I would strongly caution others before purchasing from Stone Lux Stone Solutions. I purchased remnant tile from the company for a time-sensitive renovation project. The tile that arrived was covered in rust stains and was unusable. While one employee made an effort to help find replacement material, the owner took the position that the issue was 'not her problem' and offered little assistance in resolving it. As a result, my project was delayed by more than a week. My tiler had already installed some of the material and then had to remove and replace it, resulting in additional labor costs and rush fees from both the tiler and plumber. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of accountability and customer service when a legitimate problem arose. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this company. _________________________________________________________ I would like to clarify a few points in response to Stone Luxe's comments. The issue is not the natural variation of stone referenced in Stone Luxe's terms and conditions. The material delivered contained rust contamination that rendered portions of the tile unusable. Rust is not an inherent characteristic of marble and is fundamentally different from the natural variations in color, veining, or pattern referenced in the terms and conditions. Her comment is therefore not relevant and Stone Luxe is obligated to remedy. While Stone Luxe references its offer of a refund, that was not a practical remedy. By the time the defect was discovered, the project was already underway. A refund for the material alone would not have addressed the significant costs resulting from the unusable tile, including removal of the rusted material from the premises, project delays, rush labor charges, and the rescheduling of other work. Replacement material was the only viable option to keep the renovation moving forward. I do appreciate the efforts of one employee who worked diligently to identify replacement material. Unfortunately, my experience with ownership is markedly different. Rather than acknowledging responsibility for supplying rust-contaminated material, I was told that the situation was 'not her problem,' which was both disappointing and inconsistent with fundamental levels of customer service for damaged product that was delivered. Stone Luxe also states that replacement material would arrive within one to two business days. However, the carrier advised me that the shipping method selected for the replacement shipment would require approximately four to five days in transit. As a result, the replacement material arrived significantly later than represented, further delaying an already time-sensitive project. Ultimately, my review is not about natural stone variation. It is about receiving rust-contaminated tile, the additional costs and delays that followed, and the manner in which the situation has been handled after it was reported. read more

We had the best experience with Stone Solution + Design and highly recommend them!!! We were picking our countertop granite next door, so we stopped in at Stone Solution + Design to check them out. I am not they type who enjoys decorating, so I was pretty stressed out about picking out tile and backsplash to ensure it would go well with the cabinets and countertops. The gentleman who helped us (husband of the owner) was absolutely fantastic. I told him of my stress and that I wasn't sure what to do. I showed him the picture I had of the cabinets, and he walked next door with us and looked at the granite we had selected. He then showed us several options of backsplash to go with the granite, even going into the back room to where they had new items which had not been put on the showroom walls yet. After we selected what we liked, he walked back over to the granite with us to ensure we liked them with it. He then did the same thing with the tile. The prices were very reasonable and worked well with our budget. An invoice was emailed to me, and payment was super easy through the secure site. A day or two later, time came for me to pick out the color for the paint, and again my stress level went up. I was texting friends and going back and forth on what I wanted. I contacted Deniz via email, and she responded very quickly with a color she thought would go well with the color scheme . I checked that color and was amazed, as it was perfect for what we wanted. When my order came in, Deniz worked around my contractor's schedule to deliver the order. Delivery was on time and very easy and pleasant. We then realized, I was not going to have enough of the backsplash to complete the design I wished. I contacted Deniz again, and she put in a rush order for the extra tile. I told her we or our contractor would pick up the tile when it arrived, as it was only a couple of square feet and not worth her delivery time. When the tile arrived, Deniz contacted me. She had another delivery in my area, and would have her driver drop my small order off on his way. I cannot say enough about the AMAZING customer service from this business!!! I was in the process of sourcing quartz for a complete bathroom remodel, when I happened upon Stone Solution, conveniently located next to a granite shop. The showroom was immediately impressive, stocked with quality porcelain, marble, glass, and all other types of high end tile, including 3-D tile and tiles that fit together to look like beautiful works of art. The showroom is just large enough to provide excellent options for all budgets, but not so large that it is overwhelming with endless choices. This is a family-owned business and I was greeted warmly by the owner on my first visit. Although I was in the market for tile that would not break my budget, I couldn't help but appreciate the high quality options. The owner worked directly with me to select tile that was only just slightly outside my price range which was worth it, as the visual effect of the installed tile is nothing short of stunning. While I was initially expecting to just update my bathroom, what I got (as a result of the tile) was a bathroom that belongs in a five-star hotel... and I love it. This is not just my opinion, but the feedback that I have received from family, friends and neighbors. My experience with Stone Solution was so positive that I did not hesitate to return to them a few months later looking for tile for a basement bath and then a powder room remodel. Denize is just wonderful and so our her products. We had to pick porcelain tile for our basement which was going through an unexpected remodeling (flooding fun). Prior to visiting her store, we had been to several stores like Dal Tile and MSI. One, Denize's store has a very easy, customer friendly layout. You can touch and feel the tile. MSI for example, couldn't even let us see the tile on the floor. Dal Tile on the other hand had awkwardly stacked their tiles in a corner. Plus, the customer service that Denize offers is so much superior than any of these speciality tile store. She last minute arranged additional tiles for us when our contractor made a mistake and ran short of the tile. She also offered advise on how to lay the tile and which grout to choose. It also helps that Denize's prices are very competitive and we feel that our tile looks 3X the price of what we paid. We will be back in the future with more business. I called Stone Solution and Design and they had the same tile and offered it at a considerably lower price. I ended up purchasing both a floor tile and a wall tile at Stone Solution and Design. We checked the selection at Stone Solution and found a backsplash which matches exactly what we were looking for, and for a very reasonable price.
