to get my money back there. I was floored by his generosity. It didn't cost me anything but some frustration with Benjamin Moore for this bait and switch formula change. Thank you, Vienna Paint!!!!!!!!
